To get betpot to work you will have to edit this parameter in the main .ahk file
miniview_tabstops := 4
I think it is 4, if 4 doesnt do it for you try 5 or 6. Or just count number of tabs while you hold down "shift" or was it "cntrl" ... sorry I don't remember exactly but that is dave's system to calibrate his betscript. Check the betpot manual for the proper way to do this.Also make sure you test his script on real money tables it doesnt work on playmoney. I wish I had read a post saying that in bold font. that would have saved me alot of time.

In the M3_DATA folder you will find all the images that the mod uses. You can edit or replace them and the mod will install them for you. Both the cards and the table images are there.

I noticed a problem last night that my window expanded (at the bottom) and I was unable to click the button to un-expand... it was really annoying because the HUD stats moved around. Not sure what would have caused this.

got another question:
the windows auto close w/o a confirmation popup , is it possible to turn that off`? I sometimes missclick and when i would leave the table because of that would really annoy me

Enabling "top up" in console after you sit in is an option yes. See previous discussion about autofold. Couple of posts earlier.

This is totally new to me. Were there any ahk scripts running? What OS do you run? What skin?
Yes I'm aware of that. I should have added that to the list of "known issues". I missclick too sometimes in the heat of the moment so it is certainly on the todo list.


And thanks for all the comments/feedback everybody! Also _please_ if it works fine on your setup Id appreciate if you drop a line saying so (OS+skin maybe), because I suspect that people are more motivated to post a bug/problem as opposed to reporting that it works without problems.

I'm running Windows XP and using Hansa Poker client.

No ahk scripts were running. I will keep my eyes open to see if I run into it again.

Works well with my client though, no major issues at all.

That is a bug in the original unmodded client. Happended to me too.

I don't know what to say here. Suprious plays on greenjoker I think. Are you referring to greenjoker too betafemale? I dont have that bug on other clients.

I'm using it on Vista and I had that proble with de c/f too twice.
Well It's the best mod ever por ipoker and it really makes me play with a better mood but I have a couple of questions.
Are you thinking on including some script for topup to just press a choosable button to get that done (mouse3 for example)? When will this be fully released, I'm looking foward to buy it and has my trial is expiring it really makes me mad :s

Can you make it so that if we click the down arrow in the bottom left and select show chat that it will remember the last option selected next time a window is opened?

MiniMaxMod Beta Trial v0.6

• Added 560x500 layout. 6 of those fit nicely on a 1680x1050 screen.
• 6max and HU supported.
• 2 layouts: 518x400 and 560x500
• Trial consists of number of runs (25) & non-permanent modding.
• Some minor fixes and enhancements to v0.5
• Scrollwheel bet and rightmouse check/fold AHKs.

I tested it on Expekt, Fair, Kiwi, Titan, Propaganda, Cardoza, NOIQ, Noble, Hansa, Green Joker, Chili, Carlos, Betfred CDpoker and VC poker. Chillin_dude reported it working on bigslick (thanks for letting me know btw!).

There are issues with some skins:
-Chili: uncheck "chat" in gfx options.
-Green Joker/VC: uncheck "menu buttons" in gfx tab.
-Betfred: didnt let me edit color of the names so uncheck "seat" and uncheck "white text".
-Couple of people reported problems with the check/fold (on greenjoker?), but I still haven't had that on my system.

The trial runs from the previous demo are still counted. If you ran out of trial-runs and want to try this v0.6 demo please pm me to extend trial period.

