FEATURE REQUEST:

I would love a feature that allowed for the creation of something like "equity buckets" in aggregated reports.

What I mean by equity buckets is having Pio identify what proportion of OOP's and IP's range falls within some manually determined bracket of equity. For example, I could identify two buckets, "0%-30%" and "75%-100%", and could display for any given flop in a report a percentage of each player's range that falls within each bracket.

Some folks may recognize this from GTOx, and it's a quick way to identify something like "nut advantage" or how dense one or another range is with weak hands on any given board.

Aggregated reports give me options for a lot of metrics that don't really plug into a good, quick intuition for the incentives of a spot, but something like equity buckets would really be a boon.

Hi all- GTO noob here.

Just got Pio Pro.

My question is on ranges. Is there a way to buy/download and import all the GTO ranges for all the common spots? Having those templates would make using Pio so much better for me. Otherwise I’m trying to guess ranges or I’m looking up ranges from a variety of different websites and it’s really tedious.

What does everyone else do?

A few questions if I may, was asking on discord but I guess it got drowned in the stream of messages.

1. What is the reason the range percentages and combo counts in range explorer change when I click on a certain action ?

2. Is it possible to show the frequencies on the grid as % rather than fractions? And if so, how?

3. I really wan to understand and read more about the difference in algorithms, my comp is decent enough to run the old algorithm , I am trying to understand which is more precise and what are the advantages of each

4. Frequency vs one combo - Would it be correct to say that when looking at OOP and selecting a combo in the box it basically assumes how would the frequencies change for OOP when IP holds this combo given blocking properties without OOP 'knowing' IP holds this combo right now (which would make his range 100% this combo I guess). If it makes any sense.

5. Also, I've seen in range explorer the term 'real' ranges, would like to understand better what this means.

Hi all..trying to run an aggregated report but get following message "Unknown location of current tree. To run multiple files aggregation report you should load a file from a directory with several input files"...can anyone explain?....

Hey guys - I couldn't find any information re: this on the Pio website, so I'm assuming the answer is likely no but I'll ask anyway - does Pio run on Linux based systems? Is it possible to run it on a Linux based system in any way?

So, I'm running a script for 256 flops, and my system's CPU utilization (it's 32 cores, 64 with hyperthreading) hasn't gone above 32%. Is this normal? Maybe this has to do with the particular type of trees that I'm running? It's just that 32% seems really low and most of the time it's hovering in the 28-32% range. The number of cores setting under Tools -> Configuration is '0' for the OS default and I haven't changed it. But is there something I can do? Something I should do? Do I even need to do anything?

Hey. Just ran a couple of scripts with all possible flops for the respective spots. I selected small saves, but I realize now that it takes way too much space. Is it possible to change all the sims to micro saves without re-running the entire scripts?

Is it possible to change the default folder where Pio looks for preflop charts in the Preflop Charts Generator? I'd like to change it from C drive to an external harddrive I have that's got lots of preflop charts saved on it.

If i nodelock opp. range OTR to deviate very drastically the EV's change on prior streets such as turn and flop, but the frequencies don't change as drastically why is this?

Bought pio solver basic sometimes ago , didnt activate then, and now my registration key seems to not work anymore. Send an email few days ago at the support and no answer yet .

I recently upgraded to PIO 2.0 and I cannot node lock a range with weights anymore. Basically what I request is to add weights to the locked range.

When I input a range with weights like this:



The program is rounding every hand to 100% and this is what we get:

Exactly the samething happening here. Stuck at 28-32% CPU and usually it went to 100%. 64 threads here too.

Could anyone explain how to nodelock?
When i do that, it runs something in between range i locked and the original 'gto' range.
Why would that be ?

I have 2 options- set strategy and lock node, or
Set strategy lock node old style pio
Neither one works

anyone know what im doing wrong here w the nodelocking? ive asked someone who does a ton of pio work and he thinks what im doing is correct and is stumped by what's going on here. gyazo gif so you see the entire process of what im doing

Hi, does anyone know how I can use the preflop solver (edge) to build a tree where the root node is SB's action after BTN 4bets? So BTN opens, SB 3bets and BTN 4bets, I have a specified range for SB 3bet and BTN 4bet, I would just like to solve SB's response to the BTN 4bet range, and give SB the option to call the 4bet or 5bet all in. How can I do this?

When I have hand2note open I can’t open pio because it says it detected some poker site, it’s weird because when I forget I have stars lobby open it never says that

Is it OK to use small save trees for GTO trainer or must we use full save trees for this new feature?
