Filtering

I noticed your post saying filters would be fixed in next update but I noticed that cap filtering had not been implemented in the most recent HEM Scanner.

I am sure you have spotted it, but despite FT having completely altered things, the Window Title is still visible to apps like Window Spy and all CAP tables have the string

"[space] CAP [space] No Limit" in the title which hopefully makes a filter fairly easy to implement.

The presence of CAP tables in the list is a real pain

Cheers

Re: New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye

Is spade eye light prohibited at FT? Because I have seen it in a list of prohibited software recently but I can't find that list right now.

SpadeEye Light is not prohibited,
and SpadeEye "non-light" should no more be prohibited too,
since the FTP client doesn't write handhistories of observed tables to disk anymore...

"...SpadeEye Light is not prohibited in its current form. There was some confusion at first, but it's been cleared up and there isn't a problem using it.

Yes, but I need that info from the lobby and not an open table.
Or do I miss something?

Looks like getting the CAP/Deep/Ante/etc. info from the lobby is harder to retrieve than I thought.
It will take a few days to do some research on that...

I know that FTPDoug said that back in april but I found this a week or 2 ago and it clearly says that spade eye is a prohibited program.

So what is going on with this?

No I missed it. Obviously you can't open/close every table to test

There is probaly the letter C shown next to the number of players. I don't know how you read the graphical lobby but the new version with no focus steal is probably too fast for OCR. If you are looking at memory, is the C not written there somewhere?

Good luck

Yeah, that's what I expected to see,
but first attempts looked like it isn't

The website talks about "SpadeEye" and not "SpadeEye Light".
Take a closer look at FTPDougs post, and you'll see he says:
"SpadeEye is prohibited, but SpadeEye Light isn't."

Thanks

Did you get confiramtion directly from FT about spade eye light.

I understand but it is kind of confusing since FT but spade eye in there prohibited program list and there is no possible way to datamine at FT now. I think they prohibited spade eye causse of the datamining.

So what is the diffrence between spade eye and spade eye light today playing at FT?

Do the FT tables with a certain name consistently have a deepstack, Cap, educational, ante etc. status

i.e. Genie @ $2/$4 NL 6 max is a cap table at the moment - is it always a cap table?

If this is the case a quick and dirty solution for filtering until the mysterious data is found could be to:-

Use your system to create a look-up table.

You can already read table names from memory and can move to that line because the program opens tables by moving down the lobby to the required table.

If you set up a routine to scan for table names then do a pixel search to see if it is a cap table and, if so, add the table name and the cap status to a look up table.

New table names are created as the need requires so if you ran your routine to detect any new names you could extend the table from time to time.

When you scan you can simply reference the look up table via the table name to see if it is of the type we want. If not - reject. If the name is not in the table you can either temporarily exit "memory mode" to do an OCR for that table name or you can simply ignore the table and add it to the results list exactly as now.

Q&D for sure but I suspect easy to code.

Silly idea?

Yeah, already thought about the same idea, but I hope to find a more elegant way.

Been doing some research on the new FullTilt client the past week...
It's pretty time consuming while making only little progress.

Right now I think about using OCR to detect the CAP/Deep/etc. flag...

My personal ETA is this weekend.

OCR/focus stealing is a disaster if you are trying to play a lot of tables and use AHK scripts (e.g. poker short cuts). Can you please make an option to use no OCR?

It's not the OCR that steals your focus

Give it a try with version 3.21:
http://spadeit.com/download.php#notes

- Fixed Cap/Deep/Speed filter for FullTilt.
- Added support for FullTilt "standard view"-lobby.
The Cap/Deep/Speed filter will not work with the "standard" lobby,
but you can use the standard lobby view itself to hide the cap/deep tables...
- Fixed "Open" / "Join" for FullTilt.

Re: Filtering

Beta was working fine for me before this last update, but running a scan now crashes both the full tilt client + spade eye.

XP pro, HEM, Spade Eye v3.21d Beta, and not much else running. On FT, I'm using standard view and I have several LHE limits selected under the My Ring Game Favorite thing.

Re: New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye

@ DougG:
- Important for FullTilt: Do not customize the panel to the right side in the standard lobby view.
(The one where the open/join buttons and playerlist is).
Just leave that to "default".

Would be nice to have the option to see what table we are waiting on at FT.

I just notice if you re-join a table you were already waiting on it remove you of the waiting list.

Re: New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye

I noticed the table list in EyePoker after scanning gives a score to each table, but that score is always 0. What is this and how should it work please?
