That's strange. It used to work but now double-clicking doesn't work at all, whether I have automatic datamining started or stopped.

Also, if we "start in background" the option to stop is blacked out.
Now (version 2.75b) once I start automatic datamining, the option to "start in background" is disabled - even if it is later stopped.

Then your database is most likely not added correct

Open "main->options->databases" please.
- Set "Type" to "PokerTracker 3"
- Set "Host" to "localhost"
- Set "Port" to "5432"
- Set "Database" to "PT3 DB"
- Set "Username" to "postgres"
- Set "Password" to "dbpass"

The above are the default PokerTracker 3 settings.
Maybe you set a different "Database"-name.
Then you need to take a closer look at "database->database management" in PokerTracker 3.
There you can see all your databases.
Important: You need to use the name from the most right column "database info".

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

@ Flynn
Basically you need to distinguish between datamining and tableselection.
Datamining takes care of reconstructing the handhistories of observed tables.
It is up to you, to import the reconstructed handhistories into a database.

Tableselection can be done via "scan all tables".
It lists the tables along with the players and their statistics.
Thus you can select to sit down at the tables you like most.

Unfortunately EyePoker is not able to select the stakes.
It always scans the currently visible tables.
So you have to switch the stake in the iPoker client on your own.

The sorting of the column "Stake" will be fixed.

The seatnumber are no real seatnumbers, as the real seatnumbers are not being displayed in the iPoker lobby. So up to now they make no sense...

I did exactly I you describe. Except the username and pass - I changed them from defaults when installed database engine, but I'm sure I entered them right. As per database name, I use trial of PT3, and by default I can operate the only database named "PT3 Beta DB2". I got this name from Holdem Managers database management function because trial of PT3 does not allow to manage databases. I think this name is correct cause only it could be added by clicking "Add Database" button in Eye.

But could it be done at the same time? E.g. I run scan, then I run datamining at appeared tables. As I understand Eye takes players' stats from PT3 database, and when I tableselect and datamine with autoimport to PT3 at the same time will I see updated player stats in Eye after every hand? Or I even dont have to import data into PT3 - Eye will calculate and updata all data by itself?
One more question. Can Eye datamine tournaments? If I open some table from particular tourney, will Eye collect data?
Sorry if my questions are cunfusing, I just want to be sure I understand principle of how soft works before I buy it

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Tried running scan with PT2 and HEM databases. Seems like Eye can retrieve some data from this databases but not for all players - I can see players on tables that I know for sure exist in database, but there is no stats on them in Eye, only zeroes
Also I go to PT2/PT3 or HEM open stats on player I datamined previously, open particular hand in replayer and see that all players on table have stacks of 100000.00. Do I have to adjust something in options?

Is scanning one time function, not real-time? If yes, please ignore question in bold

EyePoker/SpadeEye saves old scanresults for up to 20 minutes to boost performance.
During this interval no update of a players statistics will occur.
You can set this interval in "main->options->general->tablescanning".
Minimum is 5 minutes.

Not sure. EyePoker datamines all open tables.
I guess it can datamine tourneys, too.
Please give it a try

Unfortunately this is unavoidable.
EyePoker reconstructs the handhistories from the dealer messages in the chatwindow.
As the real stacksize is never mentioned, EyePoker can not reconstruct this value.
This is why it put a dummy value of 100000.00 as stacksize.

Yes, scanning is more like a one time function.
Nevertheless it depends on your database.
Thus you always have to import data into e.g. PT3 before EyePoker can find them at scanning.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

While scanning tables I noticed that Won amount for some players was to big for limits scanned. I cross checked in HEM and found particular player only at tournaments tab. This means Eye shows tourney stats for cash table which is not good imo. Anyhow make Eye use only cash games stats?

Yes, SpadeEye supports the default PokerTracker Access database, too.
See : http://www.spadeit.com/guide.php#access on how to add an Access database.
Just give it a try

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

I was having problems with HEM, so went back to PT3

I have 10 million or so hands, and spadeye keeps crashing!

It is so bad i need to scan open tables, and it wont get through a full round of 50nl tables

The problem seems to be when The action gets to me on the tables, and spadeye stops scanning the lobby, then crashes

Any ideas mr snood?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

ps - I have heaps of ram,opteron180 only running pt3 and party, SE, no viruses, and all up to date windows xp.

This is seriously driving me mad!

If I sit out at the tables, SE has a better chance of getting through the scan, but most times, it just gets 3/4 of the way though, then crashes

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Just remembered i have pt3 and postgres and party on E drive, and se on C.

Could this be causing my problems?

I would like to uninstall se, and reinstall it on my E drive, but dont want to lose my unique scoring system, etc.

Is there a way to save this/ export this, or can i copy a file in the spadeye directory so it will work the same as it used to?

There are a lot of files in the se directory and i dont know which would have my scoring stats on them!

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Ill answer my own problem, i think that you NEED to have SE on the same drive as pt and postgres.

Reinstalled se onto my e drive, where pt and pgsql live, and now have no probs!

Most likely.
Please give it a try with the latest SpadeEye version:
http://www.spadeit.com/download.php

and make sure you use latest HEM 1.05.09 (or newer) and converted your database to new 1.05.09 format...
