I have my psql databases on a linux server and your install bombs when looking for the psql service on my windows box, which I dont have nor need. I run HEM and pt fine so can you remove this roadblock on the install?

Cheers for this - I am the biggest tilt monkey on ipoker and cant wait to start using this product. Last night i just blew 12 buyins within a 2hr session, and tilt definitely ended up playing its role (as usual) during the backend of the session. My graph over the last 50k hands has about six of these -10 buyin spikes, each one happening within a couple hundred hands :/

('session peak' at the start is your buy in amount, obviously)
Only when this functionality is added will this product make sense.
Once it is added, soon I hope, I would buy it for sure.
Without trailing stops, the product is very limited, and I would not pay for it.
I hope you add trailing stops soon.
Thanks.
Yep, this would be IDEAL.

is the postgresSQL 8.4 compatible release still due out today?
02-27-2010 , 01:35 PM
Got it working with 8.4 installing but it seems to be causing some problems with the running of the program but its nothing to hard to fix by the look of it. I'm away tomorrow so it will probably be Monday

Thanks

patiently waiting for 8.4 support

hopefully it comes out before my trial is over

PostgreSQL 8.4 support now out

Download from http://www.tiltdemon.com/trial.html

I didnt get a chance to update the manual so ill probably get to that tomorrow. If you do have any issues add all the exe's in the Tiltdemon folder to your exceptions list in your firewall and also set them to run as admin if your using Vista or Windows 7 and then uninstall and reinstall it and it should be fine.

Theres quite a few exe's in the tiltdemon folder to add so im going to write a batch script that does this for you automatically tomorrow to save you time but for now youll need to add exceptions manually.

You might not need to do this unless youve issues and im also going to write a step by step guide for all the major firewall programs for anyone having issues with them, for the most part people shouldnt have too much issues.

Let me know how it runs, ran perfect for me on a couple of different systems with 8.4
03-02-2010 , 12:20 PM
have you removed the psql service check from the install yet?
03-02-2010 , 01:02 PM
new update still doesn't work for me. i set it to block me after i play two hands and it didn't work. i have HEM running and importing and I uninstalled the previous version of tiltdemon before I installed the new release. think you can do a teamviewer later?
03-02-2010 , 01:03 PM
No i didnt get around to that, ill replace it with a prompt to warn users that postgreSQL isnt installed and are you sure you want to continue, that should do the trick for you?

i keep getting this error when i open the loss/won program:

SyntaxFromSQL caused these errors:
SQLSTATE = 42601
ERROR: syntax error at or near "AND";
No query has been executed with that handle

SELECT tscrec FROM playerhandscashkeycolumns WHERE player_id IN ( SELECT player_id FROM players WHERE ( lower( playername), site_id) IN ( ('undefeatable1'

Tilt Demon will now exit.

email sent btw

Hey, could tiltdemon be interfering with my PGADMIN maintenance of HEM?
I just purged my database, went to PGadmin to carry out the vacuum/analyse, but it wont finish! It starts fine but does not finish.

This is the first time this has happened, and the only changes i made to my setup since last V/A is tiltdemon and n9 betpot - just wanted to know if this has happened anyone else?
03-02-2010 , 04:11 PM
Id be very surprised, several programs should be able to use PostgreSQL at the same time. Try creating a new database and reimporting a few hands into that and test if it will vacuum that one.

I tried starting server, restarting server, starting by pgadmin and nothing happen at all.
When it will be repaired? Or maybe I cannot start service? I don't see the file how2start Service.pdf in folder either.

Thanks
Even after update I've got that ugly problem...

Is postgreSQL starting for you? Is Holdem Manager working fine and importing hands?

Hi,

there has been a couple of issues with the new version, its working fine for some and not for others, im trying to track down what the actual issue is

FishWithWish can you pm me and maybe we can arrange a TV session to see your problem?

Just to let everyone know weve made changes to the purchasing option

Now instead of €39.99 for the yearly subscription as the only option you can now have 2 options

1) Lifetime License (€39.99 one time fee)
2) Yearly Subscription (€19.99 yearly recurring fee)

Hope that offers some flexibility

Regarding the latest 8.4 fix some people have had issues with it and others not, i think i have the fix now just waiting on replies so i can confirm it and ill add the fix to the next build. I can manually fix this if you want to contact me and do a teamviewer session until the fix is out.

Next release includes the following:
Trailing Stop Loss
Alarm option instead of lockout
Ability to change the lockout countdowns via settings
Bug fix for 8.4 postgres version some people had
Use a "please install postgresql before continuing" message to the installer for people with linux to avoid installer hanging

A few questions/suggestions about this:

- Will it be possible to have different alarms depending on what "goal" is reached? For instance, I'd like to have a different sound for when a hand goal is reached, compared to a stop loss limit.

- Will it be possible to set our own custom alarm sounds? I need something mild and soothing for when my stop loss limit is reached or it'll just tilt me even more
03-04-2010 , 10:30 AM
Id appreciate suggestions on this, do you want a visual alarm, a sound alarm or both, if a visual alarm comes up do you want it to repopup every x amount of mins to nag you or just once for information rather than to nag?

Different alarms and configurable alarm sounds is definitely a good idea, ill get the option to select whatever sound you want into the next versions but being able to choose different alarms depending on which stop loss you hit ill leave to the one after that so i can get this one out as quick as possible.

Once this release is out and bug free, I will buy a lifetime license and tell everyone I know who plays on-line to do the same.

Thanks
PS I know you don't like this but: ETA? -Ballpark?

Well i only don't like people asking because i always miss the deadline

I'll estimate 3-5 days but my programmer had a family bereavement recently so its hard to be anymore accurate than that at the moment

One more bug has cropped up, it happens while installing v1.1 and again only happens to some people

So far ive only seen it with 8.3 so let me know if it happens with 8.4, heres the error

PowerBuilder Application Execution Error (R0020). Application
terminated. Error: Database command has not been successfully
prepared

Well get that fixed in the next version

Ideally I'd like a sound alarm and one of them fancy bubbles that'll pop up and then fade away from an icon on the taskbar (or just from that general direction) saying what goal has been reached and by how much.

Maybe an option for whether or not you want it to keep nagging you and the possibility to input the number of hands you want between each reminder?
