How to construct balanced ranges, how not to over- or under-bluff in frequent lines How to construct balanced ranges, how not to over- or under-bluff in frequent lines

Does anyone know any software (or reports) that allows to compare GTO bluffing frequencies for different hand categories on multiple flop textures, turn and river runout types?

Or can anyone recommend any people who can teach how to construct balanced ranges, how not to over- or under-bluff in frequent lines, especially in HU sessions, especially on turn and river?
And if yes, what is the process that those people use to achieve that?

How many hands do you play per month? To answer your question just search "Poker GTO programs". To answer the more important question; whether or not you should be balanced, the answer to my first question is important.

Maybe I play a few dozens thousands of hands per month playing a mix of HU and 6max at NL50 and NL100, sometimes even less. -I do not play that much because poker is not my job, poker is more like a hobby that makes me some side money so far.

I would play more though, if I could make more money out of poker than from my daily job, and that is one of my goals in the long run.
So should we say that the better question would be if it is relevant to learn how to be balanced or semi-balanced in order to win consistently at NL400+ HU, should not we?

I am starting to play NL100 HU sessions much more often recently, because I started to win HU more than in 6 max this year.
And quite often I can tell that a villain is a fish and a bad player, but I do not have much HU stats on that player, and I do not have population stats for HU either, so I do not know how to play vs him or her yet. But I want to play anyway, because my villain is fish.

So I end up checking back turn with total junk and barreling most of my gut shots and better draws as a standard default play. And quite often a villain appears to be quite a sticky fish, calling me on flop and turn with A high (especially on wet boards) and I end up spewing a lot of money by semi-bluffing even in spots that are usually good for bluffing with nothing in 6max. Often I fell that they call me down at the beginning of HU session with anything. Sometimes I end up owned by such a sticky fish, with 50%-70% of my losses due to semi-bluffing, or at least that is what I feel when I play vs a sticky fish HU.

So I feel that it would be nice to have at least some idea about balance so that I could play mostly in a balanced fashion at the beginning of the HU session, and gradually deviate from the balance more and more, the more I learn about my villain.
At 6max I did not see problems like this at my NL50-NL100 levels, and I know 6max population stats, so I just end up over-bluffing when I know for sure that population is over-folding.

But my end goal is to learn enough to progress into NL400+ both HU and 6max, and I feel that I will have to know quite more about balance at higher stakes, especially HU.

Now, please feel free to correct my logic and tell me how you would approach such situations, and if you win at NL400+ HU.

Are there any people out there at all, who try to be balanced, who learn how not to over-bluff, except Doug Polk?

Which poker GTO programs are you referring to, do you mean something like GTO solvers? Did you use them to balance your ranges yourself?

I guess that the silence means that there is no tool or easy way to balance ranges across multiple flops and runouts, and that most humans (except some top HU players maybe) just do not do it at all.

But if anyone is interested to have an easy way to balance their range, or write a book how to do it, or pick up on any GTO strategy tricks, like bet sizing, please let me know.
-I have a tool that can compare and simplify GTO or locked solver strategies across multiple flops, runout categories, hand categories, or specific hands and runouts.

Questions like these are incredibly difficult to answer using any of the current solvers and tools:
1. How to not over- or under-bluff in all frequently played lines on all major flop textures, turn and river runout types?
a. On what flop textures we should not barrel turn with all our gut shots, open ended straight draws and flush draws to avoid over-bluffing compared to GTO?
b. What percentage of air shall we bluff on each flop texture category on blank and A rivers to avoid over-bluffing?
2. On what flop textures and on what kinds of turn and river runouts we should usually overbet turn or river, and which ones we should not?
3. On what flop textures we should check back turn with most OESD, but barrel most gut shots and air?
4. What flop textures are good and bad for bluff barreling pure air on turn?
5. What types of turn and river runouts are good and bad for bluff barreling pure air on dry boards? On wet middling and wet low boards?
6. How do flop check-raise frequencies change by pre-flop formations for gut shots, OESD and flush draws?

Now you can answer all those and any other question you have about GTO or locked solver strategies easily:

Note: I intentionally included the least interesting data on that screenshot, because I have to find a way how to make money from that data yet.
