True. Here's how it works now.

If you check, then it'll analyze a proper bet size (w/ some variability).

If you bet or raise, then it will analyze that specific bet size and compare it to checking or calling.

Shouldn't it compare the bet/raise size with the optimal one?

We have considered giving the user the option to have it analyze (a) the bet/raise size you did, (b) the optimal bet/raise size (if materially different), and (c) checking/calling.

We have also considered providing an option to simulate different bet sizes and see the EV of each one....

However, we do not get this request often, so we do not wish to make the software overly complex.

What do you think?

One of the main advandages of the program is that is very user friendly.
Instead of other "training - reviewing" programs, like CardrunnersEV it doesn't need a lot of input from the users. If, someone likes to customize simulations, this would make the program more complex snd could deviate it from it's main purpose, as "leak finder". In any case. a program cannot do everything, even it is " the Holy Grail". The total procedure of player's improvemnet, cannot be based only in a software program.
On the other hand, it is generally accepted that wrong size bets/raises, is a common leak. In my opinion this has to be indetified through your program.

Close your ears and keep trying...

AHHH I know!!

I'd love to, but unfortunately at this time it's pretty low on the list (simply because we need to do tournaments and heads up first -- both have a lot of demand and are easier for us to implement than PLO -- but we'll get to it eventually!

I can't get a return on how large the file is, so it just never stops downloading and it downloads at a very low speed. I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

I just made a few changes to the download link in order to send the file size in the html header.

But note that even before these changes, I could download the program with Mozilla Firefox.

JPFisher55, please try again and let me know

If anyone else is expereiencing the same issue please let me know.

It is very slow, but now I get a total file size. Download speed is like old dial up and I have 3.0 million DSL download speed.

After lengthy download, when I installed the trial version, it told me that my trial time had expired. But I have never tried the program. Oh well, not exactly impressed or surprised.

I'm sorry about this problem. I'd love for you to be able to try the software; I think you'll love it -- but I'm not sure what to suggest as we haven't seen this problem before...

I just downloaded it and had no problem -- but of course that doesn't help you...

Do you happen to have a 2nd computer on which you could try?

Hello,
I tried it and loved it. But the thing is I'm french.
I could help you for translation and being a beta user so you can make it usable for french people. Atm it doesn't recognize the EUR in our hands so it's buggy and I have to change EUR to USD and € to $ manually.
pm if you're interested, great software anyway.

I'm french too , but I live in Canada, so I'm still playing on .com sites and not on .fr.

We would love to make it usable for all french people.
I'm going to pm you.

Problem solved!

It was due to some russian characters that MasterTrupov has in the path where HGP stores settings, database, and logs (regular path is C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\HolyGrail)

The fix to handle such special characters will be in the next release.

In the meantime, if anyone else is facing the same problem, a workaround is possible, contact us at support@holygrailofpoker.com
