Wanted to share my preflop trainer at www.livepokertheory.com/trainer



Its basically a flashcard trainer with a poker skin. I got charts for rake/norake straddle/nostraddle cash RFI / vsopen, and tournament RFI and vs open for 100bb, 50bb, and 30bb . Im adding more charts currently. The unique thing my app does is I take the charts, map them to flaschards (manually selecting only borderline hands to ask), and track your performance on each question so I can optimize which flashcard you see via "spaced-repetition" , a research-based studying technique typically used for rapidly learning a language or for doctors to study pharmacology / chemistry. Its currently a web app but designed to work on your phone. I am developing a true native app that I will release soon.

Currently its totally free! Im going to monetize VERY soon, probably paywall new charts as I add them, going to offer a 2p2 discount, but wanted to share what I had in case any feedback on this forum .

I have extensive experience with Piosolver and plan to add postflop features soon as well too.

Long term I'm really hoping to "gamify" studying more and make it more fun as well.

I've been a 2p2 member for 15+ years, started a new account just to have a clean one for this project. Been a poker player and software engineer forever so overdue to make a poker project.

I'm well aware this is a very-competitive space, but I'm building a project that I find useful as a live grinder, and hoping that if I keep doign that while iterating based on feedback I get, I can make something unique and useful to a a subset of the market.
