Your buttons are really really small in the new version.. or is that just something that my computer is messing up?

Yes, the buttons are smaller, but the text should be fully visible.

On the box "Open", I only see like.. the "pe" and the edge of O and N. The other boxes are fine though.

Is the "Scan all tables" button working properly?

Can you give it a try with both (Fulltilt and SpadeEye) running on the other screen?

What kind of database have you added to SpadeEye?

The "Scan all tables" button has the same result, no player names are grabbed. I turned off the second screen and ran FT and SE on the notebook screen but that didn't help.

I use a PT database. It's setup correctly. I also removed the DB because player names will be shown in SE no matter if i use a DB or not. This was tested on my 2nd PC where i removed all DB entries and scanned all tables and it listed all player names.

what happened to Stack and Ave Pot being in BB instead of $?

Mr. Snood - any word on this feature request from a couple months back? I don't think I was the only one interested in a way of knowing which tables were open (perhaps having them in bold?)

I skimmed through this thread and couldn't find the answer, but can anyone tell me if FT or PokerStars frowns on the use of this program and might disallow it in the future? Of course I would like to use it, but I have heard of people running into trouble with 3rd party software programs.

This program has been approved by both PS and FTP.

Thanks for this, Mr. Snood. I can finally use SpadeEye as a true table manager, w/o having to switch between SpadeEye and Holdem Manager's table manager to see what's open.

2 quick questions sir,

1) Any chance of an auto upgrade button, or, even better, an auto check, like pt does? I check this forum every once in a while, but it would be nice not to have to check here, then get a link, then download, etc etc. I could be spending my time much more productively by playing poker or playing poker

I tried to upgrade to the latest, but when i download the whole new thing, i scan and get zeros on almost all colums. I cant seem to be able to download the patch, AND get it to work. Please, Please, please give us an upgrade button!

Secondly, is there any chance of saving the screen layout when we exit,and load it up the same way when it loads the next time? I minimise the filtersx (but would love to get rid of it totally, as i have never used it),make the middle section big enough for 6 seats, so i can get the whole table im playing on the screen. Problem is, every time i load it up, i need to re do this!

Speaking of installation, how about having SpadeEye remember the installation folder? I have it in Program Files/SpadeEye, but recently the updates have wanted to put it in Program Files/SpadeIt/SpadeEye, requiring me to manually edit the path for every update.

Unfortunately making SpadeEye to remember its layout is not possible.

You can hide the lower mainwindow under "main"->"options"->"show whole playerlist in mainwindow".

Today's FTP update seems to have broken SpadeEye - it can no longer see tables or open them (interestingly enough, I'm still using v2.50 on my other computer, and that still works!)

Just had a brilliant thought, can we have something to show that we are currently datamining?

I always try to have the datamining feature going while playing, but sometimes realise its been off for an hour!

Something like a big red d would b good!

Mr_Snood, is there a way you can only datamine or search for heads-up tables? Filting to 2 people opens the 6-max tables with only 2 people sitting, and you have a way to filter between 6-max and Full Ring, can you add to only do HU tables too?

Edit - nevermind, I'm ******ed I think. Options -> Limit -> Heads Up should do this right?

Mr. Snood - after about three FTP updates yesterday alone, SpadeEye now appears to work fine with FTP again.

Spadeeye: the next generation.

what i'd like to see is a dynamic spade eye. this one is great, but it is linear. by the time i go to scan again the table already has a waitlist of 3 with my 80% vp$ip fish...

perhaps getting rid of the scan button altogether and DYNAMICALLY scanning would be better...each table is a class, the players are objects.

spadeeye gets the table list, creates the classes, and instead of clearing the whole list in the first frame it replaces each instance of similar table names with the new object table...

this will make me instantly see a new fish pop up on a fresh new table w/out my having to scan. all errors will be handled internally (aka client not open).

this will put spadeye in direct competition with PokerPro's Buddy list program, but spadeye's will be 10000x better...




now i know the way spadeeye is made right now it won't work, i was thinking most likely you'll have to change the lists to excel spreadsheets and each cell row is a table, etc, u get the idea.


how feasible is this?





i'd be willing to pay for another subscription to get this
