Grrr edit. Okay so I was testing it out with some random HU tables where I was sitting out, everything works fine. Then I sit down at a 6-max table buy-in etc. and boom it doesn't snap into any of the slots, I am sooooo lost...

Hi, so I've been using PlaceMint for a while now and I have just come across two issues:

1. FTP draw games escape the Full Tilt regex. There are a lot of them, but if someone has a "complete" FT regex I'd greatly appreciate it. As an example:

Ridgegrove (6 max, ante) - $0.05/$0.10 Ante - No Limit 2-7 Single Draw - Logged in as SWeblin

The others are [No] Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, Limit Badugi, [No/Pot] Limit 5 Card Draw, Limit A-5 Triple Draw. I don't know if it matters, but some of these appear in the 10-game mix:

Jungle (6 max) - 10-game - $1/$2 - No Limit 2-7 Single Draw - Logged in as SWeblin

2. I just updated to v3.0, and what happened is pokerstars windows started constantly stealing focus. As in if I were to click any window, PS window[s] would instantly take focus again. With two PS windows open, I would have to use task manager to get control back. It turned out that Send F5 was somehow doing this, even though I had that option selected before using v2.1 without problem. Now with Send F5 disabled my PS windows are resizing properly too! Not sure why this happened...

It is possible that the way Serious Keys clicks the time bank button could cause an issue with PlaceMint detecting a drag. It would require testing to know for sure. Can you try dragging windows between slots when Serious Keys is not running?

I will take a look at the Full Tilt expression when I have time. It will likely not be until later this weekend.
I don't believe anything changed with how I was sending F5. However, I was focused on other things, so I might just be forgetting it. However, you said it is resizing properly, so hopefully they fixed the issue and F5 is not required anymore. Can others confirm/deny this?

I'm trying to use Placemint but it looks confusing as hell and can't find step by step instructions on how to set it up. Here is what I want:

I'm playing on AP and want designated slots on my monitors of my poker tables. I don't want any of the tables to move unless I swap them myself manually. The reason why I'm looking for software is that for some reason when I press the tile button on AP, 4 of my tables are tiled on my primary monitor and 2 of them go to my secondary monitor and I want ALL 6 of them to be tiled on my primary monitor or whatever way I choose.

So Ive been playing with this for the last few hours. Great stuff!

My question is this:

I have single 24" monitor
I play stars and FTP tourneys

I would like six slots that are smallish and two that are bigger. Like the layout drawn out in the very first few posts of this thread.


So far I can get 9 equal size (overlapping) tiles to function well and this is only when i use the default FullTill window tile to define the size.


How do I get the smaller little tables to work?

Great program!

I'm playing on AP. How come all the tables seem to flicker especially the Lobby?
I'm using this with madlion's serious keys and have enabled the lobby always open option. Anytime i open a table they go to the correct location BUT my lobby and the table start flickering for about 1-2 sec especially the lobby.

Any way to get rid of the flickering or a way that you can add an "AP Lobby always open option" to Placemint if madlion's program is the problem?

Program looks great and I had it set up OK.

Edit: Switched on debug, looked like the error was in the slot template xml, deleted it and everything seems to be working again.

Now it loads fine but I can't edit the configuration because of a wrongXmlFormatException - I'd guess that when I created my config or edited it there was a problem saved into the regex xml.

Any ideas what I should do next other than recreate the set-up? (logfile below)

Unless you have SendF5 selected, this should not be because of anything from PlaceMint. If you make a window group for the lobby and uncheck Minimize, PlaceMint will restore any window that is detects is minimized.

Pastor,
The file you have selected as the Slot Template List is not a slot template xml. You can go in the Options Window and make sure it is trying to read in the correct file.
The configuration being edited is always the one you currently have loaded and running in PlaceMint. Adding the name would not be too hard, so I might add it.

OK, I tried unchecking minimize and it didn't work. HOWEVER, when I just uncheck "size", the flickering problem went away! =) I have no idea what unchecking "size" does.

Now I have a smaller problem but still annoying.
My AP Replayer every once in a while randomly goes to a slot from another group (my poker tables group). It's easily solved by closing the replayer and re-opening it but I have no idea what causes it. This can get annoying. I like to keep the replayer open, it's in a group all by itself, how can i make it NEVER move? Shouldn't that be the case because it's in a separate group all by itself? A friend of mine is having the EXACT same problem at UB.

Unchecking Size means that PlaceMint will not force the window to be the size specified by the slot. Many poker clients allow resizing, but require that the window keep the same aspect ratio. The flickering could be coming from PlaceMint fighting with the client over this. PlaceMint changes the size to what the slot setting is, then the client sees that the aspect ratio is not correct and changes to a size it likes, which causes PlaceMint to change the size of the window again.

You should make sure that the expressions you are using to match titles/classes do not have an overlap. If a window satisfies the matching requirements for 2 groups, there is no guarantee about which group it will be placed in.

Thanks for making this amazing peice of software. It is excellent. I found the wiki page had all the information I needed to get the program up and running. Today however I am having trouble. I will continue to play around with it but am wondering if full tilts software update could have anything to do with it. The reason I suspect this is I tried another site which still works fine.

Does placemint work on a mac? Nevermind saw there isnt.

When i use placemint 2.1, there is option in configure if you want to check the "Enabled" box. This is allowed me to set up different size and number of tables per the same poker size, and i can enable one and disable another one.

However in version 3.0.2.0, there is not such option (at least I could not find), please help.

Making separate configurations is a better solution and allows for quicker switching between set ups.

why? i don't understand. in the past, i just need to Tools/Configure, from Configure windows, i can enable any groups or uncheck the "Enabled" for any groups. There are four, i can have five stars groups with 6, 9 and 12 tables.

In the new 3.x, i have to make second .exe, close one instance of placemint, and launch another one, and each one only can support one group per poker site. please help here

You don't need to make a second .exe. Make one configuration with 6 slots and save that. Then edit the configuration to have 9 slots and save as to make a second configuration file. And then close the configuration window. Then use the File menu to load both of the configurations. You can now use the Recent File menu to quickly switch between 6 and 9 slots. Make more configuration files as needed.

I guess I'm doing something simple wrong. I have used this programme for well over a year but want to change the use to just grab all tourneys and sngs on Ipoker. My cash Ipoker works fine.
