I can convert the hands and import the files but the hands do not get imported. This is a recent problem for me as it was working fine for the last month or so. Any insight?

In HUSNGs, is it possible for the Card Converter software to give the same Player ID to the opponents with whom we do a rematch?

Same question would apply for the Card Catcher as well. It would be immensely useful for HUDs.

That's not where the files save. If you watch the tutorial video in app, it will explain the whole process. It's in your c:/bovada directory on where it saves.

It would be nice if it were supported on XP. HEM works wonderfully on it.
Yeah, you need .net 4.5+ so it won't run on XP.

There's not way to extend the trial unfortunately. I wish there was. It works as expected though.

Update to the latest version, and if you're getting duplicates then your folders have files that need to be cleared out. There's no known issues with the converter. Update to .40 and move or delete your import folder.

You're missing a step or doing something wrong. Just double check each step and make sure you're following the correct process.

Ack, oh well, thanks for quick response. It would be nice if you compiled a version compatible with 4.0.3 as I don't think I will ever use windows past XP, not a lot of reasons to (this program), and many reasons not to (security, speed, installation size, legacy programs from when people had to use windows).

I will have to make another VM of Win 7 just for this now, grrr.

Hmm software is up to date.

I deleted the import folder, made a new one, and then converted the HH files from my original bovada hand history folder. Could that be causing the issue?

Yeah, sorry. There were some 4.5 components that were needed I guess.

If you mean the second directory that's listed in the converter, it shouldn't. But what I was saying was move or delete any files that are listed in the green circled directory that you set in the converter. And then just double check your import process. If you look in this thread, I get a couple of these exact things a week, and it's always something where the person is importing from the wrong area, or had some old lingering files that just kept re-importing. The clue here is you have duplicate hands, so when that happens we know it's repeated data going in.

Hmm, I'm sorry to be a chore but things still don't seem to be working right.

I created a completely new "green circled directory", set the converter to convert there, purged my PT4 database, converted new Bovada hands, imported to PT4, and still somehow got mostly duplicates.

Of the hands that got imported, only 16 cash game hands are showing up, which is definitely off, but numerous tournament hands. Both cash game and tournament hands were converted.

I'll keep skimming the thread and see if anything clicks, thank you for the help.

Just received another error importing to HM (no conversion errors).

I do not see any link for HM1 error hands. I will ask in the support thread for HM as well.

The only way you can get duplicates is if the data already exists. It's really hard to say what you're doing wrong, but some step in your process isn't correct. I'd create a new PT4 DB just to test. Make sure no hands exist in your green circled directory and do a new conversion. Make sure you're importing from that green directory. My best guess is that you're importing into PT4 from the wrong directory.

Yeah, sorry, I thought you were on HM2. And this is an Omaha what hand? Can you send that batch of hands to our support.

Hey freak daddy! love the software and everying is good exporting into HEM2 but when I try to post hands on 2+2 and right click on specific hand I dont have the option "copy hand to clipboard" it just says "copy" or "copy with stats". When paste hand into 2+2 converter literately nothing happens, but when I copy with stats and error message comes up and says its not supported. Ive posted HH on 2+2 in the past but had to clear HEM2 and the cardconverter off my work computer for about 7 months. Not really sure what the issue is thanks if you have any insight!

You need to right click view hand I believe, and then in the hand viewer there's an option to export to 2+2 format. It's not directly from the hand grid in hm2.

So big question...any chance of a Mac version for those of us who don't have Parallels or otherwise have a Windows OS on our Macs?

Failing that, would it be possible to just E-mail myself the txt file that the hand histories are converted to so I can import them into PT4 on my Mac if I play on a PC laptop?

Would be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying Parallels and Windows since I already have the laptop (although I do hate Windows...)

We're going to do a mac version at some point here soon. I don't have an ETA though.

But yes, you can convert on a PC and then e-mail or copy them over to your mac. They are converted as .txt files which are universal between the two.

I play $5.25 HU Turbos on Bovada. When I import hands converted by BHC into PT4, PT4 only recognizes 3 hands played per tournament. This statistic is wrong. It does however appear to give an accurate statistic as to whether the tournament was won or lost.

I am using BHC version 1.0.40 on Windows 8.1

tried that as well nothing happens. no option to export into 2+2 format. Tried exporting into a folder as a text file and pasting that into the converter still nothing.

I created a new PT4 database and things seem to be working OK now, no duplicates and only a couple errors this round. Thanks for the help.

I'm looking at it right now and it's there. You have to go to the view hand option first, and then in the bottom right corner there's an option to export to different hand formats in HM2. You can contact their support if something isn't working there for you, but that option exists.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do with the export and then pasting into the converter though. I'm a little confused by that.
