New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye

Just getting set up looks cool. But I have a problem data mining FTP. I run FTP, then SpadeEye, and turn on the datamine function. 12 tables open and everything looks good. (I'm not sitting at FTP while I datamine)BUT:

Where are these HHs stored? I have the FTP HH set to write to C:/Programs/Full Tilt Poker/Hand History. The default. But after I datamine, I check that file and there is nothing NEW there. ??? I'm lost. Is this just a 'table opener' do I need a 'handgrabber' ? (I'm not running any other poker software during this process, so the HH are not being 'moved' somewhere ie by Poker Tracker) Thanks!

The problem is, that the handhistory files get deleted as soon as you close the tables.

The handhistories are written as tmp files.

So usually one have to run the Poker Tracker FullTilt Autoimport at the same time while datamining.

Alternatively you can specify a destination directory in SpadeEye ("Main"->"options"->"general") and set the files to be moved to this directory (e.g. for a later import).

Note: The destination directory need to exist.
SpadeEye will not create it.

This seem to be a problem with e.g. swedish special characters.
I will fix this soon.

"AF" post flop aggression right? I have SpadeEye v2.38c trial version hooked up to Holdem Manager and The "AF" column in SpadeEye is always 0.00, like its not getting this info from HM. The other info is comming up nicely. What simple thing have I overlooked? Thanks
09-20-2007 , 05:10 PM
That's correct. Currently the "AF" is not being retrieved from HoldemManager databases.

As the HoldemManager database is going to change soon - i have the info from the developer - it makes no sense to fix this by now. Because i will have to fix the HoldemManager support anyway soon

Sven,

While using eye on full tilt after a couple hours of use i notice a ton of instances of postgre being run on my comp, which starts to slow it down significantly to the point where i have to restart my comp (i can't end process cuz i play on a limited account for security reasons)

any thoughts on if spade eye can be programmed to close them after being done with them?

Sounds strange.

I doubt that EyePoker can kill the process, because EyePoker runs in your current Windows users scope, while the PostgreSQL process is running under another scope.

Also EyePoker has no connection to the real postgresql process. Even if i could kill the postgresql process i can not know which one to kill and which not (there are always a minimum of 4-5 processes running).

Can you stop and restart the postgresql server?
(usually under "Start"->"All Programs"->"PostgreSQL 8.x" available)

i'll have to try this when i get home, but let it be noted that i give eye admin privileges so that it can synch with full tilt (full tilt runs on admin privs as well)

i dunno if giving eye admin privs would allow u to control processes on other accounts (like postgre)

Version 2.42 is ready and i like it very much
http://www.spadeit.com/download.php

- Fixed a bug with an annoying error message regarding special characters when scanning the database.

- Added a new column (# Shortstacks) to the tableview.
One can now define below what stacksize a player counts as "shortstacked".
The number of shortstacked players gets displayed in the tablelist.
See "Main"->"Options"->"Profil" for more information.

- Added a new column (# tables) to the playerview.
The number of tables a player is currently playing at is now being displayed in this new column.
This should ease the identification of multitablers.

- The parameter "number of tables to open" for datamining gets now saved seperately for each pokerroom.
One no more need to change this value when switching between e.g. PartyPoker and FullTiltPoker.

Thank you for adding this!

Downloaded v2.42 and am only able to open 4 tables when data mining. When I go into options and change it to 12 it reverts to 4.

Please upgrade to 2.43:

The "4 table" bug has been fixed.

The $40 rego fee, is this a once off, with unlimited future upgrades (like PT, PAHUD), or is it a yearly fee?

Also, has anyone seen a tutorial, or a basic 'how to' guide anywhere?
09-30-2007 , 12:51 PM
How do i rate players from their PT stats vpip, pfr, agg f etc, into seperate classifications? I remember reading somewhere it can be done.

I can figure out how to just dump them all into my buddy list, but am at a loss as to how to fully utilise this program!
09-30-2007 , 06:36 PM
The $40 is a one time fee like PokerTracker or PokerAce.

