just reimported 540k SNG hands into the new .85 beta. on my 2009 2.93GHz octad mac pro w/ 16GB RAM i got 4400 hands/s and like 85% of every core was used. this is because i have a couple of VMs running right now and they obv need CPU dedication, along with Safari, iTunes etc.

took a total of 2 minutes to import. whatever code optimization you made in this beta certainly worked.

Where do I get the dl for .85? Got .84 and very much looking forward to LHE testing. Also how can I get any crash reports to you Tactical Coder?

Thank you very much fo dis

Well, now that I've figured out how to adjust the HUD, and save those changes, this thing is pretty functional. Kudos!

(I'll answer to everyone who contacted me soon)

Thanks

A word of caution: it's still a beta so there a few bugs. For example one tester informed me that the PF3Bet stat was wrong and I've already fixed it (one line fix, silly mistake of mine), but the fix ain't distributed yet (it's going to be in the next beta).

Now if things are difficult to figure out I'd really like feedback on that: ideas as to how I could simplify/make things more obvious would be very welcome. Or simply reports as to what people didn't find at once.

Then the other important thing: if you make a custom layout you like, take a screenshot of it for the HUD layout format shall change before 1.0 and it won't be compatible with the current format, so you won't be able to re-use your old layouts.

More fonts / customization options (like labels colors and opacity) / stats are on their way

First of all all records have been broken: a betatester with a nice setup made some test with at 2 million 6-Max cash games DB on PokerStars:

2 032 409 hands imported in 1 minute 58 seconds, or approximately 17 200 hands / s. Including AIEV computation...

Granted, it was on an octo-core but still, it's a very nice number

Limit is only supported on PokerStars in the version you have, but I'll add fixed limit for Full Tilt of course, it shall not take long because now that PS limit is supported Full Tilt limit shall really be trivial.

Every crash should be detected by Xypto and hence you should have a window popping up. I'd love a screenshot of that window by email at support.xypto at gmail dot com (email addy shall change once I get my google for domains set up but I'll redirect this adress too).

Note that I detect anormal behavior and actually force a crash to make sure to detect corner cases/weird things. Once 1.0 shall approach, I'll take a different approach and try to make Xypto "self healing": instead of crashing, it shall warn the user that something weird happened and that it's going to try to workaround the problem.

Tried Beta 0.85 today on my Macbook Pro (2,5ghz, 4gb ram)

I imported about 300k hands Ongame, importspeed was ~3340 Hands/s

2 Things:

1) The Ongame hands were listed as WAN or WAM, I don't remember anymore.
2) It's not possible to review specific hands right now correct? I have the Overview and Sessions tab, but nowhere I can actually review a hand

Good catch, I've got to change this... It's WAM, short for Winamax, an Ongame skin that has quite some traction in France (I'm a native french speaker btw). I'll change this to 'ONG'.

Btw there's no HUD for Ongame yet, it's much more complicated than for PS / FT due to the way the Mac Ongame client has been written.

Well you can already review/replay hands where there's been an all-in called before the river (that is: any hand for which there's been an AIEV adjusted computation):

1. go to the Sessions tab
2. put your mouse over a value in the "$EV" column (a tooltip should appear saying something like "5 deals corresponded to this AIEV adjusted computation)
3. right click on that same value (a popup menu shall open, allowing to "open 5 deals in the replayer")

Graphics are "programmer art" (I made them myself) and quite ugly but the values should be correct. There are a few 'one cent off' errors in the equities reported but otherwise computations should all be correct.

I'll make the replayer more easily accessible and allow to replay entire sessions etc.

Hi!

I'd like to beta test. Can you send me an invitation?

Thanks!!!
11-22-2009 , 07:18 AM
Invites sent to those who asked.

Fixed Limit is now working for Full Tilt too.

M factor/ratio has been added for the tourney/SnG HUD.
11-22-2009 , 08:59 AM
I'd be interested in beta testing.
11-22-2009 , 12:33 PM
Hi TacticalCoder!

I'd also like to beta test. Please send me an invitation as well.

Thanks
11-23-2009 , 12:56 PM
People have been asked for this so now it's been added...

HUD can now be configured to show 'M' stat, 'Effective M' and 'Stack in BB':

Invites sent...

If anyone has a super-balla setup the record to break is 17 000+ hands/s to import two millions No-Limit Hold'em 6-max hands in less than two minutes

I would gladly help out testing your software

Mail me at lmyrefelt ( @ ) me.com

Thanks!

I'd happily help out with this beta.
email is narrowfellow at gmail dot com

Hi Tactical! Would love to test and help. Thanks.
11-25-2009 , 07:09 PM
Hi,

Can I beta test too?
11-25-2009 , 08:21 PM
Hi Tactical, I would love to beta test the software as it's difficult to find a decent program for Macs. My email is stebo7386@gmail.com, thanks for the opportunity.
11-28-2009 , 03:51 PM
Invites sent.

If you block PM make sure to put your email...

Now the "color range" can be applied to any stat, including "M", "Effective M" and "Stack in BB" stats.

Here's the color range editor configured to assign red/orange/yellow/green colors depending on the M factor:

Labels can now have, if you want, any background color and any opacity, making stats much easier to read (simply set an opacity of 0% to have no background color).

I would love to help you out with the beta of this product. I play on Stars, FTP (sometimes), and UB if you ever decide to support that (which you should, imo).

PM me, you won't be blocked.

Before I invest a lot of time in tweaking my HUD layout again, will it persist from session to session? Could it potentially persist from update to update?

From session to session it is persisted (as long as you save it), like before, but and from update to update, it depends on the update

Seriously, the format may still change one more time before 1.0 but it's not even sure so if you spend time making a new layout now you'll be good to go for a while.

I suggested to everybody (?) to take a screenshot of their layouts if they made something they liked as to be able to quickly reproduce it when the format changes.

Sorry for the inconvenience but it's for such reasons that it's still a beta

Note that if you make a good looking layout I may be interested: I plan to ship much more default layouts than the few simple ones present in the beta as of now...
11-29-2009 , 05:44 PM
When you ship UB you will be completely ballin imo.
