For the love of god I have tried everything in getting my HEM1 to work. I tried HM2 and I don't like it, lags my computer, hand history feature does not run properly for PLO.

So I uninstalled HM2 and now my HEM won't work. I am stuck at the online activation screen and cannot bypass. It says I don't have a license or it can't find one. I disabled my IE proxy, completely uninstalled HEM using revo, reinstalled the newest version of HEM, added HEM expections to windows firewall.

None of this worked and I am still stuck at the activation screen. Please help

I can't grind until it is up and running. By the way when installing updates for HM2 I also had the problem where it crashed and I couldn't get it to open again, was very frustrating. Software definitely not ready to be released, lot of works needs to be put into it.

Also is there a way to open the had history replayer from a poker table?

Also ever since the last patch (coincidence?) I have had HM2 crash and freeze my poker tables (twice). Once on party and once on PS. Poker site unfroze when HM2 was force closed. Computer is fast. Very frustrating.

I seen this reply in the HM forum to the same bug, but i don't understand how to do it. How can close HM.exe when i am downloading the update?

Go to hud options > displayed stats > disable [ ] show caddy notes

you need to also kill holdemmanager.exe in the task manager
Control + shift + esc locate "holdemmanager.exe" right click -> end process.

Make that 3 times, definitely not a coincidence as previously has never done this.

Sorry, to elaborate it is when changing tabs within HM while playing.

Has anyone had the problem of not being able to validate their license? I have gone thru their forums and did the suggested things to try and fix this, but none have worked.

Very frustrating as I can't get either HEM or HM2 to work lol. Sad life.

open hm2
ignore any request to update
go to hud options
uncheck "show notecaddy notes"
restart hm2
update when prompted

in some configurations it was taking notecaddy too long to shutdown before the updater tried to overwrite it. The next build is going to have NC brutally closed right away to prevent these things but you'll never get it if you don't do the above

I would hit ignore. I'm not an official hm rep though so maybe someone official steps in and gives you better advice but afaik tablescanner isn't even integrated yet so what could possibly go wrong?

I am finished with hm2. Such a mediocre upgrade if you can even call it that.
It's not even just teething problems it's basic flaws such as you can't sort by date like HM1. This is just an example of how attention hasn't been paid to the basic function of the program.

At the moment it is inferior to HM1 and I don't see how it can get much better (especially when many of these issues should have been resolve prior to release (I didn't try the beta because I didn't want to deal with all of this). Sure there are some good features like live tracking, easy access hud settings etc. Other than that why am I using it? It's slower than HM1 (frequent lags between changing reports) despite being toted as faster (comp is 4gb ram + 3.1 ghz quad core with everything up to date). And now it's now crashing frequently.

It's so frustrating playing a session and having to think more about HM2 than poker. I think you have tried to reinvent the wheel with this one. Now we're stuck with an octagon with you guys telling us that everything will be find once you round the edges off

See you in 3 months (hopefully it's use-able because our licenses are being cancelled ). Feel sorry for anyone unfortunate to have paid for this.

+1....I just received an email from their support team regarding my "license not found" problem during activation of HEM1 since I hated HM2. They sent me a generic FAQ email with exactly what I told them I read and tried in the forums.

Can't handle this, All I wanna do is play poker not worry about this stupid program. I just want my HEM1 to work again and go back to how it was before I decided to d/l HM2.

This is my main issue tbh, I cant even get to all the exciting stuff they implemented in HM2 because the basic stuff doesnt work as expected.

I tried running both HM1 and HM2 at same time to compare them easier. And at the same time that HM2 had trouble to even resize itself, HM1 was running circles around it. This is not a cpu usage problem, but just poor programing. Otherwise HM1 would be struggling as well but instead its still zippy even if HM2 is lagged to hell next to it.

I saw someone else mention the missing hand history viewer in the hud when you click on player name in the summary view. What happened to it, cant get it to show up. This is one of the main tools I use during play in HM1 to review the hands and make notes etc. And it needs to be fast like in HM1, I cant afford to wait 5 seconds for it to load up while 16 other tables are waiting for action.

HM1? As long as you can see the last 3 hands to click on you should be able to open the HH review window.

hud options > player preferences > appearance

turn on [x] Show Table Avgs and change Number of Pots to 3

You can also mark hands via the right-click menu on the Hands tab or any of the Hands sub-windows.

I found this from the HEM faq and was wondering is this the only way for marking hands.

1.Open a Hand History window on the table you're playing at.
2.Look at the right picture below and note the Yellow Box. Check this box.
3.This hand is now marked so when you go back to any Hand View of Holdem Manager you can click the Only Show Marked Hands checkbox and all your marked hands will appear as long as they are filtered for correctly.

The first problem I had was that I didn't find a button for the Hand History window. Ok, you gotta let your hud show last 2-3 hands and when clicked on that it opens the HH window right? It takes some time esp. when I have like 20 tables open. Maybe there is a easier way I didnt figure out?

Second problem is what if I bust with the Hand I wanted to mark for review what is the solution then? Because my table closes insta after I bust to avoid screen clutter I don't have time to open the HH window.

Cheers for helping.
You can mark hands via the right-click menu on the Hands tab or any of the Hands sub-windows if you dont have time to click the hand on the HUD.

Simply download the full installer and install HM2 (not postgresql) over your current installation.

http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe

This should be fixed once you get .5602 installed.

Sorry for the delay in reply. Our email volume swelled significantly after the release of HM2 so we are behind our average response time currently. We are working very hard to get caught back up as soon as possible.

If either of you would like to PM me your email addresses I will search them in our system and try to expedite your replies.

General HM1 registration troubleshooting tips:

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

1) Open your Internet Explorer and go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections and click on "LAN-Settings" at the bottom.
2) Uncheck every box in the small new menu and click ok.
3) Try to register HM again.

If that doesn't work try to enable the [x] Auto-Detect option and try again.

If neither of those options worked, try the following steps for FireFox:

1) Open your Firefox > Options >Advanced > Network > Connection: Settings
2) Try [x] No Proxy.
3) Try to register HM again.
4) If that still fails try using [x] Auto-detect proxy
5) Try to register HM again.

If you continue to have problems, try the following -

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager and update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete the LicDebug file and restart Hold'em Manager.

If you continue to have registration issues, please send your Reg.log file from the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs folder. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'reg'.

Weeeeeeeeeeee....fixed the issue. Looks like the issue was with firefox. I would suggest that you guys add the firefox fix to your FAQs on your website rather than just showing IE.

I'm playing around with the hud options, and can't find some basic stats to add to my hud.

What I've noticed missing so far:-
-Steal (total)
-Fold to 3Bet
-Call 3Bet

Also, if I were to remove vpip.total and pfr.total from the hud then I won't be able to re-add those stats because they're also missing.

There are probably other stats too, but these are the ones I've noticed so far.

Steal(total) is in RFI/Steal -> overall steal success?
Fold to 3bet is under vs. 3bet -> PF Fold to 3bet
Call 3bet is in the same section PF Call 3bet

VPIP.total and pfr.total have been renamed but we are just investigating this.
