I need some help pls, I requested to access to the beta features but I cant use them... I cant activate seat position overlay.

what's even odder is most things like this would normally be open source, they aren't making money off it and clearly have no plans to ever charge as it's been around forever
it's definitely doing something to make it worthwhile for them, their stated excuse of "it's good for the poker ecosystem" isn't true at all in the slightest because no recs will be using this stuff, maybe taking excess cpu cycles to mine crypto, maybe it's datamining hand histories like those you can buy online, fact is until someone pops the hood and looks at the code and see what else it's doing in the background i'm not touching it with a 10 foot pole

I found this a very interesting point. Does Jurojin care to confute his arguments and explain where revenue comes from?

Jurojin is currently free and is making no revenue at all, we are trying to polish all features as much as we can before releasing a paid version of the app, because, as you may have already noticed we are a very compromised and serious team and try to fix everything asap and improve the app constantly, quality is our highest priority no matter what.
As a heads up, once the app goes paid, it will remain free (with limitations of course) and you will be able to pay for specific sets of features that you find useful for your playing sessions.
We will send an email soon related to all these changes, we are trying not to hurry all this process as we want users to have the smoothest experience possible with it.

you don't even acknowledge Jurojin on your linkedin, just "self employed freelancer"

You guys could plausibly be legit but when you say "we're still polishing things" and in the meantime having an entire team do regular updates and support for two years with no income - that just doesn't fly.
there's no records of you guys receiving vs funding, you all distance yourselves from the site and attempted to remain anonymous, this is sketchy beyond belief and i simply can't believe anyone here would use your software until you submit your source code to be audited
i agree that a lot of false positives exist in antivirus software but given all the circumstantial evidence, fact they all labeled your software as a trojan until you applied to be whitelisted is yet another bit of info that on its own could be benign but when viewed in the bigger picture just adds to another reason why i don't think anyone should use your software until you submit to an audit

Hey man!
About false positives I would be more than happy to have a formula on how to avoid them but unfortunately softwares like this run automatic checks all the time and sometimes they "forget" that a specific software was whitelisted by them, we rely on people reporting the false positives to avoid this but its something we really struggle with every day. It is as simple as having hotkeys in your program or moving windows arround to be detected as a trojan automatically as it uses the Windows API.
I don't really want to spend that much time replying to these types of posts, I understand that your "clues" lead you to those conclusions and don't want to treat anyone as paranoid, but the best I can offer you is to come back and test the app once our store is released so you feel more comfortable using the app knowing its generating revenue.
