I'm interested in buying monkersolver.
Can someone answer the question why there is no support here anymore?
I mean the developer team should be interested in writing here to support their software.
Therefore I'm also wondering if there are any software updates and if monkersolver is trustworthy at all.
Would be nice if someone can help me with my decision.

how long does a 6 max hold em preflop solution take for 100 bb? 150 bb?
hu 100 bb?
Just curious whether to buy presolved solutions or buy monker and run it on my server with 20 core and 256 ram
thank you

It really depends on what accuracy you are solving at, what your objectives are from the solve and who you are buying ranges from (what is the quality of the data). There are multiple ways to set up game trees, and solve. Usually game trees that require more RAM will take longer to solve.

That being said, I'd say to get a higher accuracy solution for 100 and 150bb 6m and 100bb HU would require a little under 2 months to do on the server, such as you described.

For 5/10 Pokerstars rake with 5/10 blinds in monkersolver should I use 4.5% rake with 3000 rake mchip cap?

Yes, this is correct if you are solving for situations where there are 5 or more players dealt into the hand.

I'm guessing the answer to this is 'no' but I'll ask anyway: is there any way to save progress during a long solve so as not to get wrecked by a power outage?

Yes, you can save the progress of a solve using the 'Save' or 'Save as ...' button from within the 'Solve' tab.

I'm trying to build my first postflop tree. I saved some ranges from a preflop sim. Ranges-> drag-and-dropping the .rng files isn't working. What am I doing wrong?

The .rng files are intended for use with Monkerviewer. I would suggest you open your solve with another instance of Monker, and then copy the files either directly to your postflop game tree, or you can save them to a .txt file and then drag those into Monkersolver.

Thanks. In case others search for this....

I opened the .rngs in a text editor and then copy/pasted everything into the range box. drag+dropping a .txt file did not work.

First copy the PPT ranges by right-clicking the title bar for the spot you are interested in.

Copy the files to a .txt file, and save it. Then you can drag and drop the file into the ranges field.

As you can see in the picture, the range for the BB has now changed from 100% to 34.0%.

Isaac, are you working for Monker? If so, why is Monker not responding to emails at all? A friend of mine emailed him twice about his license, which he lost after formatting his computer. He never received a response.

hey i have a question about interpreting exported ranges. my flop is AsQsTs and the hand im looking at is Ah9s8s7s (for example). when i dont have any filter applied and export a calling range for oop after donking it says Ah9s8s7s,0.2386835113931256,6008.211021259391
which i interpret as i should be calling 23.9% of the time with this hand? but the hand is not present at all in the folding or reraising range, and when i filter for this specific hand and export the calling range its Ah9s8s7s,1.0,16264.49899503001

so my question is how should i interpret the 23.9% for the hand in the first range? i was under the impression that all action frequencies for a specific hand would always add up to 100% across fold/call/raise... can someone tell me what im misunderstanding?

thanks in advance and sorry for noob question, just bought the solver a couple of days ago

I'm not affiliated with Monkerware.

A Monkersolver license is tied to your Monker account. It is stored in the cloud.

What do you mean by calling range for OOP after donking? It sounds like you are saying that OOP leads, IP raises and then OOP has to decide whether to call or fold. Is this correct?

Your EV should be the same for both spots, I'm not sure why it's higher if you filter for the hand individually. If I replicate what you are doing, I get the same EV for the filtered and unfiltered spot.

The first number is the weight, as you can probably tell from the output file. If you don't filter for a specific hand, then this is 'Probability' x 'Combos'. If you filter for a specific hand, and copy the csv, then the weight shows as 1.0.

How are people using this in combination with piosolver for NL holdem? My intitial thoughts are using monker for preflop ranges and then plugging those ranges into pio for postflop play. (since most postflop play is hu)

Also, from the trial version, I can't seem to get my cpu usage to go much higher than 30% on my threadripper. Is this just how the software works?

Anybody know how much gb of ram it might take to solve a preflop tree of 9 players all of which are 250bb deep? How about 6max?

The full version will definitely utilize more than 30% of your CPU on Threadripper. Have you tried increasing your 'Threads' by hitting '+' from within the 'Solve' tab?

For NLHE? At a reasonable accuracy, 9-max 250bb will be beyond the scope of what you can solve for currently.
For 6-max NLHE this deep, I would recommend a server with a RAM capacity of 512 GB of RAM or more.
