I have completely re-coded the FullTilt part.
It doesn't use OCR anymore, and it should be working as before the recent FullTilt update.
Means:
- No more focus steal
- Faster scans
- Faster open/join
etc...

It's the very first beta and I don't expect it to run 100% stable.
I need your feedback to achieve that,
but try it with care.
It can probably crash your FullTilt client.
So please be gentle unless you want to find a problem

Seems to be working really well. My first scan was kind of slow, but I ran it again and the second one is pretty fast. Not sure why that is.

BUG: When I click on a table in SE, it gets opened. I have the options selected to put me on the waitlist not open it.

Seems very promising.

One problem is that CAP tables aren't being filtered out even though I de-selected them in the filter

I guess your database is pretty big.
That's some old SpadeEye drawbacks coming from the fact,
that it's not multithreaded by design...

Thank you for the prompt and full reply, Snood. As usual, it was simple - as you said, excluding default tables. Fine now, except for one thing. All OK with PT dbase, but when I try to use the aggregate dbase it reacts as if it had no data (I have used the update button)

Working great form me.

Thanks for the hard work.

Used it all day today and found it sexy as hell. This re-written program without OCR is SO much better. I wonder why it wasn't written like this from the beginning. No problems for me so far.

Just as a reminder to add Mr.Snood:

1) Speed table labels
2) Something to indicate which tables I have open. (Bold text or color)
3) Auto add to waitlist

Thx for a great job!

Any plans for this? I think it could be a lot faster, at least on my quadcore, if you have a new thread for every database query.

Sorry, that's no more possible for SpadeEye.
It's a 3 years old design and you can't change the fundament without destroying the whole house...

Someone pointed me to a new way to Mecca that I didn't know exist

The Scanning works fine but the datamining gives an error:

Is this intentional?

Datamining FullTilt is no more possible with SpadeEye since FullTilt doesn't write the handhistories of observed tables to disk anymore.

So there is NO way of datamining fulltilt?
that would explain why nobody answers @ HH*********** and why im not getting any hands for download...

You sent your request to "support@hh***********"?
Datamining FullTilt is running as usual.
Fixed limit FullTilt, and most PLO stakes are missing currently,
but No Limit Holdem is still being datamined as before the recent FullTilt updates.

is ur new beta the attempt to combat zandry's turbo scanner? just curious. haven't d/led it. in fact i haven't even upgraded to the new beta full tilt. i'm going to wait until it is "fixed" before playing on FT again.
07-19-2009 , 05:06 PM
@Mr_Snood

It was a micro fixed limit request which isnt served by ******** although i was listed.
I got a refund now...

Could you elaborate on the method currently used to datamine fulltilt because it looks like i need to do it myself since my current limit isnt served by any of the major hand dealers...

@meleader2
Right now the SpadeEye beta uses a superior technique than OCR to scan the FullTilt lobby.
Thus it's faster and more comfortable than any OCR approach.

@rubyonrails
Sorry can't give any details about that.

Impressed with the beta, seems as fast as ever now. Opening tables may even be faster. It isn't excluding CAP tables or adding me to the waiting list (which you know) but otherwise seems great.
07-19-2009 , 09:49 PM
Also does not seem to notice which tables I already have open on subsequent scans.
07-19-2009 , 10:22 PM
Just crashed the client in the middle of a scan on me. Vista 64bit, quad-core, ton of ram etc.
07-20-2009 , 03:14 AM
Sven, nice work so far. Keep up the good work.

On FTP, the scan works well as I am playing several tables with HEM running in the background....and HUD of course.

SpadeEye Lite does not update the hands for me. If a player starts with 500 hands, I can play hours on the table with him and he still shows 500 in SpadeEye....while HUD shows total ( 942 as an example ).

I then shut down SpadeEye and restart. The player will now shows 942 hands in SpadeEye.

Any way to make it update player data throughout play?

Thanks again for all the work that you put into this program...and others.

Yep this seems to work and, as you know, is massively better than tablescanner at present - which is unusable

a) Spadeye is picking up cap tables even though I have them filtered out
b) progress bar screwed up (not important)
c) some colour code indicating we are on the wait list would be very helpful

cheers

1) Cap games are still included, but I also get random full ring games as well
2) Doesn't show if I'm already sitting on a table/have the table open when rescanning

Other than that it has been pretty solid; one crash earlier, but hasn't happened since through 4+ hours of play and probably 30 scans.

I upgraded to the 3.20 beta and it was working fine for me, although I haven't tried it out at full speed (6-8 tables) yet. I haven't been able to use SpadeEye over the last couple of days because it's asking for a new registration key because the "trial" period is over. I sent an e-mail to support but haven't heard back.
