Piosolver 1 seems to put ranges in classic syntax and monker cannot read those. Does any1 have a same problem?

Hey Guys, I'm really having trouble using the software,wanted to checkout the viewer, was not receiving the email with the temporary password , emailed support, got a reply after several days that it should work now, was able to log in- But only once, since then can't login again and can't find a reset password option. Hello, is solver worked with amd epyc CPUs? My server with 2*7601 and 8ch 2400 ram works like old 2*2680v2 + 64 gb dual ch ddr3
And monker sees only 45 cores of 128, tryed win 2012r2, 10, 11

I'd like to know if could point me any direction about the syntax to create custom rake structures in Monker, would be a great help I could also grab a coaching session or something if you find it a problem to answer this one. I'm looking for a strucutre where monker only takes rake if the open flop has >5bb.

I am just about to buy monker solver, before I do so, I’d be grateful if someone could help me with a few questions, thank you in advance!

1. Will 128gb of ram be enough for PLO pre flop, for 10-30bb?

2. Will 128gb of ram be enough if hero has 10bb and all villains have 100bb?

3. I am planning to run monker on the cloud, if I find 128gb of ram isn’t enough, is it easy to move your license key to another PC?

dhursty, depends on the tree. You didn't specify how many people. In general, 128 is very good for small preflop. but preflop 100bb 6 max doesn't count.

2. Probably.. depends on how many villains. Should keep in mind that you're essentially asking for a 100bb solution here. Anecdotally I've been able to run roughly 4way 100bb solutions with 32GB of ram. With this in mind it's possible to essentially node lock strategies and expand out to solve as much as full ring, you'd just have to be somewhat patient.

On the bright side you'd likely have to negotiate a similar strategy to manage RAM for anywhere between 5-6 players as the game tree really rapidly balloons as the possibility of multiway postflop spots increases.

3. This I don't know. The language in the TOS seemed somewhat harsh in that I read it as two activations no refunds. I've also heard numerous rumblings about slow responses from the support team. I'd be cautious here.

Is there a way to make Board Overview work for flops scripts in PLO/PLO8 (similar to Pio aggregate reports?)

I'm using version 2.1.9 and saving the files for storage up to the turn. Board Overview works within the files for each turn, however not for all flop strategies for any/all boards in the script.

hi sorry if this has been covered couldn't find it in search feature - does anyone know why sometimes under solve, the hands list will sometimes show suits and other times be fully greyed out? ty

I believe it's to reduce the size of the solution and make calculation faster. It will grey out irrelevant suits e.g. if the flop is heart heart spades, then clubs and diamond are greyed out.

How you guys entering PLO ranges? Any easy range selector tools(visual or text, percentage based)?
How to view strategies and actions in PLO, Holdem gives you nice grids but PLO and PLO8 are not that easy

could you expand how to write PLO ranges in Monker by percentage:
lets say:

top 25% just wright 25% in Monker?

(top 25% minus top 5% )- in Monker is it 25%5% ?

What are good or acceptable Iterations/Nodes, Volatility for preflop and postflop solutions?

In Monker. When running Preflop Holdem or PLO sims in settings Keep EV on (streets): is it mandatory to choose 3 or 1 is enough?

Also, what about buckets and texture?

What about setting "Keep average strategy" why would you pick 1, 2 or 3. Other than time and hardware limitations

How come? Is this recommendation assuming that the work is being done across a small portion of system resources? Wouldn't it be preferable to peg the process(s) to specific clusters of cores?

I'm not sure which rake (%) to put.
If the rake is 5% and I have 50% rakeback. Should I put 2.5% rake on monkersolver? Or should I keep 5% regardless of how much rakeback I get?

It is up to you but I would put effective rake

How can i see frequencies in monkerview when loading preflop sims, all i see in EV in BB per action when hovering over range viewer at least this is what happens for NLH preflop sims not sure about PLO

Rake. Using blinds 0.5 and 1(200NL). Rake is 5% and max 1$. In Monker I should put 5% and 500 mchip?

Figured it out - it is 1000 mchip
It would be nice to be able to set diferent rake based on players in a hand because sites have higher rake in multiway pots.
