Today a new SpadeEye version will be released.

I will try to add as much of your suggestions/fixes.

Version 2.48 is ready:
http://www.spadeit.com/download.php
10-12-2007 , 08:53 AM
All i get is files full of:

Game #6404907003 starts.
#Game No : 6404907003
Hand histories are only displayed for hands that you were dealt cards

Game #6404908347 starts.
#Game No : 6404908347
Hand histories are only displayed for hands that you were dealt cards

Does this memory pool/scan, or is it grabbing from the window? seems the latter which stopped working along time ago(Months and months).
10-12-2007 , 10:29 AM
SpadeEye does memory scanning,
and believe me it works, even today

The files you quoted are not the files that SpadeEye generates.
The files you quoted are the regular files that PartyPoker creates when opening a table and observe.

Can you contact me via ICQ (86080479) or AIM (MrSnoodSpadeEye) so we can configure this together?
10-12-2007 , 10:31 AM
Mr Snood,
Downloaded 2.49 and it will only give me a readout on tables that I have open, the rest appear in the list but only have the average pot amount (no buddies, losers etc) and no player list at all below.

Edit- Only on FTP, tried Empire, worked fine.
10-12-2007 , 09:25 PM
Never mind, turned my computer off overnight and now it decides to work Like the Shortstacks feature BTW.
10-12-2007 , 11:47 PM
Mr. Snood - a few ideas:

1. In the table list, have an indicator of which tables are currently open (a suggestion I previously made). This will help to start playing after a person has been datamining, without having to close then open tables.

2. In the table list, indicate tables where a player is sitting or waitlisted. When all tables get minimized, this will help to quickly expand the ones which really matter.

3. Open tables in the order in which they are displayed in the table list. Sometimes, I'll sort by pot size or VPIP, but when I start datamining, intending to sit later at one of the open tables. Similarly, sometimes I'd like to datamine those tables where I have the fewest reads, so I sort by "reads".

Cheers, Carl.

Call it a "minor annoyance"...

When I scan all tables, SpadeEye works fine. When I scan a single table, however, it seems to shrink all the column widths in the bottom two panels. I end up having to resize each of the columns in order to read anything. Are you able to recreate this issue. This happens on FTP.
10-13-2007 , 09:32 AM
Mr. Snood one feature request:
Please add a label which tells me when the last scan was, like "30 seconds ago", "1 minute ago" and "more than 2 minutes"... I always forget, if I made a full scan recently. ;(
10-13-2007 , 02:56 PM
Oops, false alarm.
10-18-2007 , 06:17 PM
Hi,

What are the sites that allow datamining?
Party?
and table selection?

Thanks
10-18-2007 , 07:06 PM
Tableselection and datamining is allowed on all sites that SpadeEye supports.
10-18-2007 , 07:07 PM
Will be added: "a label which tells me when the last scan was"
10-18-2007 , 07:07 PM
I will take a look at the shrinking columns when scanning a single table.
10-18-2007 , 07:11 PM
1. Will be added.

2. Where a player is sitting at can be seen when entering his screenname under "main"->"options"->"profile"->"My Screenname".
All tables where this player has been found are marked green.

3. This is a bit more tricky^^. Got to think about how to include this in the userinterface.

Having a couple of major problems here with the buddy list.

I can follow the mini tutorial on your site, and export them from pt into a csv file, and i can examine it elsewhere, to check that it has worked.

I then try and import them, which supposedly works, but when i try to view any, they do not appear, even when they are on the tables. If i use the filter on the bottom window, i can see many buddies which are on my csv file, but do not appear in the buddy list.

Also, they do not appear alphabetically when i list them.

Not sure what i am doing wrong, please help me!
I think you really need a 'walkthrough manual' showing how to use your brilliant software. Kind of reminds me of PT, a brilliant program with bugger all documentation

Also, my stats show up on the tables i am playing on ,which of course distorts them. Is there any way we can name ourselves, and then have our vpip, pfr, and #reads ignored from all tables? This would be brilliant!
10-19-2007 , 01:45 AM
Yes, you can exclude yourself from scan.
Take a look at "main"->"options"->"profile" in the menu.

There you can set your screenname and exclude yourself from scan.
(The Screenname may be casesensitive, but i am not sure)

Regarding the buddylist problems:
- Do you see a list with your buddies when you go to "buddylist"->"show" in the menu?

- The bottom list windows has been added after the buddylist features has been developed. I probably forgot to apply the buddylist features to the playerlist window, too. I will take a closer look at this for the next version these days.
10-19-2007 , 03:03 AM
Thanks, can exclude myself now!

I see a list of buddies, but not one shows up at a table. Also, some that are in the csv file do not get added to the list.

A couple of other questions

The scan all tables seems to take forever. Not sure why, surely it is not that cpu intensive to locate a few numbers? It seems really slow

What is the best way of updating? any chance of an auto update button?

perhaps instead have an option where all buddies will be listed as a color yellow if they're found on a table (ignoring that if the color is green aka ur sitting there already) this might help with table identification of buddies

i know u can filter by buddies in the bottom frame, just an idea though

I can't seem to get Pokertracker to open the hands. I don't understand. I've tried both completely automatic, and background datamining feature on SpadeEye (can you explain the exact difference?, does background still open+close the tables for you?)

Anyway PT says:

Import Finished - 6 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.

Excellent software BTW.

Thanks,

How about a classification for "anti-buddy," like you know a regular shark you don't want to play with. LIke you have a table with 1 drooling fish but 4 known sharks, you move on? (I you can't really see a shark just from his stats, some with the same stats suck, but you know sharks by playing with them, then tag them as sharks) Make any sense?

in the bottom frame after ur scan there's a list of # tables next to a players name. take 5 min and open players with > 6 tables running and mark them orange, with no notes, and orange is just a standard way for you to know that that person is a multi tabler.

after a while u'll get all the regulars and u know who to avoid rather easily.

I have a suggestion Snood.

When I run a Tablescan, about 5-10% of the tables return 0 results (for whatever reason). I have to manually scan these tables one at a time to get complete results.

I suggest re-scanning the tables that return "0" after the first pass, if this is possible.

Nevermind..I fixed the issue...

Is it possible to datamine more than 1 level at once?

I'd like to datamine 25/50 then 10/20 then 5/10 depending on how many games there are (usually there are not 12 25/50 and 10/20 games going at once). When i do it it always just fills up on the current level.

Thx.
