You can enter your screenname under "main"->"options"->"profile".

If the screenname you entered there has been found while scanning, then the tablename gets a green background in the SpadeEye tablelist.

This has been added to see at what tables you are sitting.
So you can compare your tables to probably better ones...

i just remembered, after ur new updated spaces and hyphens are now seen as underscores in the table list, so if ur SN has a space it's Mr_Snood

Version 2.44 is ready:
http://www.spadeit.com/download.php

- Fixed the duplicate seat numbers.
- Hopefully fixed the freeze after a scan.

- Unfortunately saving the 3 windows sizes is harder than i thought. It always mixes up the layout so it has not been added yet.

I'm just catching up on all of this now, I've never really used spadeEye, but recently I've started 9 tabling and it's a pain to table select manually with that many tables.

So spadeEye can datamine party? Meaning I wouldn't need to use FreePHG?
10-02-2007 , 05:11 PM
This is correct.
SpadeEye can datamine Party on its own,
but the main task of SpadeEye is tableselection.

The datamining ability is just a bonus.

This looks awesome, testing it now.

Tried sixth sense but i dont agree with sucriptions so seems great

Why is it taking 3-4mins to scan tables, but using <20% of my CPU? I want it to hog my cpu and take 10 seconds
10-03-2007 , 12:52 AM
I guess your harddrive is too slow in running through your database to search for a players statistics.

What kind of database are you using and how big is it?
10-03-2007 , 01:38 AM
POST SQL
My HD is sata, pretty high RPM also.

Its just taking a while, what are the possible problems?

FWIW sixth sense takes .7seconds but are they dled from a server???~

Its not using much CPU so..?
10-03-2007 , 12:19 PM
Heres an image showing CPU performance mid scan?

i bought spadeeye a couple weeks ago and am very happy with it. but i have a few suggestions:

concerning the screenname:
i have different screennames on party and full tilt (as probably most of us do), yet the options dialog doesn't save the screenname by site. so i have to change it everytime i switch clients. maybe this could be avoided?

the "frame size" issue was already mentioned. additionally the whole window is "shrinking" each time spadeeye is opened! it's a few pixels smaller in width and height every time, so i have to resize it everytime.

with full tilt:
some tables always seem to be missing in the spadeeye tablelist. i tried to rescan all tables and they were still missing. this is bad when i want to tag a "buddy" i'm playing with at a table, but can't find that table in spadeeye.

full tilt:
i usually double click a table in spadeeye to join the waiting list (works fine in party). joining the waiting list like this works, but if i open the table from the full tilt client (to view the action or whatever) i'm kicked off the waiting list, also if i click another table in the full tilt client and then the original table again, i'm also off the waiting list. this is really strange.
i guess it works if you exclusively use spadeeye, but sometimes i want to scroll through the tables in the client and open from there.

the "average AF" in the tablelist has no colored background even though i defined colors for it.

with full tilt:
the "WL" column doesn't work. it just shows - for every table.

when i rearrange the table columns to suit my taste (by dragging them around / resizing them) it's all undone on the next start of spadeeye.

----------- the following issues seem not that important to me:

in the options dialog -> display tab:
there is no checkbox for "#losers" and "tot.stacks" so i can't get rid of it.

maybe you could remove the # in front of "reads" "buddies" etc. (table headers) to save space because it's really self explanatory that the numbers displayed are in fact numbers

on full tilt:
the progress bar when scanning all tables goes from 0% to ~12% instead of 100%. probably you consider the whole tablelist in the client window as 100% even though only a fraction of these are to be scanned.

would be great if you could fix some of the more important ones!
10-03-2007 , 01:38 PM
Well i guess Sixthsense delivers the table and playerlist from its server.
This is faster, but not that up-to-date like the local scan that SpadeEye performs.
SpadeEye needs to wait 0.5-1.5 seconds per table until the Party client delivers its playerlist.
So here a bit of time is wasted, but thats unavoidable when scanning your local lobby.
10-03-2007 , 01:54 PM
Thats pretty much of good improvements.

1) I will save the screennames by site.

