Yep, we ran into some surprising results during the webinar.
I am preparing an article about PKO math, I've checked everything and it appears that there is a lot of counterintuitive math going on in PKOs and all of the results during the coaching were correct, the article will help with that, and probably I'll record another video about them too since PKOs are surprisingly hard to understand.
Have just been exploring the PKO features in ICMizer and was also getting some surprising results. For example, in cEV, I was checking the calling ranges of BB vs a BTN shove ~12bbs with different bounties. Even giving BTN a ridiculously large bounty (300BI at early-mid stage) we were getting some super tight ranges (when we should be able to call super profitably ATC).
Does cEV mode calculate what's in the PKO box as $ and then convert it to chips for use in the calculation? When I did this manually and changed all of the bounties into chip values in that box, then it was appearing with ranges that seemed more realistic?
Obv, you are saying that there is quite a lot of counter-intuitive maths going on but gambling for such huge bounties makes perfect sense to me?
