Are there any "window*.conf" and "column.conf" files in your SpadeEye installation directory?

1) Delete them.
2) Start SpadeEye. Set the desired Window size.
3) Close SpadeEye and restart it.
Result: Working, or not?
I'm using Vista 64bit
I just checked my dir and deleted all the .conf files u said
restarted, and set it up, closed it, and nothing... everything is back to default sizes...

For anyone that is thinking about buying this program - just do it.

SpadeEye is without question the best table selection software available - not having SpadeEye is one of the most -EV decisions a poker player can make.

is SpadeEye legal on full tilt? They seem to now explicitly forbid programs that aid in table selection.

Hi there. I've just registered spade eye and i'm trying to set up the table section part. I need to add my HEM database and i need my postgreSQL username and password to do this.

I originally downloaded a trial version of PT3 as a way to install postsql. Because the trial period has finished and i'm using HEM, i don't what my username and password is.

Is there a way i can find out what my username and password would be?

I doubt they mean client side tableselection utilities like SpadeEye.
I suppose they mean server side services with centralized databases like tableratings...

Nevertheless, I already sent 3 emails regarding that to FullTilt.
None came back back...

Try one of the default values:
"postgres" and "dbpass"
or
"dbuser" and "dbpass"
or
"postgres" and "postgrespass"

The PrimaEye software is working poorly on MaMaMia poker. Are you planning to release an update anytime soon? Nice software though, will buy it when it starts working.

Can someone please explain why PokerStars lists SpadeEye as an example of tools and services which are prohibited but lists Telescope by SpadeIt as an example of acceptable tools and services?

Are these not the same?

SpadeEye includes a table opener and can datamine as well as being a table selection tool, Telescope is a table selection tool only, it can't datamine. AFAIK.

Sven, if I recall correctly, you have already received confirmation that SpadeEye was "legal".

Please post their newest reply to you as soon as possible. There seems to be a lot of money at stake here...I know I am going to mothball this program until you get the OK.

Version 3.08, I had to do the delete window*.conf and column.conf thing that MrSnood suggested above before it worked though.
this, except on vista

This post purports to state that FTP is saying SpadeEye is prohibited at this point.

Just FYI.

Of course.

I would like to get a contact person at FullTilt to clarify this,
and make the Software 100% FullTilt compliant
- as I did with PartyPoker and PokerStars -
but up to now I got no response from them.

Before I can work something out,
I need to know what i have to change...

Have you tried shipping a PM to FTPDoug or FTPSean?

That was me yesterday. I didn't make it up and will forward the e-mail if desired. Don't know what help that would be though.

Just a little clarification is needed as there is no reference IN ANY THREAD to a:

Did you (HSB) email FTP and personally get an email from Roy actually stating that a particular piece of software was illegal? Seems unusual since FTP has been taking great pains to avoid naming specific software.

Just to be clear: I didn't mean to accuse anybody of lying, I just thought that Mr. Snood would want to see that post.

And I sincerely hope this gets cleared up soon.

lol spadeeye is prohibited now? WTF?

this means that table tracker and/or full tilt table opener must be prohibited as well.
12-30-2008 , 07:16 PM
Or there's a really stupid FTP rep. Which would really not surprise me in the slightest.

I know that we at PokerTracker have had TableTracker confirmed as legal, and nobody has told us any differently lately. Since there should be no reason that I can see that SpadeEye would be prohibited and TT not, I'm not really sure what's going on, but hopefully Mr. Snood can get to the bottom of it.

Is party poker allowed to data mine?

Yes.

I specifically asked about SpadeEye because a previous e-mail made it sound like it was kosher, maybe that's why they got explicit. Or maybe they just ****ed up.
12-31-2008 , 04:57 PM
Password needed now when i update? WTF? I have never had one before! I renamed the spadeye file and then just extracted it

I just thought of a wonderful idea.

Can we get SE to open tables, join the wait list and then minimise the table we have just opened? This would be great, and would stop me having a whole stack of open tables which i then need to mininise, while not minimising tables i am currently playing on

any update at all snood? with the new security team and that email from support i haven't been using spade eye and i miss it alot.
