I see that ICMIZER can be used for analyzing shortstack cash game situations. I'm guessing this is most easily achieved by simply looking at the Chip/BB EV, right?

But is there any way of dealing with the effect of rake?

ICMIZER is a poker calculator designed to assist in making the right preflop decision in the very late stage of the tournament. So, we don't have any reliable methods or suggestions about how to use ICMIZER for cash games, how to count a rake, bingo, fees, etc.

how do i create tournaments for rebuy tourneys with addons : ( eg. entries: 124 , Re-Buys: 167 addons 76 starting stack 5000)
treat this simply as 124 + 167 + 76 entries since all the chips are in play ?

Yes, for the tournament with 124 registered players, 167 re-buys, and 76 addons (the addon is equal to the starting stack), the number of players in the creating tournament dialog window should be 124 + 167 + 76.

Using ICMIZER3 Basic. Is there any way to save hand histories that I am manually inputting into ICMIZER? After manually inputting 3 different hand/stacks situation...when I X out of ICMIZER and bring it up again, those hands on the left are ultimately gone.

At the moment, there is no way to save analyzed hand histories in the "Analysis" column. However, you can save any ICMIZEd result by using the "Share this result" button in the pushfold table:



Click on the "Share this result" button, and you will get the link that you can copy and save. You can save these links somewhere in any text file or as bookmarks in your browser.

Also, you can open that link in the ICMIZER desktop application. Just copy the link, open the ICMIZER desktop application, and click on the Paste hand history button.

Can someone explain to me what icmizer does that makes pokersites not allow you to use this while you are on there site? I thought you could only load hand histories and not do real time ICM calculations as it would take too long to input the info? Also if you could input the info couldnt you use any icm calculator? theres a ton of free ones.

I understand all that but it doesnt analyze hands in real time so what advantage would it give someone?

ICMIZER is the preflop solver kind of poker software. The advantage it gives to the user is the ability to solve a complex mathematical problem and find the optimal preflop strategy according to Nash equilibrium.

You cannot arrive at that strategy with some intense thought process, the problem at hand is just too complex. ICMIZER arrives at the correct solution pretty much instantly. The goal of ICMIZER is to help players learn how to play poker better. Applying these algorithms in real-time would be cheating and would grant an unfair advantage against other players, and we have nothing to do with that. We are interested in fair games and provide a studying tool that can be used between poker sessions.

If you want to find more about your particular rooms policy and why they few ICMIZER as a tool that shouldn't be used while playing I can recommend contacting your poker room support with that exact question.

The advantage is pretty simple, you study in ICMIZER, start making fewer mistakes and your tournament ROI goes up!

What im getting at is ICMIZER doesnt allow you to screen scrape your poker room and input real time hands so how is it an advantage? It only works on hands you have already played...

I'am having some issues when trying to analyze hands. The image attached is a sunday storm hand. At firt i would get the "uncimizable situation, temporary range" message, after uploading the hand again i get this all 0.00 EV range. Any ideas?

The percentage in ICM %EV mode, that you set up, is the percentage from the whole prize pool. So, when there is a middle stage or early ITM stage in a big tournament, we recommend choosing the $EV mode and entering the prize pool. So, you can see at +EV plays and compare them to your buy-in and your ROI.

hi, i am on sng coach for satellite for 3 paid and stone bubble.
could we get a calling range instead of a rejamming range when facing a jam?
because i think that is more realistic that we just call our range on the stone bubble to try to knock the guy out together instead of jamming pushing other players out of the pot.

Sometimes when i use the icmizer, there is a bug where i cannot type in average stack and when ever i want to type, it will only show 0000000
