I looked at the video and at the first point you mentioned, you can see table 1 move towards the center of the screen and then the jump happens. PlaceMint can not make that shift to the middle happen. However, once PlaceMint recognizes the new position, it preforms the swap with table 4 because the 4th slot is the closest for the new location of table 1. Drag & Drop Swapping can be disabled in the options if you don't want the feature.

I don't have much information, but it sounds like they are not properly handling the resize event. I don't have control of how they react to the event, I can only cause it to happen.

The settings file (PlaceMint_settings.config) is corrupted. Close PlaceMint, delete the file, reopen PlaceMint and reset all the options you want.

I'm sorry but I just substituted bits out of the Pokerstars regex that matched the bits of the window title in the Sky poker windows.

I think it was more luck than judgement to be honest!

Poker Rev.17 is the regex list that is the most updated and should have the full list of sites at the moment? Seems like I'm missing something.

I responded to Bobson's post in an earlier reply. If what I wrote for him does not satisfy your needs, please supply more exact window titles and I will try to improve the expression.
The easiest way to do this is to make one slot and make it a stack by setting the Max Window Count to the number of windows you expect to have open. Then make additional slots in the tile layout as you described.

In general, the wiki is written to describe all of the things that can be configured. Since PlaceMint is very configurable, it may seem intimidating at first. The quick setup guide is there to show that there are not many steps to go from nothing to up and running. I have updated the step you mentioned to make it clearer that you need to move to a different tab to see the regex lists.

Yes, there are expressions in the regex list that can be downloaded from the program website.

Yes. If you want the windows to stay separate, you will make a window group for each site. If you want the tables to all be in the same set of slots, you can select both expressions for the one window group.
As with the last answer, you will need a different window group if you don't want the lobby to be in the same set of slots.

I was not able to reproduce this. Many of the expressions in the downloadable list wrap multiple times and do not display this issue. Are you sure there was not a new line character in the text you pasted or you accidently hit enter?

You can pause PlaceMint at any time and it will no longer control any windows. This also means that any new windows will not be positioned while the program is paused.

Regular expressions are not good at saying "anything but this". Therefor this expression should only match 180 man sngs. If you put this as your first window group, it should keep the 180s in the first window group.

i can't get hem to work with placemint. the hem windows are recognized within the program as i open them but they are not put to any of the slots i defined. apparently this a problem solely with hem. the other windows work

and with the latest version settings get messed up when i shutdown the computer while placemint is still running... this is not a problem with version 2.x though

what can i do about it? i use win7

When you say they are recognized, you mean the titles show up in the tree view? Do you have Move selected for that window group?
The problem is that some work needs to be done when saving the program settings (which happens when you close the program), but since Windows is shutting down, some of the work the needs to happen is not successful. The workaround is to close PlaceMint before shutting your computer down.

i used Placemint with 888 Poker and until i got the new software update today it worked fine.
Now, after the recent update placemint doesnt work anymore. Tables are not beeing resized and positioned in the slots.
I hope somebody has a solution for this.

If they are showing up in the tree, that means there is not a problem with the expression. If you have Vista of W7, start PlaceMint with Run as Admin.

Just saying it doesn't work does not help me. Tell me what part is not working. Are windows not being positioned? Are they not being matched and put in the tree view?
If it is the latter, please follow the instructions for asking for regex help.

running the program as administrator solved the problem with hem windows not being positioned! I didn't realize I still have to do that even though I'm logged in as admin!!

Can someone makea video tutorial just tiling some pokerstars windows

I use placemint with iPoker, but there's a couple of bugs. The windows will sometimes randomly switch positions which temporarily confuses me. And sometimes the window will momentarily move to another place (I think it moves to where the window was when it was created) then moves back to its slot in the next refresh (I have it set to the default 200ms). I'm not sure what's causing this. Is there any way to fix this?
