You can upgrade paying the difference, just contact support when you plan to upgrade, they will send you link.

For checks, how many new hands should I have added in my database? Should do it every 50k hands added?

50k should do great. I do even less most of the time I run analysis after 10k hands for stat checks.

10k can give you an idea of how much you've moved one way or another. 50k is the generally recommended minimum for overall advice.

Ya, yw... and you can run them in smaller increments, but just as a checkup. Don't over adjust within small samples. Make sure you just use the largest size possible for that.
