Don't get me wrong.

At Doyles room,
SpadeEye is just meant to open/close tables automatically.

It's just a tool to help datamining, when using for example the tribeca hand grabber.
I guess i'm confused. Why is there a destination folder in options?
11-03-2006 , 04:09 PM
The destination folder is needed when using SpadeEye with PartyPoker.
At PartyPoker the handhistories gets saved to the destination folder.
11-03-2006 , 09:10 PM
Another function that would be nice but isn't essential is if it were possible to for example filter for tables with

VPIP > 30% __OR__ at least one player with VPIP > 50%

It's the or that I'm looking for.

Anyway, SpadeEye is great!

want to test your latest version to see if Doyle's scanning and open/close table feature is working and i downloaded it, but I get a message saying my trial period is over... can I extend my trial period?
11-06-2006 , 09:29 AM
Give me 1 more day.

I want to fix one more part of the Stars/Tribeca support.
When i have finished this, i will reply here and reset the trial periods, so that everybody gets the chance to test it.
11-06-2006 , 09:58 AM
I was just going to ask practically the same thing. Thanks Mr. Snood.
11-06-2006 , 01:16 PM
thanks for the reset!
11-07-2006 , 06:02 AM
when is prima support coming?
11-07-2006 , 08:04 AM
Is there any plans to be able to scan multiple limits/sites at the same time? E.g. it would be MEGA-useful if we could see all the 3/6 and 5/10 tables on Party/Stars/FT all at the same time!

Also, data-mining multiple sites from one application would also be awesome. Any plans?
11-07-2006 , 02:02 PM
Currently i have no plans to do so.

Other things have more priority,
like my next try on Doyles and Stars.

Version 1.78 is ready for download:
www.spadeit.com/download.php#1b

Everybody should be able to test the new version.
At least as soon, as my websitehost is up again.
Seem to be down currently...
11-07-2006 , 03:45 PM
i tested the 1.78 version.

stars scanning always stuck in every 20-30 tables, and i must manually scroll to the next table. after it finishes, the percentage bar is starts but stops at 2-30% and i get this error message:

3 failed ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UNICODE": 0x(random numbers i cant remember)

you wrote there was a bug with playernames containing special characters. i think this is that unicode error.

testing v1.78 with Doyles...

automatic open/close table feature:
Looks like it opens tables fine that meet my # of players criteria, but it is not closing tables when the # of players drops below what I have specified in SpadeEye.

scanning:
Scanning tables (tested full ring only - 9 handed) but getting more than 9 players listed at some of the tables and only a few players at other tables when all tables are full in the Doyle's lobby. Maybe SpadeEye is finding the players and the tables, but listing some players at the incorrect table?
11-07-2006 , 06:22 PM
In version 1.78 i only took care about the stability issues.

Problems i know about on stars:
- "invalid byte sequence for encoding UNICODE".
The bug with playernames containing special characters...
- scanning can stuck

Problems i know about on doyles:
- players from the waiting list are added to the tables playerlist
- some tables can get skipped
- work on automatic open/close is not finished yet.

Just tried 1.78 on Doyle's. Not perfect - but big improvement.

Good work

well.... maybe the open/close feature is working. Might have been a lag in the Doyle's lobby window? I went out for ~1/2 hour to run an errand and left SpadeEye running with Doyles and came back and there were 2 tables empty but SpadeEye had not closed them. I didn't see if the Doyle's lobby showed them as full though. Right now SpadeEye is open/closing tables fine with respect to # of players. I had FullTilt mining at the same time and don't now, so maybe that caused a lag in the Doyles lobby and SpadeEye couldn't tell that some of the open Doyles tables were actually empty? Don't know for sure...more testing for me to see if that was it, but I am optimistic.
11-07-2006 , 07:16 PM
possible explanation for the Doyles lobby lag...

seems that the Doyle's lobby window does not refresh itself while it is minimized to the task bar? There was a short-handed table that had not closed... I restored the Doyles lobby to view and noticed that it still showed there as full... but then the Doyles lobby refreshed, updating the # of players at that table, and SpadeEye closed it for me because it now was listed as below my # of players criterion... perhaps put code into SpadeEye to restore/refresh the Doyles lobby window as often as the user specifies for scanning?

When I scan doyles tables no players show up?

should they be?
11-09-2006 , 03:44 AM
Snood, I have 3 questions:

1) I was reading your guide and am not sure about "Extension: Specify which extension the files should have (for example "txt" or "hhf").
I play on Party exclusively so should I put in 'txt' or 'hhf'?

2) While I datamine, does the data get automatically uploaded into my PokerOffice database or do I have to manually upload it?

3) How much disk space do I need available for the datamining?
11-09-2006 , 05:52 AM
hi,
first of all, I am new to this program.

if I scan stars with one PC (2,7 Gh AMD win XP home) I sometimes have to scroll down manually in the lobby table list.

If I try it on my new PC (Core 2 dual, win XP prof) it stuck and nothing happens at all.
What did I do wrong?
11-09-2006 , 08:59 AM
When you make a "FullScan" on Doyles,
tables and playernames should show up.

If not, you can send me the logfiles to Support@Spadeit.com ,
with a small description what you have done...
11-09-2006 , 08:59 AM
To 1) Choose "txt".

To 2) The mined hands are only written to disk.
You have to import them into PT, PO or PM by your own.

To 3) You don't need much diskspace. 1 mined hand takes approx 0,7 kb - 1,3 kb.
So 1000 hands are about 1 mb.

Stars scanning is still in developement.
I hope i have fixed the stability issues with the last version 1.78.
So i can improve the scanning part for the next version.
For example "scan a specific limit".
Fix the "get stuck" bug, and so on...
11-09-2006 , 10:54 AM
I dont get any result while full scanning at stars.
Is it possible that there are problems at my side?

what do I have to have beside netframe?
11-10-2006 , 01:41 AM
Snood, thanks for your previous reply.

I have another question:

When the datamined hh's are download to my destination folder and than I upload them to PokerOffice...what happens when I do another datamining session? When I upload to PokerOffice again do the older hh's get uploaded twice?
