I get that error anytime I use monker while I have VPN running. As soon as I turn off VPN, it works, so maybe try that?

I turned off vpn and even firewall and still nothing.

Looking into solvers after a few years away from the game.

Is a computer with 32gb of ram and a 3.5Ghz 8 core processor, enough horsepower to solve NLHE 6max preflop ranges, with Monker?

Ok after what feels like DAYS of searching..I found out why my PLO solves keep giving me "error : out of memory" it's in here around 2017 I believe but it's because omaha has to build postflop tables. They cost 15gb of ram, so if you have 30gb available ram, and you build a tree that is 25gb, you will get the "error: out of memory ".

Just remember when building PLO you have to subtract 15gb from your ram and that will be your max tree size. I have 32gb ram, so my max tree size is 15gb ( need 2GB for background)

You can only calculate limited NLHE 6-max ranges with 32 GB RAM.

Are you able to run Monkersolver on a second machine, but on the same network? If you can sign into Monker from that machine, then reinstalling your operating system on your current machine may work. I know this might not be ideal, but I have found this to resolve the issue whilst other solutions don't always seem to be effective. I'm assuming that you have previously been able to log into Monkersolver, but then it stopped working. To be safe, you may also want to avoid installing Monkersolver to the 'Program Files' directory. Hope that helps.

You need to select a new NLHE postflop tree from the 'Tree' tab, then specify board cards in the 'Solve' tab, and then the RAM estimate will display. No need to estimate RAM.

I think I've encountered a Monkersolver bug. Steps to reproduce

1. Open a sim & keep raising until one of the players is facing an allin



2. Click on the "Fold" header to open the Save As dialog and select Strategy and finally Copy to Clipboard



3. Paste it into a text editor. As you can see, the output is weird with lots of 0.5 and Infinity hands



4. If you check the hands in the filter, you'll see these are zero combo hands i.e. the player should not be holding combos of these hands



It seems to be happening only when in facing allin spots. All other spots appear to be fine.

I have observed the same. Even a little bit more general:
With handcombos which mix between multiple actions, there is sometimes a discrepancy between the weights/combos in monker solver view and the information in the exported ranges.

When exporting as strategy or when exporting as range?

Can someome show me how to build a simple tree for hu plo. I cant seem to make it so it check or bets. This software doesnt feel very user friendly

Also for searching combos what syntax do people use? Easy for nl but kind of lost doing it with plo. Any help greatly appreicated

how to calculate ante properly? if I put ante amount on the dead money box then it will not calculate all the times the player loses chips by folding his hand. Any advice?

Hey, I bought full gametree GTO solution for preflop by Jnandez like 2 years ago. Have not been grinding PLO since and was just getting into it again. Any of you guys have had the same problem? I did update to the newest version of monkersolver can this be the problem? Since these ranges were created on of the earliest versions of monkersolver.

hello, im having a problem with running preflop NLHE , Im using a server and afteri build and run my tree the solver status stops at reading mmnestedriver.30, it doesn't freeze, just nothing happens from here. Postflop sims seem to work fine. Also when I save my preflop trees I can't load them anymore. any ideas? thx

Also for a nodelocked sim do i have to run it to the same amount of Iterations/Nodes as a regular sim?