You can not rate players with SpadeEye.
It has no scoring system.

You can rate the players in your Pokertracker DB and use the Pokertracker autorating in SpadeEye.

A small guide can be found here:
http://www.spadeit.com/guide.php

Feel free to contact me via ICQ (86080479) or AIM (MrSnoodSpadeEye) for instant help.

Looks like a good program, you should b proud, and will b receiving 40 from me vv v soon!

Couple of questions

When the filters come up, there is a save button, but no close without saving possible

No colours appear on the vpip or pfr colums until players have 100 hands. Is there any way of changing this number to 50, or 75?

In the middle screen, often the seat numbers are repeated, with some missing. Also, i do not show up when i am sitting.

Your excellent customer support is nothing short of astonishing.

Can everyone repetedly asking for stars, maybe just stay a bit quiet? Im pretty sure its on the to do list. Also, with datamining banned, one would prolly need 2 computers, and two separate accounts, in order to take advantage of the situations!

Well done once again!

Another 2 questions

What is the # reads column represent? How is it useful?
What is the #Loser define? How can i use it?

Also, can anyone give me a linky to what numbers to use to auto rate nlhe? I have some good ones for limit, but not sure what i should be using for nl?
10-01-2007 , 10:39 AM
Lets say i do a new fish search by using the filter on the lower window, and eighty fish pop up. How can i add them to my existing buddy list? Do i need to click all the buddy boxes individually? or is there an easier way to do it?
10-01-2007 , 11:14 AM
snood,

as per the new release the software now "hangs" for 10 seconds or so after a "scan all tables" is performed when it has not done so in the past.

also as a feature request, can you save the 3 frame heights in the main window when the program is exited much like u save the window size and position? i like having the table list bigger than the other 2 frames and the table view frame big enough to just show the 6 players.
10-01-2007 , 12:39 PM
"No colours appear on the vpip or pfr colums until players have 100 hands. Is there any way of changing this number to 50, or 75?"

Yes. Go to "main"->"options"->"profile".
There you can set the minimum number of hands for what the numbers count as valid. This minimum number of hands threshold has been added to avoid the distortion by players where you have e.g. only 15 hands.
This is also important for the "#Reads" column.

The first digit shows the number of players you have "enough" hands on (regarding to "main"->"options"->"profile"). The second digit shows how many player you have any hands from.
E.g. "4/6" means there are 4 players with at least "100" hands and 6 players with at least "0" hands.

The "#Loser" column just tells you how many players "Total Won" statistic is below zero at this table.

"In the middle screen, often the seat numbers are repeated, with some missing. Also, i do not show up when i am sitting."
At which pokerroom does this happen?

Also, a stars version, named Telescope, is already available:
http://www.spadeit.com/tindex.php
But datamining will never be added to this application because PokerStars does not allow this and i will not break their rules as i do not want that Telescope get on the PokerStars prohibited list.
10-01-2007 , 12:41 PM
Unfortunately there is no easier way to add the player from the playerlist window than adding them one by one.

Another way would be to import the players from your database.
Either directly or via a CSV file import:
http://www.spadeit.com/guide.php#csv

I will save the 3 frame heights...

And i will try to ditch the 10 seconds "hang".
I guess it hangs because after a scan it moves through the whole playerlist and counts for each player on how much tables he has been spotted (for the new column "#Tables").
Currently this counting is not very fast done, because i didn't expect it to hang, at least on my - already slow - computer :P.

snood,

i just noticed while trying to tag multitablers that when trying to sort by "# table" in the 3rd frame, it sorts it by 9 tables, 8->1 then 11 tables

obv it should be 11->1

thought u should know

Good old party poker. Thanks for the other answers!

Is there a way in which we can highlight all of the tables that we are currently sitting at?

I might be sitting at four tables, and it is a pain to find the table via its number.

Even better, can we have a button that shifts from all tables, to just the ones we are sitting on, and vice versa? It would be brilliant!