MiniMaxConsole needs to be running when you are playing. It resizes the tables, it expands/contracts them when you click the expand button and it top-ups for you. I am not going to be adding alot of AHK stuff -_dave_'s betpot works if you configure it properly- , however I do want my mod to ship with at least the very basic AHKs. That's why I added the scrollbet and the rightmouse-fold to this version. If scrollbet seems all jerky and wierd on your skin check the "simple" checkbox. The simple version requires to click one of the minx3/halfpot/pot buttons above the slider before it kicks in.(Greenjoker for instance only works with "simple")

If people are gonna test this beta on skins not mentioned above I suggest following procedure;
Start poker client and log in. (Since this is a trial the modding will be reset with every log off form the poekrclient) Always make sure the minitables open up properly before actually running the mod. Then hit "Update local layout", what this does is it copies the layout config file so you can go back if something goes wrong. You go back by checking "mod from local layout". As opposed to modding from the layout present in the pokerclient folders.
And then try to mod it and see if the table opens up without errors. If it doesn't and you loaded the local layout that did work go back ("mod from local") to that layout and uncheck some options. Rinse and repeat. If you want to have a fresh install you'll have to restart the pokerclient. There's no "reset to default" functionality at the moment.

I improved the modding procedure to prevent stuff like this. You can run the mod several times after each other. It no longer mods in an incremental way.

*You can play 10max with the 560x500 layout but I had to nudge the cards of the seats nr. 2,3,7 and 8. So they aren't positioned like the cards of the other seats relative to the actual seat.

Oh yeah, the amount-text on the bet, call, raise etc. action buttons is now white too. Well you have that option now.

One last thing. There is a "resize all" button in the console now. You probably will not need it, but just remember its there just in case. I found that when using the "show desktop" button of windows sometimes all the tables resize back to their original size. And you have to hit show button not long after actually opening up the table without moving the table or that resize won't happen. So its a strange bug, but just in case I added that button.

You may want to uninstall the previous demo by running the v0.5 installer again or through "add/remove programs" of windows.

If you are referring to the chat options like "show dealer text", "show card images" and all that then no. I cannot edit those.

I'm referring to expanding the window... when you open new ones they are always opened contracted. The chat options are remembered by the client.

Also is it supposed to auto top up? If that's the case then it doesn't work for me on Hansa. I was under the impression that I had to click on "Rebuy" and it just automatically topped up from there, but from the description of the new demo it appears that it should be auto topping up as soon as I'm below the max buyin.... can you clear that up for me?

Oh, I see. yes that option can be added.
No its not supposed to top up automatically. I always referred to that function as "quick top up". You double click the menu button and it rebuys full. I'm not even monitoring the stack sizes, that's a whole different ballgame. Sorry if I was unclear about that.

First of all, great work (again), and nice update. Can't wait to try it out.


Second of all, I have had this card layout as long as I have used iBolide v.2's option of modifying card layouts/sizes.
By modifying that particular value you can resize and move the cards, like in the above picture.
I hope I don't sound too arrogant by saying that because you are doing a great job here, but some things have already been done by iBolide.
It's good to have these things on your mod, though!


Oh, and one more thing: when are you going to charge money for this product? When you are done with the "beta-phase"? I want to pay for this.

Ibolide cannot move/resize the dealt (yellow) cards. It also cannot move one card separately. (He could implement both those things though.) I'm just saying
I need to edit those files myself in order to get what I need. iBolide is a nice program though. I have it for a long time now and in fact I still use it to preview the changes I made to the cards layout file. Beats opening up bunch of tables and waiting the cards to be dealt etc etc.
That being said, editing the card layout is by far the easiest part of modding the whole layout - its not even funny.

I'm glad you like the mod though. And you or people who would like to start using the mod without the trial (you won't have to run the mod on every startup ) can get a license for 26$. That's alot of modding for the buck.

This is a great software, I hope it will work out for me. This is just what I need, if iPoker doesn't bother to help.

I have a few problems.

1. I play full ring, 12 tables on 1920x1200. So 480x400 full ring, please.
2. The fold preselection button is missing.
3. The actual action buttons are shifted from the position of the preselection buttons. Just like in the original, but a little bit differently. See this post:

4. Some chips overlap in the full ring version (the two player's chips in the upper left corner).
5. I had to figure out that you have to run the minimaxconsole in order to resize the tables. You should mention this somewhere in a help or readme, just to be foolproof. I almost gave up.

Really great work, but I'd need the first two(three) solved before I can use it.
