What operating system is this?
You have to run SpadeEye as Admin under Vista.

Is www.spadeit.com reachable for you in the browser?
You are definitely not being blocked by our server.
So i don't know why it is not working.
I think McAfee is still blocking SpadeEye.

Ok, I had to fix my proxy settings.

Sorry for the obvious mistake...

I don't know if this is normal or not but when I scan all tables it has the "percentage bar" on the bottom, i normally only gets to like 8-10% then simply finishes the process, is that normal? or does that mean its not actually looking through all my DBs fully?

100% = all tables in the lobby.

As one usually do not scan all tables, the scan stops much earlier.
Thats no problem.

I have AVG and nothing

Latest AVG version seem to give some false warnings...

SpadeEye uses several techniques to "spy" the pokerclient.
It needs to do this to retrieve the table and playernames from your local lobby.
E.g. PokerAce and others need to spy the poker client to retrieve the data, too.
So that is nothing new or special when dealing with pokersoftware.
Trojan horses usually use the same techniques, and probably that is why AVG is giving you a warning.

Just to make sure: There are hundreds of people out there using our products.
And nobody got his account hacked in cause of our tools.
We are selling our software since september 1996.
Our business is running fine and we want it to run fine in the future, too.
So be assured, there is no risk to use SpadeEye.

Closing tables on party after a fixed number of hands seems to import less hands then if you just let the program datamine without the option any fix to this?
Is it possible to make it so spadeit reopens random tables every 30min or so instead of closing tables after a number of hands.
This way you would get more people when you datamine.

Still wont work, AVG wont let me run it, trojan warning crap etc

anyone sort this yet??

Mr. Snood,

Once again a feature request: I play on Party 2/4 and 3/6 and would like to datamine both limits at the same time e.g. 7 tables 2/4 and 5 tables 3/6.

And it would be very nice if you could fix the "Close table if more than X player with Y hands on it"-bug.

Thanks in advance

I will probably replace the "number of hands" option by this.

Q regarding Spadeye and Party.

I'm thinking of switching to Party, have spadeye but read that it's banned by Party, as is datamining and I'm aware they actively scan your computer for any banned software. Can someone inform me as to how to get around this or what's the procedure for mining party with Spadeye?

Cheers

Snood, can you please add an option to display the table limit in the bottom window where all the players scanned are listed?
03-05-2008 , 12:13 AM
I don't know whether this is possible or anybody else would like the idea but i'd love it if when:

you added someone as a buddy on Spadeeye, it would change their note color to a certain color (whichever you specify), that way if you add a donk that you don't happen to play with that night and he comes to your table, or if your HUD is lagging, whatever the reason might be, the person is easily identifiable.
Just an idea.

EDIT:
realizing you have to have the table open for this to be remotely possible, you could do it lets say as an option of double clicking a players name, it will open that players table (just like it would) but would change his note color.

Mr Snood,
"You have 12 tables open already" is going crazy on Party again Also, any news on when we can import a buddylist to Holdem Manager, err and can you add amount won/lost to this feature.

In answer to the Party question I've datamined with SE forever and it isn't an issue.

Where did you read SpadeEye is banned?
It is not banned...
Hundreds of people (including me) are using it daily on Party...
There is no need to worry.

I guess we talk about a feature for FullTilt only?
As you said it's pretty much of a hassle to find the player, open the table, set its color.
I don't even know if it is easy to do this from the outside.
So up to now i don't like the idea :/

Sorry cant give an ETA yet, as my free time for the next 2 weeks is unpredictable .
The priority for the 3 points is:
1. 12 Tables bug
2. HM import
3. Won/Lost for import
