Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

** I'm datamining Full Tilt and I know that I can set it up so that it will close if there are less than x players seated and open if x players seated. One concern I have is I don't want it to datamine if 6 people are seated but 4 of them are sitting out! In this case will SpadeEye close the table? I'm hoping that SITTING OUT will not count towards player count. If it does, I think it's important to somehow include this in your software. Thanks.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Currently there is no difference between playing or sitting out.

This would be something for the ToDo list...

Currently im very busy with the Stars support.
It's looking good up to now.
The support for Stars will not be that comfortable like the other Pokerrooms, but it will be better than nothing.
I suggest you to read stars' T&C right now and put your stars support plan on hold. I just read it and another similar app has been blocked by stars.

If you add stars support, i think almost certain your app will be blocked soon, which means when i play on stars, i can not run your app to scan table on other sites.
i think as long as SpadeEye isn't datamining, i don't think stars will care.

I thought so too, but then why Sixth Sense is banned from Stars?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

This is in regards to players "Sitting Out" not counted towards player count when auto opening and closing.

I know you are very busy but out of all the options you are working on, I believe this to be VERY important and number one on the list to add!! I would not be happy playing w/ stats and seeing a VPIP of 75% but it was played HU w/ 3 others sitting out!! Can you please make this a priority? Other Full Tilt options I believe are a distant 2nd to this problem.

Thank you.

not sure, i would assume because they are getting sent the lobby data from a central server.

farther up it says:
---------------
Q. In general, what kind of programs are acceptable?

A.

1. Programs (or charts) that simply tell you odds, starting hand recommendations, etc.
2. Programs that profile your opponents, but make use of only information which you have accumulated by your own play.
----------

so i would assume SpadeEye (not datamining) would fall clearly under #2

When I datamine FullTilt, it doesn't automatically close tables if it falls between a certain number of players, etc. Am I doing something wrong? Everything is in place under the options tab.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Just dowloaded the 1.63 version and it seems to crash. I tried it twice. Under options, I set to 16 tables, open tables w/ min 6 players, close tables w/ less than 6 players. After it starts to auto datamine, after about a minute, I get disconnected and my internet shuts down and I get an error message from SpadeEye saying "Poker client not found." and this error message WILL NOT GO AWAY. I try to close it but it doesn't close, I go to task manager and nothing happens and I'm forced to restart my computer.

Is it crashing b/c I upgraded to a new version and I'm still in trial mode?

If I check Minimize Tables under Datamining, it doesn't minimize. Doesn't seem to work, maybe you just haven't gotten around to it for Full Tilt yet.

What does "Start in background" under Datamining do?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

I think i should spend more time in error handling...

I have found the bug.
I uploaded a fixed version 1.64...
As you know FullTilt support has been added 3 days ago.
So i am sorry that it may be a bit buggy in the first versions.
I had not the time to test every possible combination of settings...

The "minimize" checkbox is applied only every ~30 seconds.
So it may take some time till a check will take effect...

"Start in background" is useless when using with FullTilt,
i have greyed out this option...

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Hard to say.

Can you reproduce this bug or does it always happen?
Can you email me a screenshot of your filter in SpadeEye with some ansers to support@spadeit.com?

Do you use ProcessGuard?
Is there a valid tablelist visible in the FullTilt software?

I'm not sure if you are refering to my problems but yes, I do use process guard. Should I not?

Also, I just want to say how much I appreciate your hard work and timely responses. I have spread good word about your software so many of my friends will be purchasing from you. Thank you.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Make sure ProcessGuard is not blocking SpadeEye .

To retrieve the tablelist from the pokerclient,
SpadeEye must have access to the pokerclient process memory.
The Screenshot you posted looks "strange".
I do not have ProcessGuard, but i could imagine it would look like this

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Just want to ask you something about the previous request of not counting people "sitting out" for opening and closing tables.

It just occurred to me that it wouldn't affect my data because under poker tracker Full Tilt Observed Hands tab, you can specify --> Only import hands w/ x number or more players.

If this is set, I don't have to worry about HU or 3 handed hands getting tracked in poker tracker. Am I correct here?

I GUESS ON SECOND THOUGHT, IT WOULDN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE B/C PT WOULD STILL IMPORT HANDS W/ PLAYERS SITTING OUT.

HMMM....Am I the only one here who thinks this is a BIG issue?

Let's say you datamine b4 you go to bed and a ton of hands are played HU or 3 handed and you use those stats later, it will be VERY INACCURATE!

This guy who you think is loose might be tight but just played HU for the last 6 hours and your stats are all messed up!

CAN YOU PLEASE ADD SUPPORT TO THIS ASAP?? Thank you.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

I'm not sure if PT would solve this problem.
Depends on the counting of PT or the handhistory format (are players sitting out included or not)...

But in Pokerace you can specify a "player range" filter,
which maybe could solve this problem, too?

I need to sleep on this...

@Hoopster81
Gimme 2 days

UB is somthing for the future.
Maybe in 2 weeks.
When everything is doing fine with FullTilt / Absolute / ParadisePoker and Stars i can try to expand to UB or Prima...

Sounds good.

SpadeEye doesn't let you datamine Paradise - does it?

We really need to get a Paradise miner.

See "Client" menu in SpadeEye and set it to "FullTiltPoker"

I put some FAQs here:
