trying to get placemint to work on my new computer. i downloaded placemint and the regex and slot template lists and selected/saved them in the tools>options popup. when i open tools>config i click "add new group" but when i click title regex there is nothing to select. i see "expressions" as a heading for an empty field beneith it. Halp i cant play w/o placemint any mores!

I have made a few groups 4 tables, 6 tables etc

Currently when I want to change the group im using I go "configure" then check/uncheck the boxes in the Title Regex and Class RegEx tabs.

is there a better way to change what group you are using?

Do you have Ripple Forward selected? This would move all empty slots to the end of the list.
1) Yes, you can pause PlaceMint from the File menu or by a hotkey (default Alt+Shift+P).
2) See first comment.
3) Yes, un-select Move for the window group and the window will only be sized.

You can make multiple configurations files for each of the setups you want. Then you can use the file menu to load in the new configuration. After it has been loaded once, there is the recent file menu for quick switching.

So I had just got placemint working nicely on my old computer but I have now switched to a new computer. Everything is set-up exactly as before (same reg ex list, slot template list). I now have Windows 7 as opposed to Vista before. I have ran Stars and Placemint as administrator just to make sure. But I get absolutely no response - the Stars windows dont go into the slots as they did before - any suggestions?

EDIT: I was using the old version of PM, but downloaded the latest to make sure that that wasnt the issue - still nothing

PM works for regular tables. But Rush isn't recognized for me

need some help setting up a stack in slot 1 and have hot keys to move the table to slot 2,3,4 and have the same button to move the table back into the stack (slot 1) on UB

I managed to fix this, for some reason the regex list didnt load correctly when I switched computers. Now I have a new problem, for some reason placemint keeps bring my tables to the front in front of all other windows - cant even use the lobby unless I minimise tables - any suggestions??

Does anyone know if there is anyone software out there that could tile then stack on the tiles

Do you have Send F5 selected? Do your slots keep the same aspect ratio that the default size used?

In the Configuration window, go to the Slots tab. Max Window Count sets the number of windows a slot can hold (anything greater than 1 is a stack). Hotkey when you press the assigned hotkey, the active window will move to that slots.

Just make 6 slots with Max Window Count of 6 and you have your stacks.

Hi I found this in the thread and it will work for most Ipoker tourneys up until ante level. The guy who posted said he added ante to the text and it worked. My newb question is how do you add ante to this regex or can someone post their own ipoker regex please as the definded one doesnt grab any tourneys for me. Thank you.

On the Slots tab of the Configuration window, there is a hotkey section. Select the modifier keys you want to use. Then click in the text box and press the key you want to use as the main part of the hotkey. Hotkey swapping is also disabled by default, so make sure you enable it in the Options window.

There was a missing "+" so the expression was not matching any table where the big blind was multiple digits.

That is not the current expression for iPoker. Update to the newest regex list and see if that works. If not follow the directions for getting regex help.

The expression you posted matches the window title you posted. So the issue is somewhere else. Does it show up as an option on the title regex tab?

Short answer is..... This works! for RUSH.

I only had a few minutes to test. Will give it a workout tonight and look at having both Rush and non-Rush tables up at the same time. IF I have a problem, I will report back.

hey i need help with a problem, i'll ship $10 on stars to anyone that can solve it.

when i move a table around and pass over some other tables, it moves them around. also when i close a table it will sometimes move another table.

my grid has a lot of overlapping slots. i use TN and i play on Stars.

i think i need to disable swapping but when i do so i can't move tables to other slots.

It should not be swapping any tables when you are still dragging the window. If you have Ripple Forward on, that could cause windows to move when you close a window in an earlier slot.

I'm trying to set this up with Full Tilt on the 6max tables. I'm not really sure what to do with the Title RegEx and Class RegEx. I believe I did the slots correctly.

I actually just got everything working for the most part. The only thing thats pissing me off is the FTP lobby is getting moved into one of my slots...I setup the slots for 6 tables, and when there are 5 tables open, it makes the lobby take a slot.

What did you select as the title and class regex? If you only did the Full Tilt Class, that will match all Full Tilt windows. If you selected Full Tilt and Full Tilt Lobby, then it will match the lobby as well as tables.

tables were swapping while dragging, and ripple forward was off. i was able to fix the problem by enabling all of the options in control panel -> system -> advanced system settings -> advanced tab -> performance settings



i had a bunch of these disabled, now that they are all enabled i am no longer experiencing the problem. not sure what was causing it.

it move the table with this window name into a slot:
Lock Poker - Greyhound Room - Super Turbo (32951409) - Table 1

how do I just make sure "Greyhound Room - Super Turbo" move into slot without moving "Lock Poker - Greyhound Room - Super Turbo (32951409) - Table 1"?

Also, If windows name doesn't have a title, can I still move it into slot?

Wrapping text in "^___$" means that the expression has to match the entire string of characters.
If you use the Details Grabber, it will shows you the title and class you can control a window.
