The converter is for windows based PC's, but lots of people on here have successfully run it in parallels and other windows simulators on mac.

You'll need to download from bovada each time. That's the only way they send hand histories.

So after I download hand histories on Bovada, will I still need to go to the converter and hit the converter button and then hit the download selected file button on PT3?

You'll have to download the hands, convert them, and them import them each time.

I'd suggest watching the tutorial video. It will go into detail on ever step. It's pretty easy once you do it once.

No, but you can run the converter on parallels or a similar windows emulator. I know several people on here have successfully.

I have ran into a problem and was wondering if I can get some help/advice on this situation. When converting all my hands for the month it will convert 10100 hands. When I go to import it on pokertracker it will only import about 9300 hands, this causes my stats to be off by a big margin and a little frustrating for me. Has anyone ever ran into a situation like this? Or knows how to go about fixing it so pokertracker imports all hands that were converted?

What kinds of hands are they? What version of poker tracker? What errors are you getting?

LHE hands, im running version 4.10.9, i dont believe i got any errors just a bunch of skipped hands for some reason, and seems like the skipped hands are coming from the past few days

Ok so i had to redownload all my hands from bovada individually and convert them a few files at a time and import them to pokertracker (again few files at a time), it caught the hands it skipped. Seems about correct for the month, but im sure it skipped a few hands earlier in the month.

Hmmf... well, not sure what would have happened first go, but that's good it's in. It shouldn't be skipping any for LHE. If you suspect any though, just send them to our ace poker solutions support and they will look at them for you. You can attach any files on this form.

It sounds like something is going on with pokertracker. We don't control the downloading or importing. We're just converting the hands. I can't say for sure what's happening, but if you're getting stuck maybe try and create some new directories and start from scratch.

It may even be on bovadas side, when clicking "download all" it might not download all the hands properly.

Always double check the HH folder then. I don't have any issues with this ever, but I have heard a couple of people have problems before. I can't really say why, but I usually just go there, request them. Wait a minute, log out, and log back in and they are always all there.

I noticed now after a windows update that my every time I "convert folder" it recognizes 10800 folders and no hands. If I play 100 hands it will recognize 10800ish folders and my new 100 hands, so it takes a while now to upload every time. The output directory is Docs/bovadahandhistory which is correct I believe.

Let me know

What version do you have? What is actually in your folder? Perhaps clear it out also, and archive it somewhere else too.

Been playing at Intertops a lot but am tired of the low traffic and thought I've give Bovada a try. I've read thru the posts but am not clear on something, once I import some history, how do I use your converted hand histories with HEM2? In other words, I'm used to seeing a HUD with info on the people on the table I'm playing on. How does your software help me during an active session?

Thanks!

It's not for active sessions. It's just for importing into your favorite database so you can track your results easier, review your play, run filters, graphs, leak buster, etc... no HUD.

Is there anyway to have Bovada redownload the hand histories?

I noticed after converting and importing a few tournaments it didn't show all the hands or give any winnings etc. So I looked at the original downloaded hand histories and it seems to just cut off at some point before the end of the tournament. When I go to the Bovada client I just get open hand history file even though they have been moved to another folder.
