Thanks Mr snood, all sorted! Didnt realise tables had to be sorted by stakes

Another problem is this.

I have a huuuuuge party db, so decided to start another one for stars.

So, i start another pt3 db, etc, plug it into telescope, then i get an

3Failed ERROR relation players does not exist

Not sure what that is, or what it means. Also, all players stats are coming up as zero, so i am doing something wrong!

You set the "type" in "Main->options->databases" to "PokerTracker postgreSQL",
but you need to set it to "pokertracker 3" instead.

Remove your database from Telescope and re-add it with the correct "type" please
07-24-2008 , 06:16 AM
Thanks mr snood, i did that because i am a ******!

Have you ever thought of listing all the particular dbs available after one chooses hem/pt2/pt3 dbs? It would be very user friendly and save a lot of typing as well! Sometimes the name we call them is different to the PT3_2008_07_23_190831 that telescope requires

Another thing, in telescope, when i sort the tables by 'score' some seem to be sorted that way, then there is a heap of zeros, then some more are sorted properly

Also, any chance of moving the scoring column back to where it is in spadeye? I think it looks much there

Also, with the new 50bb min tables at stars, can we add another column for that? Be nice to be able to just check those out!

did Josh's recent db changes for beta 15 of PT3 break SpadeEye support?
07-24-2008 , 07:59 PM
Did you get everything set up with Phil for PokerEV support? It is supposed to be out before the end of the month.

Why another column?
Don't you want a filter to just scan/dismiss those type of tables?

I updated to 2.86 and now SpadeEye won't scan any of the jackpot or speed tables for me.
07-25-2008 , 11:00 AM
Did you reconfigure your SpadeEye filter?
(did check to scan jackpot and speed tables?)

What pokerroom do you try to scan?
07-25-2008 , 11:06 AM
I didn't go at the filters.
How do I check to scan jackpot and speed?

Party Poker (1/2 and 2/4 if it matters).
07-25-2008 , 11:15 AM
Take a closer look at the SpadeEye "filter" please.
There is a checkbox on top for "jackpot" and "speed" tables.
Check them both
07-25-2008 , 11:23 AM
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, working again. Thanks .
07-25-2008 , 02:16 PM
I had the same problem and this solved it.
I had not changed anything, the update to 2.86 must have been responsible.

I am not able to scan tables (I haven't updated spadeeye for ages, and did it recently, everything was working fine with the old version). The database seems to be set to PokerTracker 3 with correct username/password and other stuff but I get the following error:

ERROR: ERROR: relation "hhps" does not exist
QueryECLARE myportal CURSOR FOR SELECT sum (hhps.hands), SUM (won),
SUM(vpip), SUM(pfr), SUM(faf), SUM(taf), SUM(raf), SUM(fcall), SUM(tcall),
SUM(rcall), SUM(showdown), SUM(wonhand), SUM(sawflop) FROM hhps WHERE player_name LIKE 'Anytime_2323'

and then

Your database is probably not configured correct with SpadeEye
.BEGIN command failed: ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands
ignored until end of transaction block

Help?

Looks like you enabled the SpadeEye "PT3 Aggregator", but the aggregator database is missing.

Please run "PT3 Aggregator->update database" in SpadeEye.
Then retry to scan.
Or uncheck "PT3 Aggregator->use aggregator database".

thanks!

Yep, either would be good, but it would also be nice to be able to have another column to find/avoid the short stackers

My OS is Vista, I am running as administrator and I'm using the trial version of Spadeeye.

When I use the dataminer, there are 2 issues:

1) Doesn't appear to be closing tables when the number of players drops below 4 as I have specified. Tables remain open but empty.

2) This may be due to 1), but Spadeye locks up after a little while. Don't know how long it takes. I invoke Task Manager and it shows that it is not responding.

I have checked the options to ensure that I have the dataminier configured properly and I can see nothing wrong.

Any ideas?

Mr. Snood,

Can you make Spade Eye save the resize information? Like if I change the size of the window or the size of the 3 main areas I would like it to look the same when I open it the next time. Thanks.
08-07-2008 , 03:28 AM
One thing which annoys me for a while yet... sometimes I switch to the "tournament" tab to check something, while datamining is running for example.

For some reason spadeeye still finds the cashgame table names, but can not join them and than opens "empty tables" without caption or content. When switching back I first have to close all these manually otherwise I will get "too many tables open".

Can Spadeeye detect that the wrong view is open and just not open anything? Or something like that...
08-07-2008 , 06:05 AM
so Spade Eye is both a dataminer and a fish finder? Is it compatible with Full Tilt? If not, what are my options for a table selecter/fish finder?
