Great program.

However, I have a problem. Whenever I tried to load the StarsPlanner, the tables went nuts and kept blinking in the top left corner. I tried editing the StarsPlannerConfigureLayoutGUI with
[1][4][7]
[2][5][8]
[3][6][9] and it doesn't work.


I also tried:

I just upgraded to the latest version (0.4c in title bar) and I'm still getting the table swaps.

I hand edited the .ini file to have my tables set up "perfectly," but thought that may be the problem. So I went through the standard configuration process and now have the following as my layout.

I am still getting the tables swapping with just a click on one of the action buttons.

My layout is:

34 5
12 6 (1234 = Left 1200x1600 Monitor)

I have only observed clicking on table 1 and it insta-swaps w/ table 3 -OR- table 2 swaps w/ 4. It is not me moving the mouse slightly while the mouse button is down.

I also find it extremely difficult to get tables to swap when I want them too, except for 1 &amp; 3 and 2 &amp; 4. I can't swap tables 3 &amp; 2, etc. I also can't move table 2 into an empty slot 4.

I have resorted to getting my tables set up and then unchecking the "arrange" tables when I actually play.

If table 2 jumps to empty slot 4, I have to open up a table that gets put in slot 2 to get it back in place. Then I can close the unwanted table in slot 4.

dave, what happened to the auto-waitlist and auto-take you to the table feature that was in the older version? it isn't doing it for me anymore...

Seems the waiting list pop-up is the latest victim of Stars new "invisible-to-AHK" pop-up windows, grrr.

I'm gonna have to sleep (very) soon, I'll have a new one up tomorrow night to care of these irritations - at least the window title "Waiting List" is distinctive, we can still spot them

I think I'll do anything with a window title of "Table...." also, seems to be only the "are you sure to leave this table" pop-up uses that, and it is irritating the hell outa me last few days - I clicked leave table didn't I??? of course I am sure! I should probably let people enable/disable that via variable setting, do those prone to misclicks won't suffer leaving their Jesus seats by accident

One of the recent Stars updates broke the Join Wait List pop-up buster. I had to remove ",Join waiting list for table" from the IfWinExist and WinGet commands to get it to work. Window Spy does not see this text!

If table swapping does not work reliably, there is likely something wrong with your layout ini file - post the contents &amp; I will fix it for you

If anyone is going to try and steal my top secret, copyrighted, totally custom layout....ah, nevermind.

Correct the typo! I plan on testing the layout later tonight.

Default easy, minimum not so easy, but possible.

I know I'm not gonna convince you you buy in for the max (although you should) default good enough, or minimum required?

as per another poster's suggestions i was able to get auto-waitlisted, but can't get auto-taken to table when it's my spot. any suggestions on what to REM out/delete?

You fixed my .ini file earlier. It would be nice to know what is wrong with our files so if I want to change my setup I can do it myself without having to bother you. (My 'auto-swap tables' problems has gone away entirely! THANKS!!!)

A couple semi-problems I have noticed.

If I open up PokerStars, then open PokerTracker, then start StarPlanner...StarPlanner doesn't move PS to the correct 'slot' and sometimes moves the PS lobby 'slot' to the default PS position (center of screen 1).

If I open up PS, then StarsPlanner, it works perfectly. Then I can open up everything else and it works fine. Does StarsPlanner depend on PS lobby being the active window when it opens? And why does StarsPlanner change my .ini file without me specifically trying to change my layout?

Also, sometimes when I rebuy chips it 'hangs' on the 'how many chips' screen.

You can see the HMC screen being made active, then the PS lobby being made active, and back and forth very quickly.

It is almost like StarsPlanner...

looks for the HMC window
finds it
then StarsPlanner interrupts itself
looks for the lobby
finds it
then looks for the HMC window again
rinse and repeat over and over.

If I point to the 'OK' button in the HMC window and click very, very quickly, over and over I can get it to go away, but the lobby is taking focus so quickly I have to do it over and over again. (Takes me about 10 to 15 mouse clicks, all within 1/2 second)

Don't make these issues a high priority. I can live with them. Great program, along with the others! Keep up the good work. We all appreciate the work you do!

I can't see any errors in your layout... what sort of troubles are you having? What should the layout look like - 4x2 tables across two 1600x1200 displays, with 4 more tables stacked on a third monitor to the right?
