New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye New Tableselection Software: SpadeEye

Hello

I'm using the free trial of SpadeEye. I used the first two days to datamine PartyPoker and i found that using this tool with my Holdem Manager HUD gives me a huge edge

Now i was trying to learn more about the table opener, and i was troubled because all statistics were zero. SpadeEye detects the tables (by number), the number of players and the average pot. But all other statistcs are zero. I can open the tables too.. everything seems to work fine, except the statistics. Also the huge boxes where players statistics should appear are in blank.

I read all the FAQ, and some threads in SpadeIt forums...but i cant solve this
Any help?

@Saiza
1) Have you added your database in "main->options->databases"?
Like described here:
http://www.spadeit.com/faq.php
What kind of database do you use?

2) Do you use the english PartyPoker client?

3) "Hide seated players info" in the PartyPoker lobby is unchecked?

4) Do you get playernames into SpadeEye when you scan the tables?

I've read and done exactly as said in FAQ

What kind of database do you use?
I work with holdem manager.. the kind of database i dont really know... Where can i see that?

2) Do you use the english PartyPoker client?
Yes

3) "Hide seated players info" in the PartyPoker lobby is unchecked?
Now that i'm reading this, i have noticed that i have a check box next to the "hide full tables" box. I think its the "Hide seated players info", but it says nothing in front of the box (weird??). When i unchek it the little window with info goes away. I have datamine always with that box unchecked, could the problem be this?

4) Do you get playernames into SpadeEye when you scan the tables?
No, nothing...

Thanks for the help

The setting in options where you assign double click to be either join or open, it would be useful to have this shown in the main window somewhere. I usually wanna join lets say 5waitlist and open 8for data mining, this would make it a tiny bit quicker as its bit hassle to use the join/open buttons because they are far away from the player window.

Please do not under any circumstances remove the aggregator, for me that is your real edge against TableTracker and other software (it takes only 10% of the time to build an aggregated DB as it takes to update the cache in PT3, and makes all searches much faster).

Im using spadeeye omaha 1.09b and after FTPs update (yesterday) there is a very annoying beep every 10 seconds while datamining. and it seems buggy too - doesnt open all (18) tables sometimes...

Scanning tables on PartyPoker has become extremely annoying. While scanning all tables, the cursor will go back to the top table in the lobby and continue to scan this single table for the remainder of the scan. Maybe 1 in 15 scans will work error free. The only way the get around this manually is to physically watch the scan, and when the scan reverts to the top table, to manually click on another random table in the Party lobby, then the scan will continue down the list (until it reverts back to the top table again and you have to repeat).

Is SpadeEye support aware of this problem, and is a fix possible in the future? I will be happy to provide any assistance through Teamviewer if you need to view this for yourself. Thanks.

Happens with me as well.
Takes several attempted scans before it works properly.

Any active support for spadeeye or has it gone the way of sixth sense?

This same question has been unanswered in the spadeeye forums for 2 days.

I am sorry to be bringing it back but i just emailed the FULLTILT support to ask them if spadeeye was legal on FT before ordering it.
They said that it was PROHIBITED.

Any way to get a real answer about that matter?
The spadeye poster on this thread said that:
"SpadeEye is not a classic FullTilt dataminer.
It has a build in tableopener, but the FullTilt client writes the hands on its own.
Of course we will cut of this functionality, if FullTilt doesn't like it
(like we did with Telescope for PokerStars).

It is no problem for FullTilt to detect the usage of SpadeEye, and give you a warning about that.
They don't, while hundreds of People are using it day by day.
Therefore we consider it to be legal."

but FULL TILT does not agree...

What should we do here?

Since the latest change of the FullTilt terms and conditions regardings datamining,
there seem to be a lot of confusion about SpadeEye.
I am currently trying to contact FullTilt Poker about that, but got no answer yet.
If FullTilt really dislikes the SpadeEye tableopener it will get removed from SpadeEye.
Thus making it 100% legal again.

Nevertheless up to now, everybody is still using it (including me),
and nobody did get a warning about the usage.
Up to now there is no official list of prohibited programs (like PokerStars offers).
So nobody exactly knows what tools are currently 100% legal and what are not...
So it's extreme doubtful that you have to fear losing your funds in cause of SpadeEye.

Don't worry.
Everything is fine.
Latest SpadeEye update has been released just 5 days ago.

Unfortunately there is no fix for the annoying PartyPoker problem.
From my point of view the new PartyPoker lobby is some kind of odd.
I am trying to find a solution for that.

So what do you have in mind?
A checkbox to decide: double click = open/join in the main screen?

Sounds like pretty much of a hassle.
Where to put that checkbox?

I think adding a "open table / join table" column for each table is a better solution?
A double click on that column could then open/join the table?

You can turn off that beep in "main->options->display->play sound".

Does it probably skip the deep stack tables,
or anything special on the tables it skips?

Maybe the playercount is wrong?

Please try to reinstall the english PartyPoker version or use the new SpadeEye version 3.04.
Do not use any Lobby Themes for PartyPoker.
Several people reported the caption of the player info window is missing.
Thus SpadeEye was unable to find the player info.
This should be fixed by version 3.04:

Sry, my bug description was horrible. When I start datamining it opens all 18 tables (deep and normal tables, two limits). But after automatically closing a few tables (I have activated the close table if less than 3 player option) it doesnt open any new one.
10-24-2008 , 12:34 PM
Maybe there was no more tables that meet the criteria?

nice try
but it really is a bug, when I close the tables (e.g. only 10 open tables left) and restart datamining it opens 18 tables again

Wow, thanks for taking the time and effort to resolve this, as it seemed pretty difficult due to crappy Party software in this case. You continually have such great customer support.

YES?
No.

SpadeEye, EyePoker, Telescope... are all independant from each other and require their own license.

SpadeEye supports PartyPoker, FullTiltPoker and the AbsolutePoker skins.

EyePoker supports more than 30 pokerooms of the iPoker network.

Telescope supports PokerStars.

PrimaEye supports more than 30 pokerrooms of the Prima/Microgaming network.

EverestEye supports EverestPoker.

Please note:
They all seem to offer the same functionality: Tableselection and datamining.
But they are complete different from the inside, due to the fact, that every pokerroom is different.
They only share the userinterface.
Therefore the time, and effort - needed for the developement -
plus ensure the future support for it, requires to be paid.
Remember: It's a one time fee, license is valid for lifetime, all future upgrades included.
The very first customer of SpadeEye are using it for more than 2 years now...

Nevertheless, as existing customer you can get discount if you are interested in several of our products.
Just email support@spadeit.com for more information.
