Still monitoring but it seems like the problem is fixed now.

On a different note, when I try to export my list I get a "Export players error. Bitmap region already locked" error?

does smart buddy work only for cash tables ? What about play money tables on pokerstars ? after all we don't all play for cash . i dl the free trial but can never get anyone showing up whether they are on a table on or off hide .

I downloaded the trial version but none of the players that I added are showing on line. I can search for them and know the are not blocked and they are playing.

I like the idea but...

any ideas

What poker site are you adding players from? I am not showing any issues on our end.

Can you add an option so we

A) Could add an alert sound when a player already online is now showing up on a table he wasn't on before

B) Add a new color (just like you did for when a new player logs in) for when a player already online is now showing up on a table he wasn't on before

I am sitting next to players on my list, but its showing them offline. This is on Stars.

He's absolutely right --- same exact thing was happening to me for my trial. The software flat out did NOT function.

I've experienced some problems with crypto today. When a new player popped in as logging in, at the same time a player was announced as logging out even if he wasn't. It took a few minutes for that player to come back in and he would dissapear again when another player would log in...

I just installed this today, and I absolutely love the IDEA of this design and software, but the posts here have me concerned, and I have already noticed a few brief outages and delays.

I mainly play on FTP, is there anyone that uses this primarily for FTP that is happy with it? at least 80% happy? an 80% solution is fine, I can use Full Tilt Buddies as a kludgy backup.

I've been using Smart Buddy on PS and FT since it came out earlier this year and am very happy with it especially in light of all the enhancements (PT integration, export/import features) and very good support. Certainly beats anything else on the market especially PS and FT native searches.

Reliability is much better now. There was a problem earlier with buddies not showing up or the list of tables being incomplete but it seems to have been resolved. I notice Poker Pro appears to be banned now. Anyone know why?

He posted a link about our new free product Top Shark and was banned. Emiled 2p2 3 times with no response as of yet.
Even the TOS states you will be banned if you ignore our warning. He is still waiting for the initial warning or response to the emails.

Anyone know where the buddy list is stored?? I just tried to log on and my list is gone??? It just shows default buddylist 0/0, Watchlist 0/0 and Stars list 2/122... All of my lists are gone????

Anybody have this happen to them??

This file is stored on your computer at the following location : C:\Documents and Settings\ User Name \Local Settings\Application Data\Poker Pro Labs\ Smart Buddy \ config . xml

Not sure how this could happen. Also make sure you have show active players (F5) off when looking.

I just started trying this out and it seems very spotty thus far. For instance I added a friend of mine on Stars and it's always correct in notifying me that he's on, but when it tells me the table, 2/4 times it's been wrong. For instance it told me he was playing at Newtonia and in he was really at Libra V. When I pull up the client to the list of tables I see that Newtonia and Libra V are very close together on my list. I added someone and it found him on 5 tables, only 3 of which he was actually at.

Is this a known issue, something that is going to be fixed, or is there a better buddy software for Stars & FTP?

They are planning to start hosting players on the server (or give you the option to do so) so the response time will be much better.

Hosting players on the server will be nice. I worked with support and could never get the import buddies option to work properly on my new computer. I ended up typing in a few hundred names manually after giving up.
