I don't know what's up with my hands in bovada, except that they're wrong...my net winnings number is wrong though can't tell exactly by how much, but this number doesn't match my net winnings total on Bovada--the only site I play on. This despite running through the converter fine, not registering errors, I know how to import hands with hole cards, and am running 8079 release....some hands just not being interpreted correctly by HEM?? Others fine? I guess, b/c there's little anomalies like tournaments that I bubbled and didn't cash showing me as cashing the cost of the buy-in? Lots of instances of this (see screenshot)...lots of instances of successful conversions too...

You're saying those 3 that are showing as cashed you didn't cash? And you're sure about the format? If so, then just edit it. The converter is just taking the info that bovada is passing along. Maybe you can go back and look at the original HH for those and see what it says at the end. If there is some issue, just let me know or e-mail support. There shouldn't be though.

It's significantly more than those 3, there's assloads of them, and it seems to predominantly occur with hh's where I finished fourth in stt's w/ 3 places paid...such HH's will often (tho seemingly randomly) register cashes for hero in the amount of the buy-in (excluding fees). These are NL holdem games, proper format...I picked one of them and pulled up the .txt HH files for that tourney--both the pre-conversion one from Bovada and the post-conversion one run thru converter--neither had anything about me cashing for anything at the end...

I've upgraded HEM2 to latest version, reconverted whole database for non-hole cards just to see if a fresh new db to go along with latest HEM2 version would ameliorate the bugs I seem to be experiencing. Story's same for holecard-db on v. 8079 as it is for non-holecard-db on latest update.

There's a lot of these at various buy-in levels so editing them all isn't super quick & easy in hem2 (I'd rather figure out what's causing problem than have to edit all future instances of this).

And thanks for your help, sorry if I'm annoying, & it's entirely within realm of possibility that I'm just being a ****ing idiot...but wtf is going on here? Thanks

Ok, thanks. Well, you're saying that there's no winning place written in the original or the converted, so it obviously has to be on HM's side. But why it's doing it I'm not sure. Can you send me those hands where you had the original and the converted and I can look at them with the developer? It might be something with just that specific kind of STT, as I assume there has to be something different from the ones where it didn't place as a cash. It would be helpful to see them though. You can e-mail them to support or PM me. Thanks.

How come I can't get this thing to work? I bought it and when I go to download it and start it up, It wants me to register. It says I need a serial number and I don't know where to get this or why I need it. Any help?

This is the support thread for the Ace Poker Solutions converter right? Is this thing some kind of joke/scam? Or am I just ******ed? I'm new to this whole hand history thing and I just spent $16 on this thing and it doesn't seem to want to come close to working...

I'm probably just being daft but I can't figure this out.

Yes. Thank you.

When I import hands however i get alot of errors. It shows up as "error: invalid pot size" or something like that. Apparently they still import because I can see my stats, graph etc. But I can not see individual hand histories. It's wierd. I notice the poster above me had the errors as well. Whats causing this?

Can you e-mail support with some details of what you're seeing? I don't know if it's a setting without seeing the actual data. If you can e-mail one of the original unconverted bovada hands that's having the issue, I could look at it pretty quick and know what the problem is.

HUD isn't coming up and when I opened the HH file, there are no hand histories inside...so I guess its not capturing them?

Hello,

Two questions:

Is there an estimated release date for the tournament version of the Card Catcher HUD?

Am I correct to assume that the hand converter would not be necessary for someone who has the Card Catcher HUD?

Sorry if these have been answered already itt.

Thank you!

I'm having a problem with missing hands in the process from converter > HM1. I don't know if it's an issue with the converter or with HM but I will often have 100+ hands that don't transfer over from the converter. It seems to happen only the times I wait multiple days to DL the HH's from Bovada.

For example, today I downloaded hands from a session that I played 3 days ago. The converter grabbed 772 hands but HM only imported 650. Ideas?

Sorry, but can you post your question in the support thread for the bovada card catcher:

No, you just batch download them from bovada, and then use the convert folder option from the converter. The video tutorial goes over that step by step.

You're talking about the bovada card catcher. That's a completely different product, but I'm happy to assist you if you can post in that thread. I don't want to confuse support threads. TY.

Are you sure those hands are being downloaded and you didn't miss them? Because you could have extra files already sitting in the converter directory that have already been imported. I'd try going to each directory, clearing them out and starting from scratch. But just as an fyi, there's no known issues or bugs with it. If there's 700 hands, it should convert and import 700 hands. Just go into the converter directory, make sure it's empty and then do your next conversion/import.

I am wondering if there is something I can do to speed up Bovada Hand Converter. I have been using it for quite a while, but it now runs very slow. I am converting to PT4. It has been running for 7 hours and has converted about 7,000 hands (about half way through). I increased its priority, but it is not using a lot of CPU or memory. I have enough computer power:
Intel Core i7 @ 3.20GHz
12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 795MHz

Any suggestions would be welcome. I also will be converting into HM2 whenever this session ends.

FWIW - the PT4 conversion finally finished. The HM2 conversion proceeded rapidly as per usual.
