Thanks for the reply Isaac, I had already tried this before, the issue with this is that while it gets the blinds and everything correct, it makes the button act first almost as if it is a straddle, I want the HJ to act, then the CO who posted and I get the preflop correct with 10,20,0,20,0 for this, but I cannot get the players to act in the correct order.

Having trouble comparing strategies.
What im trying to do is see the Ev loss for 1 bet sizing approach compared to a two bet size approach to attempt simplify strat like they have done in nl on certain boards. i want to quantify the exact ev loss. i believe in nl cbetting range on certain textures cost them less than 1% in pot share. which im not sure how significant that would be in the grand scheme of things in terms of winrate or bb/100.

My Example: we are hero on btn, this is 3bet pot 100bb sb v btn. sb chks to btn QT5ss, we are comparing bet size 100% only v 50%,100% by btn.

so i run the sims and obv 2 bet size approach is better in terms of btns ev. btn 937bb/100 sb 1333bb/100 so a 41.3% pot share(am i doin this correctly, 937+1333/937=pot share?)? to 925bbb/100 btn to sb 1347bb/100 40.8% pot share.

The problem:
Monker is clairvoyant i cant compare the evs because the sb oop strat changes based on knowing what i the btn will do. in the strat where i only bet pot the sb will chk 36% to me and when i have a more gto approach 2 bet sizes the sb will check 27%, this change will make my comparison invalid. i want the sb to play gto as if i was going to have 2 betsize approach to see what my pot share loss is if i deviate and just use a simpler pot or check strat

the only solution to start a new sim and nodelock the sb play so it mirrors from the btn gto 2 bet size approach into my 1 bet size approach to compare ev loss but the problem is i cant just copy and paste the like the sb check column into the syntax and foce to only call because of all the mixing?. like a 50% bet or 50% check hand in the gto check column will become 100% check if i force it to check in the node lock version. this will be the same of every column that has mixing hands. we will lose that mix

how would i go about accomplishing this toy game to compare ev loss like this from a bet sizing prospective.

I have excellent resources when it comes to PLO. A good way to study is to find the correct preflop ranges, save them and then solve for different flops. You can further simplify by removing bet sizes and donks when they are barely used.

Anyone know if range converter will do any sort of package deal and just give you access to all of their sims for one price. Like pay 3k for all of it or something?

100bb 6-max NLHE with one opening size preflop and one 3-bet size having let's say 2 sizes on flop turn and river is doable, much more so when branching out some cold calls and overcalls and donk bets. Reaching I/N=20 might take a week.

For PLO if you are interested in preflop, you might not want to branch out calls and donk bets as much. This kind of sim takes about 1-2 weeks. It's best to first make a very simple tree and make sure it works rather than letting server crunch numbers for 2 weeks and then realise you missed that flop check-raise part of the tree.

100bb PLO HU comes rather fast, perhaps in 2 days.

About how much RAM would it take to solve 4-player limit holdem, 4 bet cap, BTN and CO can only open raise or fold? And 6-player?

I'm considering buying, but I would like to know what sort of hardware requirements there are first.

4 bet cap makes the tree giant, I doubt even 1000 GB RAM would suffice even with minimal buckets and abstraction. You can probably get a reasonable approximation of heads up with the best rentable servers out there.

I think about buying a MS. Will it work on 8-GB RAM laptop?

Is it possible to parse the MKR file (cannot figure out the format)? I'd like to better analyze the postflop tree.

I'm trying to export ranges from Monker into PPT in order to obtain a breakdown by hand type: Set, trips, pair + FD, etc.

But the ranges are so large that PPT is erroring out. I'm getting the error message: "java.lang.StackOverflowError".

Does anyone know of a better way to do this? I'm doing it for PLO. So we're usually looking at 10K+ hand combinations.
