Does anyone else having such a big resource problem when datamining FTP?

Can you see in the task manager if probably FullTilt or SpadeEye are using much CPU or RAM?

Depends on what you are interessted in.
There are several datamining + tableselection apps out there.
SpadeEye offers both in one at a cheaper price.
SpadeEye offers datamining and tableselection at Partypoker, EmpirePoker, FullTiltPoker.
SpadeEye offers tableselection at AbsolutePoker, VegasPoker247 and Big Chip Poker.


E.g. Idleminer FullTilt costs $55 and offers only datamining FTP, while SpadeEye supports datamining Party-/EmpirePoker, too.
E.g. The SixthSense tableselection tool even costs a monthly fee,
while SpadeEye is a one time fee (all future upgrades included).


Yes, it is a common that such tools require a database application like PokerTracker or HoldemManager.
They take care of saving a players statistics by importing the datamined handhistories....


SpadeEye is probably not that easy to configure for a software novice.

Nope my first time using it to Datamine with the latest version.

I used PT3 and afterwards imported these tmp files manually. No autoimport, but it is PT3 problem - I can choose only one folder for FTP data.

BTW, Eye for FTP got frozen after 20-25 min of running. I left it running for night and at the morning found it frozen. Mined only 70 hands. System is winXP Sp2, 16 tables were opened.

It's when I'm running an interval scan, I'm not datamining but I am importing hands at the same time.

"Start in Background" option completely greyed out, even when I first start up. Is this happening to anyone else? v2.77

There are no plans on adding UB support.

Its newly greyed out when using SpadeEye with FullTiltPoker.
As "background mode" is useless on FullTilt...

hey snood i just bought this thing from u and am having A REALLY hard time setting it up... like tis all set up but i just bought holdem manager also and now i cant seem to synch them... is their a way we can get in contact so u can help me figure it out?.... my email is freshmonkey69@hotmail.com. i just cnat seem to get anything to work and when i input the database info into the options menu i get a FATAL error....

when im fillin in my info under the database in the options menu im using holdem manager i get something that says "connection to database failed" fatal" database holdem manager does not exist" what does this mean... and is it niecessary for me to have this area set up to datamine and use spade eye?

Try the following setting in "Main->options->databases":
type: "Holdem Manager"
host: "localhost"
port: 5432
database: "HoldemManager" (it's case sensitive)

okay thanks so i got my info in their but now how come when i go to hit datamining start automatcic it opens up a huge number of tables but no numbers are being inputted into the main area?

any way to get SMS messages sent to our phones if a fish, after scanning, is found?

i want to run scans every 15 min and if a said player is found sitting i want to know so i can go home and stack him

Snood.. Seems to be a bug with 'datamining in the background'.. Once you click on 'Start in background' there is no way to stop it.. you have to restart the program..

I have had this occasionally, but only if I do a scan during the background datamine - the scan seems to cause the 'stop datamining' menu option to grey itself out. If I don't scan I can stop the background datamining normally. It doesn't do it every time I do a scan either, just sometimes (On Party, not tried this since I went to v2.77 though).

Using the latest telescope when I hit "get table list" it scrolls through the stars window, pops up the little "scan in progress" box and just hangs there at 0%.

well while scanning with version 2.77 on partypoker my computer freezes and i have to reboot. pretty annoying. it is possible to switch with tab + alt but i can't access any programm

Datamining only takes care of retrieving the handhistories of observed tables.

To see some numbers you need to "Scan" the tables...

before i see how work is going on in the next 4 weeks.
Any "alert system" that relies on the interval scan can be possible...

Don't worry it's already fixed, but i am waiting to solve another bug before i release it...

The "Get Table List" does not increase the Progress counter.

It's only there to be able to cancel it...

Does the "Get Table List" return any tables?
If "no" then most likely your Telescope Filter is not set correct.
Like did you select the correct stake?