2) SpadeEye scans your local lobby.
I suggest you to sort the lobby by tablename or stake.
SpadeEye moves through the lobby from top to bottom.
When the FTP client resorts the lobby SpadeEye may skip some tables if the order is drastically changed.

3) You should not use the "join waiting" list in SpadeEye for FTP. It is too unreliable at some clients. I suggest you to use the "open table" option and join the waitinglist manually.

There is not much i can do to fix 2) and 3) because i can not cooperate with the FTP client. All i can do is control the client from the outside. Send some mouse and buttonclicks and hope the FTP client likes them.

4) The colorcoding for avg. AF (and others) has recently been removed
I will add it again.

5) Unfortunately saving the rearranged columns is not possible.

6) "#losers" and "tot.stacks" will be added to the display tab.

7) Removing the "#" is no problem. Are they so annoying?

8) Thats correct. The progressbar always takes the whole tablelist as 100%.
The problem is that i can no not know (before a scan) how many tables of a specific stake are available.
All i can ask the FTP client before a scan is :"how big is your list?".
I can not ask "how many NL100 tables are in your list?".

Buddy List Addition
Can you make them sort in order A>Z ?

Save Layout
I resort the bars/sizes and positions everytime it gets fustrating. Can this be saved a profile perhaps? Or just a config file for now

Does the miner work and table scan at same time?
10-03-2007 , 02:08 PM
I will try to save the layout.

Datamining and scanning at the same time is not supported.
10-03-2007 , 02:45 PM
sounds good - looking forward to it!

thanks for the hints on how to avoid missing tables.

did you notice this one (i think i added it later):
with full tilt the "WL" column doesn't work. it just shows - for every table.

the # symbol is not really annoying, i just think it's not necessary and i would always opt for the less cluttered version - makes things more easy to read and takes less screen space because of smaller columns.

thanks for answering so fast,
fingerswinger

I will add the missing WL column.

Thanks for your replies snood.

A couple of questions

1) I think you really need to pay someone a few dollars and get a GOOD, professional, well done, functional manual set up, which explains everything that can be done from A to Z. Screen shots and all! It will save you heaps of time, and money, as noob questions wont be repeatedly asked. Also, you will sell more of your prog. as people will be able to see what, and how it does things before they download and buy it. Thus, in the long run, you will make more money, and save heaps of time.

Often, i have it mining party in the background while my kids play the computer. WIth all the party screens coming up, they always manage to shut it down. Is there a way to 'automatically minimise' all of the party screens? would help all of us with kids, and those of us who do many things at once

What is the difference between a background scan and a complete scan in the datamining table?

Also, when i try to open or join a table, and i already have twelve open, spadeeye cant open another. Is there a way to say, close down an open table (say with the lowest vpip that we arnt on), and then open up the table we want to join?
10-03-2007 , 06:42 PM
Also, how about a way of checking for upgrades when it is first run, like PT?
10-04-2007 , 04:35 PM
The "background" mode should be used when playing at the same time while datamining.
The automatic opening and closing of tables is disabled while in background mode.

I know that SpadeEye is not that intuitive and easy to understand as it should be. Adding more tutorials is since a long time on my todolist, but unfortunately i rather improve SpadeEye than spend the time on writing tutorials :/

I will keep an eye on minimizing all Party screens when the "minimize" checkbox under "datamining" is checked (not only the tables).

Closing down tables when too much are open is to be honest, too much of a hassle to replace a simple click by you
10-04-2007 , 04:37 PM
This can be added, but in my opinion this popups on startup are always a bit annoying.
A SpadeEye update occurs at least 2-3 times a month
10-04-2007 , 06:21 PM
yo snood, could you add ongame support in further versions?
10-04-2007 , 09:08 PM
Spadeye will not mine party for me, but mines fulltilt fine. Any suggestions?
10-05-2007 , 12:33 AM
Mr Snood,

I noticed that sometimes the stats for certain players are not displayed even though I know I have stats on them. I checked database settings and everything is correct. What could be a problem? This is for FTP if it makes a difference.

So it appears to happen with players that have a space or hyphen in their screenname. SpadeEye replaces that with an underscore. That's why these stats are missing.
