When i scan all tables (at party), all the jackpot tables come up. I have unticked the box in the options menu, so they dont open when i autoscan.

Is there some way to NOT scan any jackpot tables. This would speed things up significantly, and seriously reduce my table clutter!
10-20-2007 , 01:20 PM
Currently one can only exclude the Jackpot tables from datamining.

I will add an option to exclude them from scan, too.

Unfortunately all you can do is to add the desired stakes under "main"->"options"->"limits".

SpadeEye then datamines the first stake and if there are not enough tables it switches to the next stake from the list (and so on).

Are you sure ILuv20_2yos did not have the better kicker?

I mean SpadeEye just reads the result from the PartyPoker memory. It does not evaluate the showdown.
It just copies what PartyPoker says...

On what Pokersite do you encounter this problem?

I will rather spent time on getting a result from the first scan than scanning over and over

If nothing helps i can rescan all "0 tables".

perhaps instead have an option where all buddies will be listed as a color yellow if they're found on a table (ignoring that if the color is green aka ur sitting there already) this might help with table identification of buddies

This sounds good.
I will make this optional i think.

my "0" results are on FTP. I do not use SpadeEye on any other site so I do not know if it does this elsewhere.

Normally in a scan I have 5-8 tables I have to manually scan to have a complete result.

I am datamining party at present.

I tried to follow the instructions for mining more than 12 tables. I created a new user account, created a new short cut for spade eye and party.

When i load party from the second user account, party does not let it load! What am i doing wrong!

Also, after a while, party will automatically disconnect my datamining. Is there any way (apart from myself playing) that you can somehow use spadeeye to keep party on 24 hours a day, seven days a week?

ps cant wait for the jackpot tables to be excluded from the scan, as i never play them!

Unfortunately since one of the latest PartyPoker updates the workaround with another windows user is no more possible.
10-21-2007 , 12:51 AM
bugger. No wonder i couldnt get it to work! (better change your website b4 everyone else asks!

Any ideas on how to get party to stay open all the time, instead of closing after a few hours?
10-21-2007 , 08:56 AM
I tend to do a full scan, then manually open the tables, then just do a background scan. Gets a bit buggy and freezes a bit too much for my liking when i am playing multitables and doing a full auto dataming with tables opening and closing all the time. Maybe just my puter.

Since i will join ten tables to start with, then am seated at three, then i will cancel the other seven when i am offered the seat. If i jump up from a seat, i dont know if the other juicy table is open, closed, or if i am in the waiting list or not.

What I would LOVE is a better visual recognition of what tables are open, what i am sitting at, and what ones i have joined, in the top window pain.

It would be awesome if next to the table number, there was three buttons. One to open the table, one to close the table, and another to join the table. A coloured highlight bar telling us what tables are open, where we are sitting, and another number telling us what position we are in the waiting list

Uhm, They both had QQ and none of them made a flush so it's a clear split pot.
Spadeeye misses the last line of the hand history. Here is a correct HH written by party:

can you add a feature to exclude certain players from showing up on search? so it's easier to ignore the regs.

also is it possible to add a filter to ignore players under certain # of BB?

Open tables in the order in which they are displayed in the table list. Sometimes, I'll sort by pot size or VPIP, but when I start datamining, intending to sit later at one of the open tables. Similarly, sometimes I'd like to datamine those tables where I have the fewest reads, so I sort by "reads".
Mr. Snood, as a follow-up to this idea, a question and a suggestion. Is there any way to have SpadeEye running on two computers, but coordinate the datamining?

I'd like to have my wife's computer/account datamine the same limit, but that would likely result in a lot of duplicate hands if I used the same criteria.

Can two versions of SpadeEye on the same network talk to each other to avoid that? Or, if not, having the tables open in the order they're displayed could be workaround - e.g. on one computer you go alphabetically from the A-Z, and on the other you go alphabetically backwards from Z-A.

Cheers, Carl.

I jut updated and now im regretting updating, god software tilts me so hard.

The guide on the website is still there because the workaround still works for FullTiltPoker
I don't want to alert FTP about that, so i just left it as "Party" guide on the site...

Unfortunately i can not prevent Party from closing.
They seem todo anything to make datamining a mess.
10-22-2007 , 01:35 AM
Excluding players from scan is not practicable.
Regs come and go... It will be a pain to administer a "regular" list.
And i don't like the idea of removing them from scan.
You can't avoid to play regulars. And although they may be regulars, they all play a different style...

Same applies for shortstacks.
All you can do is to filter on the number of shortstacks on a table, but not ignore them.
10-22-2007 , 01:38 AM
Adding some kind of network coordination to SpadeEye is too much of a hassle for such a thing, because you can control the opening by the sorting of the poker clients lobby.

E.g. You can sort lobby1 (on computer 1) from A..Z and lobby2 (on computer 2) from Z..A and it would do the trick.
SpadeEye always opens tables from top to bottom in the poker clients tablelobby.

The stop button should already be greyed out when not datamining.
So im a bit clueless why you can press it?
I think it has something todo with the pokerroom and your proceeding.
If you can tell me how to reproduce this i will fix it

I think once you mine; then stop- if you then click stop AGAIN it crashes..
Its happened to me multiple times while mining the in the background- then clicking stop twice by accident..
The stop button does not get greyed out if you are not mining.

Seems you fixed them both now, STOP is now greyed out but wasnt in 2.49.

Thanks mate

AllinLife,

"also is it possible to add a filter to ignore players under certain # of BB?"

the filter button bottom right side of the program, there's a "bb" option. for example, my filter options are "on buddy list" and "stack is between 60bbs and 99999999bbs"

leaves me with the available fish (50% vpip or &gt and with a large enough stack to make it worth sitting with them.

to spot the regs for easy recognition, after a scan bottom frame click the "# tables" column and open each player's table that is playing >=6 tables, and tag them with a player notes color u don't normally use (i use orange)

now whenever i see 2 or more orange tagged players sitting, i avoid them.

dunno y i'm bestowing this upon everyone, but i feel generous today.
