Right-click the title bar of the range you want to export, and then 'Copy to clipboard'. In your new postflop game tree, you will be able to paste the range from the 'Ranges' menu item.

A player does not lose chips by folding his hand, since all prior bets represent a sunk cost. You are simply referring to the way the EV of the hand is being displayed. This will not affect the correct strategy if that is what you are concerned about.

Any of you guys have had the same problem? I did update to the newest version of monkersolver can this be the problem? Since these ranges were created on of the earliest versions of monkersolver.

Happy with all the help I can get!
I can't say for sure, but it looks like it would either be a form of file corruption, or as you say an issue with perhaps ranges that were created in an early version of the solver. Corruption doesn't seem so likely, since the file would usually show up an error during loading. What you could try is loading the entire file, and then resaving it from the current version of the solver, and see if that fixes your problem.

You can setup a server with Google Cloud for free, for example. Here is a description on how to do that (no affiliate).

Thanks again for the help
I'm not sure which second column you are referring to.

I would recommend keeping the amount of I/N the same with a locked node.

Resetting resets the strategy averages and EV. This is necessary if you are tracking those numbers (calculating avg strategy and EV in 'Settings'), since they are otherwise skewed by early, random and lower EV strategies.

Have you tried a fresh install of Monkersolver? If mmnestedriver.30 isn't loading properly, then perhaps that file is corrupted.

This could be an issue with an antivirus or firewall. Also it could be a Windows 10 issue. A lot of people are having problems with the current Windows updates.

The only thing I've found so far that has definitely resolved the problem was reinstalling Windows. Anything else has been inconsistent.
You can also try opening Monkersolver from a different directory. I've noticed that I wasn't able to open Monkersolver on a machine with this error, but then it worked from a backup in a different location.

The solver displays strategy (frequency), EV and then combos. Going from left to right.

Thanks Have a few more questions

So why are some hands that are unnodelocked signifcantly -EV like KJ hand in post #1 in the middle column for the calling range?

In post #2 how can i force OOP to x all hands on a future street whenever they are taking a passive line like calling (do i just remove the all in node decision?)?

In your first example, KJ is slightly +EV. 0 EV in this instance is -12,000, so at -11,862, this equates to a profitability of 6.9 bb/100.

Yes, in your second example, the easiest way would be to remove the option to bet for that situation in which you want the player to check all hands.

There is sporadic support.

Not sure if this is your issue, but here is the website where you can download Java:

https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

You need 'Windows Offline (64-bit)'.

You can copy the directory from one install to another computer if you are having trouble accessing the download.

I'm having the same issue with trying to sign into MonkerSolver to download the program on a new computer. What is going on with the site? When I try to login, it times out due to lack of site response. So, how can I download the program on a new computer?

Hey, new to running solves. Was wondering what would the minimum system requirements be to running a full 6max game tree, and how long does this typically take?

Thanks.

hey! just bought monker and trying it out with some simple HUNL solves, when doing so the ev always shows negative for btn and positive for BB in a non-rake scenario(for example -3.5 ev btn, 3.5 ev bb). What's going wrong here? The solution itself seems to be right when compared to other ranges I have, just the ev thing that is bugging me.

Is there no way to adjust the possible starting hands preflop? I know that it's not the intended purpose, but for specific reasons I would like to be able to adjust the possible starting hand PLO possibilities (trying to use it as more of a query tool for sizings post, not get perfect pre ranges).

Say I wanted to start out the pot as a 4 bet pot then sim preflop from there, is that not possible, any workarounds?

I purchased and downloaded the installer on my server

When I try to open the installer, it won't open at all. I have Java installed.

I have disabled all firewall and security settings.

What else should I try to troubleshoot to get the installer to open?

Your question is too unspecific. There are a lot of different types of possible 6-max game trees possible with Monkersolver.

Here on the Monkerware website you can find some example trees with RAM estimates.

I would recommend emailing the developer with your issue at support@monkerware.com. Make sure to use an appropriate title for your email.

You could create a scenario where the appropriate SPR is achieved preflop, for the flop, whilst restricting the ranges that reach that node in the game tree such that they reflect 4BP ranges. You will have to lock in the ranges from the running sim to achieve this.

Have you tried running the installer as administrator? Right-click "run as administrator"? Just running the installer shouldn't require network activity.

Thanks this link was helpful. I would assume the tree I'm looking to run would require a bit more RAM (maybe a lot more) than the medium PLO example.

So basically what I'm looking to run is a tree that allows for flatting from every position pre 120bbs deep (I play mostly Blitz on ACR) and 2 bet sizes on each street.

hey, I found a solution for you:

right click the installer, go to properties, general tab, at the very bottom there is a section for Security, check the unblock box

me and a friend had same issue

It's possible that you are trying to load too much data when you start Monkerviewer. Perhaps move the data from your 'ranges' file to a backup, and try to start Monkerviewer then. If that works, I would recommend only copying the relevant files back into your 'ranges' folder. Monkerviewer can become overloaded if there is too much data to load at start.

A game tree like that would require over 1 TB of RAM to solve.

Holy crap. Didn't realize the exponential increase in necessary RAM each decision point adds. Thanks for your help!
