Flop solution is based on turn and river. You can decrease buckets/use smaller trees/fewer bet sizes to get the RAM down. Hope this helps!

Thanks. Yes, deleting the turn and river would be foolish.

No problem man. I’m new to using Monker as well. If you’re interested, I’m looking to have a study partner of sorts to help learn the ins and outs of the system. Let me know if you’re interested.

It would be difficult, I have some problems with English) you can handle it anyway.

I have one wish for the program, but I don't know if it is possible or not. There are big demands in plo. And it would be great to be able to change the texture on the turn (small, medium, large, perfect) in calculations from the flop, as from preflop.

You can add additional abstraction for postflop in PLO from the settings tab. Check the Monkerware website for more details here.

nm the above just realized I can use poker juice ranges

is it worth buying the full version of monker solver with my comp? I have a ryzen 4800H so lots of processing power but only 16 gb of ram. I can upgrade that to 32 or 64 tho. I'm looking to do PLO sims.

my comp is the msi bravo 15.

re: MonkerSolver

why is adding cold calls in a plo tree so dang difficult?! ive tried filtering for SPR but to no success.
i want to add CC to all spots vs a single raise, but if there is a 3b or squeeze then i dont want calls added.
example: EP open, all positions have option to just call. ( as well as 3B,fold,etc)
EP opens, MP 3B, i do not want calls added, either 4b or fold.

could i be calculating STPR wrong?
this is how i did it..
assuming 1/2 blinds 200stack

unopened : 200/3 = 66.66
1 open : 200/10 = 20
1 open + 1 coldcall : 200/17 = 11.764
1 open + 3 coldcall : 200/31 = 6.451
1 open + 1 3bet : 200/34 = 5.882

i add filter for preflop with 100% sizing for all options, 5 coldcalls and minSTPR=6.44
with those settings : EP open, MP 3B.. CO,SB,BB ALL have option to "call","fold" but no 4B??!!

someone please tell me what im doing wrong or how to fix it?

re: MonkerSolver

Hi, is it possible to run the program from command line or otherwise programmatically automate solving many flops?

Is it possible to automatically export the solutions to a text file?

Thanks

re: MonkerSolver

I'm looking for a more efficient way to build trees that don't include bets that are less than the big blind postflop. I encounter this issue when calls are allowed pre-flop, and my post-flop actions include something like 25%. 25% will add bets postflop that are less than min-bet. Ideally, the tree-building in Monker Solver would support logic where min bet is applied when an X% bet is less than a min bet. However, it currently doesn't seem to. Does anyone here have a tree-building workflow that they like?

My current workaround implements different Saved Filters. One filter has the 25% bet. The other filter uses BET instead of 25%. Unfortunately, I still have to manually go through all my tree nodes, applying or deleting nodes. Additionally, I need to delete BET lines on the turn and river and spawn lines using the BET(chip/%) checkbox since BET sizes bets assuming a LHE bet structure. (Note that I've tried the MIN action in my custom filter, but MIN only applies raises - not initial bets. And even then, I still would need to deal with a lot of manual tree reversal)

The simplest way to prevent Monkersolver from adding cold-calls to 3-bets+ is to first add your bets for a single raise, and then to add a separate filter for 3-bets+ with cold-calling set to 1. For example:

First add 100;0 for preflop without restrictions, then add 0;100 with CC=1 for 3-bet+ situations.

Monkersolver does not support CLI, but the software has an integrated scripting function that you can launch from the GUI. It doesn't export the results to a text file for you however. Files are saved to .mkr format.

If you don't want bets to be added when the bets would be illegal, you need to set a restriction based on the STPR from the custom filter, so that whenever the STPR is below a certain threshold, bets less than 50% are not added.

re: MonkerSolver

How do I get the non-normalized ranges out of Monker?

These are non-normalized:

When I click on "call" to bring up the range viewer, it's normalized by default--I don't want that, I want the real frequencies

re: MonkerSolver

I am wanting to write a program to automate the creation of my filters. When I open one of my saved filters from "monkersolver/filters" in a text editor it appears to be encrypted as shown:

" sr java.util.Properties9zp6> L defaultst Ljava/util/Properties;xr java.util.Hashtable%!J F
loadFactorI thresholdxp?@ w
t under3sr java.lang.Boolean r՜ Z valuexp t maxsprsr java.lang.DoubleJ)k D valuexr java.lang.Number xpt riversq ~ t minsprsq ~ t flopq ~ t overcallssr java.lang.Integer 8 I valuexq ~ t apt 43%;84%;51%t over2q ~ t turnq ~ t donkq ~ t playersur [IM`&v겥 xp t preq ~ t
streetbetssq ~ xp"

Is it possible to create filters externally and then have Monker be able to read them?

re: MonkerSolver

Did anybody else have unexpected access to a number of sims in their Cloud folder for months, and now (just as unexpectedly and inexplicably) just an empty Cloud folder?

My memory is that, initially, I had access to like two sims in the cloud... and then it increased to like eight (including a 100bb PLO sim that I sure appreciated not needing to run or buy myself)... and now nothing.

These were removed from the stable version, but you can still access them in the BETA.

In Monkerviewer 1.3 I can see Omaha ranges, so if you are using a version older than that, you could try updating your version.

I am unable to access a machine that has an active monker license. How do I go about reclaiming that license / de-activating the other machine?

Hi,

To run 6max plo preflop sim (full pot pre. 2-3 bet sizing post), how much ram do I need?
I don't want to reduce the setting or cut the tree down.

I am deciding between 256gb and 512gb server.

Neither will do what you want. The tree youre describing would require terabytes of ram.

preflop sims are only good for solving preflop. multiple bet sizings post flop will give the same preflop results as 1 sizing. if you want to solve post flop streets, that's where the sim should start.
