when datamining at party with v2.59 , the cpu usage is very high. Its like constantly using all cpu. Pretty much impossible to stop the scan without have to use the TaskManager. Any ideas?

Looks to me that its using MORE resources after i turned of the "Close table if X players with X amounts of hands is on the table" option. Really weird

This sounds pretty complicated and i am not sure what such a function is good for.
Isn't the aim of a tableselection tool to find the best available tables?
Why constrain on the open tables?
Thanks, my db wasnt listed correctly.

The function i thought of was this- lets say there are 30 open tables, and we are datamining 12 of them. If we arnt playing, we dont care how long scans take.

Lets say, though, we are playing 3 tables, and in the waiting list for another 6. We want our stats to be up to date, so a 'mini scan' of just those tables that are open would be very nice. It wouldnt take up much time (or cpu), and we can check that mr fishy is still on our table when we are to sit down

Also, it can be hard to find what tables we are actually on. If we are on three, and there are thirty tables, and we are trying to find a certain stat on a player (ie do we call a big river bet and want to see won$ at sd%), it is almost impossible to find the table we are on, then the player, and then the stat.

If we could have a little checkbox, so that only the open tables were on the screen, this would be very helpful. As soon as we uncheck, we go back to the normal screen, and the big long scan

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

I have just upgraded my access db to postgres.

When i try to put my username and password in, i get

Error to db failed FATAL password authentication failed for user 'omaha'

But i am pretty sure my password is right.

Is there anything else that it could be?

You gotta put postgres in the username space.

Why use SpadeEye to get an opponents stats?
Don't you use PokerAce while you are playing to display the stats on the open tables?

Mr_Snood: I still have the problem where some incorrect stats are diplayed for players.

here's an example:
The "Won" column for a player shows -28488.05.

In the database from which SpadeEye is reading the stats from:

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

BTW, i LOVE the highlighted tables that i am playing on!

It is really cool, so i often use the 'scan this table only' feature, esp. when someone has just got up, or i have just sat down.

Many tables were juicy, but the one fish left, and i just sat down!

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

When using the autoscan, tables are opened up, until the maximum no is reached

This is really cool. However, the tables that are always opened are the highest table number.

WOuld it be possible, to have the tables opened, as the ones highest on the top window at the present moment?

I use spadeye for two things. Dataming, so i sort the tables by number of reads, with th e mimimum at the top. Then, i open up 12 tables, and mine

Or, when playing, i sort the tables by the scoring system (which is absolutely****ingfantastic mr snood!), with max up the top. Then, i open up a dozen and sit down in the waiting list.

If you could make it so that tables automatically loaded from the top of the window pane, it would make my life a whold lot easier!

Sorry for my late reply.
This is for a HoldemManager database?
So there is a slighty lower number of hands estimated by SpadeEye?
Are there maybe some Omaha games or something else included in the HoldemManager database?

And the "Won" column is totally bugged? Or just for some particular players?
Looks suspicious that all players gets a negative Won amount, doesn't it?

You mean something like "Open top X tables of the currently in SpadeEye visible tablelist"?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

when datamining, it's obvious that the tables being datamined SHOULD be the ones with the least # of known players. This way we get data on unknowns to at least get SOME READ on them if we have to face them, rather than adding hands to guys we already have thousands of hands on.

The number of hands are actually the same and all from hold'em hands at the same limit. The difference is due to taking the screenshot a little late. All players having negative Won values is just a coincidence here, most players have correct values for the Won column, just a few players have way off amounts. Of course I might be missing errorenous figures if they stay within a reasonable range.

Everything in my HM database is NLHE.

It could be something like this, but it would be a whole lot easier, if the tables just opened from the top of the list, then the second of the list, then the third on the list, rather than just opening them by table number

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Mr_Snood...there is a weird problem I am having with Absolute tables. Some players names in the Absolute players lists are in CAPS while others are lowercase. (I am guessing those are Vegas247 skin players, while the lower case are absolute). It looks like SpadeEye gives me player data for the players in CAPS, but no data for anyone else.

If it helps I am using a HoldemManager database.

This is the first time I have noticed this problem, though I havent used the program in quite some time.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Hi, i have a problem. I can open 12 tables in party, but, then, when i run another scan in spadeye, barely any show up.

I thought spadeye was the problem, but they dont show up in the party lobby!!!!????!!!!!???

Crazy as it sounds, half of the tables, (which have players on them happily playing away), just disappear!

Anyone know what is going on?

Never heard about that. Sounds odd.

Are there any filters in the Party lobby active?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Not sure if this has been asked. But I now only have my hands in Poker Tracker and datamine FTP games to RealtimeHUD.

Will SpadeEye be able to use my mined observed HHs to show stats on fishes etc or does it just use PT?

SpadeEye doesn't support the database RealtimeHUD constructs. So unless Mr Snood adds this, it won't work. Since Realtime HUD isn't developed anymore I'd say chances of this happening is slim.

On Party I'm hitting "Scan all Tables" and the "Join Waitlist" window is opening for 1/2 second and then the scan complete sound plays. Same if I hit "Get tTable List".
