also nice to meet you off the tables. I respect your game a lot and it's always a pleasure to watch you play.
The tracker and the HUD have independent filters AFAIK.

Check HUD Options -> Additional HUD -> filter by date.

This will change once the HEM-stuff is finished and released.

The HEM scanner won't make SpadeEye obsolete.
SpadeEye offers something that the HEM-Scanner never will: Datamining.
+
SpadeEye supports PT3
= Thus it's still a cheaper alternative for people that play e.g. Party or FullTiltPoker only,
and/or use PT3,
and want to have datamining aswell.

Regarding your question:
There must be a difference in the active filters.

You have probably some filters enabled in your HEM-HUD,
or "Playerstatistics->display statistics by type of table" in SpadeEye.

You use HEM 1.08 (or newer)?

Yes, but a completely new Ongame client requires a completely new scanner.
Thus we need to rebuild the scanner engine from scratch => time intense.

Mr._Snood.

Thank you for getting back to me finally

Yes I use 1.08.04 HEM

I do have some filters but I don't think it should affect the stats I'm seeing differences on.

eg: My Spadeeye shows 5000 hands and vpip 30 pfr 10 on player A which would pass all my filters, then my HUD will show the same player with 2500 hands and 28 vpip pfr 8.

Any suggestions ?

also

I'm thinking of buying your telescope product but someone told me that it doesn't work as well as spade eye is that correct?

Thanks

- This is for PartyPoker or FullTiltPoker?

- Are all statistics screwed or only a few players?

- Do you use multiple HoldemManager databases,
like did you set/add the correct one in SpadeEye?

- Can you show me a screenshot of:
1) "main->options->databases" please?
2) DBControl Panel in HEM?

That's true.
It works "different" due to the fact that PokerStars works different than Party/Fulltilt.
Don't buy it, if you feel it's too slow or clumsy.
Wait another 1-2 weeks, until we release a major update...

Stats are almost all different for every player.

I will wait for the upgrade on Telescope any ETA ?

Thanks

In the screenshot I can see you use a PT3-DB aswell ?

Is this database empty?
Otherwise - I suppose - the additional stats come from there...

Uncheck the "active"-box beside the PT3-DB and retry please.

ETA: ~2 weeks

Will do thanks.

If I buy Telescope now will I qualify for the upgrade later ?

I'm thinking about buying SpadeEye to use for table selection, but I'm a little confused about what rooms are supported. I know, I know, you're probably going to say to look at their website, contact them, etc. Well according to their main web page, it looks like Bodog is not a supported poker room ... BUT the downloads page there are version updates & big fixes listed for Bodog. Hmmmm.

So does anyone know if, in fact, SpadeEye is compatible with Bodog? I emailed them directly a few days ago, but no response (which, btw, makes me a little hesitant about the product in general).

Also perhaps more importantly, does anyone out there use it and love it / hate it / prefer some other program? Thanks!

That's not sure yet, as pricing is not determined yet...
You'd better wait.
You can request a new trial period via email to support@spadeit.com
(include your "machinecode")

Unfortunately SpadeEye doesn't support Bodog anymore,
since Bodog replaced their client with a new one a few months ago.

Thanks Mr.Snood. Two other q's about features. (Sorry if these have been covered but I honestly can't find an answers to these)....

1) Is it possible to run SpadeEye for both Full Tilt & Ultimate Bet at the same time while both clients are open (and preferably see the results in the same window)?

2) Are there any plans to release a version that would support Cake network in the near future?

And 3) in response to your post above:

....Am I missing something here about the datamining feature, or is it in fact not possible to mine observed hands at a room with that client open, but to do so without the tables being actually open and without PT3 being open to observe those tables?? I can't get it to do that with the demo so far, and if that's the case it seems that Spade is really just a table selection program.

No, you'd have to run SpadeEye twice.

You can't datamine without observing the tables.

Sven,

I have purchased SpadeEye (for Hold'em) and absolutely love it. I use HoldemManager and now that they support Omaha (which I have purchased), I am interested in purchasing SpadeEye Omaha. I know that you have recently updated your SpadeEye Omaha software to support HoldemManager. I am currently using SpadeEye Omaha 1.15 in the trial period, but I am disappointed in this version of the software compared to SpadeEye for Holdem. I have noticed there are a lot of features that you have left out. No Semi-Smart Datamining, no highlighted tables in the scan telling you which tables are open, the complete automatic scan has issues (opens up tables when none are open and has no problem closing tables, but there seems to be issue reopening tables), the scanning of tables is sporadic (sometimes it works other times it doesn't), and the it doesn't show the total number of tables. If the SpadeEye Omaha worked as well as the SpadeEye (for Holdem) I would purchase the software, but as it stands it just doesn't seem to work well enough. I can't walk away from my computer and know that it has the maximum number of tables open. I know you are busy working with the Table Scanner on HoldemManager, but if you make a few improvements to the SpadeEye Omaha, you will have a repeat customer here. Thanks

I sent a personal email to you 6/17/09, I posted in your forum under feature request on 6/20/09, and posted here on 2+2 6/29/09, is there any way to get a response or are you just not interested in my business? I am a current customer of yours as mentioned above. I have been very patient but it has been almost three weeks and I am trying to decide what to do. This is my last attempt to get a response and then I will just have to assume that you are not as interested in supporting your product as you once were. Hopefully I hear back. Thanks
