I got a question concerning sngs on microgaming. Pokertracker imports the hands, but hud doesn't work nor is the amount of sngs played correct and the winnings show 0 for every game. Are these problems present at Holdem Manager as well? Thx.
Archiving of the gamehistory file has been implemented in HM2 although I do not know when/if this feature will be added to HM1.

The HUD will work on SNGs at Microgaming but it is necessary to use the table finder.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+

Holdem Manager sometimes cannot determine buy-ins and/or winnings for tournaments if they are not written to the hand history/summary so with Microgaming you will need to edit the results of your tournaments accordingly. Please see this FAQ.

If you have been saving your summaries (Stars I assume) but have only recently added the summary folder to your settings then you may have alot of files in this folder which will cause the import issues you describe. Try manually moving these files to your archive and you should be able to add the folder to your auto import settings again.

Is your CPU usage for HM in task manager higher than normal? Some people have experienced some CPU issues with this update. We have identified the cause of this but until we release an update try renaming your bodoghands.dll in your Program Files\Holdem Manager folder to bodoghands.dll_ and see if this solves your problem.

Is your PC going into sleep/hibernation when you leave it? Also try running the import with bitdefender temporarily uninstalled and disconnect from the internet when you leave your PC importing the hands and see if this then completes successfully.

I sometimes get a big spike CPU usage if I check task manager when I start HEM and start import but when I lag and freeze up after 15 min + it seems constant CPU usage ...
When will the fix update be available for this freeze cause ??

The update is in the queue but i cant give you an ETA for this. As a workaround you can rename bodoghands.dll to something like bodoghands.dll_ (you find the file under c:\program files(x86)\rvg software\holdemmanager.

Can I somehow get my HH's to show "UTG+1" and so on, on every position instead of player names?

Im getting these error messages when Im trying to open HEM. I guess its because I ran out of space on my C drive and then it stopped working. Now Ive cleared up almost 4gbs of space and it still wont open up.

No, this is not possible.

Your config file is corrupted.

1. Note your database connection settings from the database management
2. Close holdemmanager
3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
6. Restart Holdemmanager
7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
8. Reconfigure your database connection
9. After successful start reconfigure your Auto-import settings

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...o+Uninstaller+

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...g+Preferences+

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

Hi, just a quick question. Just finished a plo session and checked my HEM sessions tab to see how I did. Under $USD it said $1.52, $USD EV says -$5.31. When I select that session to review the hands in the bottom half of the screen view the "$" tab at the bottom of the screen, which I thought adds up your wins and losses from every hand, says -$3.68.

Why do my sessions results vary depending on where I look? Which one is correct?

Something similar happens when I switch better the "sessions" tab and the "reports" tab. I got "Omaha Hi" selected in the top menu. When I look at the "sessions" tab the $USD column says -$24.82 but when I look at my winnings in the "reports" tab it says -$50.37 but both show the same number of hands.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This is gonna sound dumb, but I just bought HEM and I can't get my HUD to show up on RPM poker. I've got my hands imported and I'm sitting here ready to play. Isn't the HUD supposed to launch automatically? When I "relaunch HUD" still no stats.

So i just bought a new laptop and need to move my database to my new comp. I only want to move my merge hands and results over. I have a separate database ive created and keep all merge stuff in. What do i need to move to the new computer?

SHould i make a copy of the hh folder that has all my merge hands and then move that and then do a import? Or is there some way i can save the database and everything in it and then somehow transfer that to the new comp. Thx for the help.

Is there going to be any issue with licesnsing the software on a 2nd comp?

You need to start the auto-import

Your license is valid for 2 of your computers.
If you want to have all hands in your new database the best is a backup / restore but if you only want some of them the best is to copy the archive folder (default c:\hmarchive) and import only the hands you need in the new database via import file / folder.

I spent time to watch yesterday for my HEM hand import problems: every time HEM imports about 25K to 35K, it stopped. The import is from folder, i did for three times, and the all stopped after import 25K to 35K games. Please help if there are any tips or known issues, thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at those FAQs and follow the "fix previously imported hands" feature, but none of the hands were fixed. Nothings changed. I am playing euro's and USD. Is there nothing I can do about the sessions tabs showing different results? Surely I should be able to fix it so that the total "sessions" winnings match the "reports" winnings?

Here's my original question:

Hey

I have left party and as such want to get rid of all hands to make HEM run quicker.

Have followed this ^ and I am on point two of erase db:

In the Object browser box, double click on PostgreSQL Database Server 8.x. You will be prompted you for your password. This is your password that you used when setting up PostgreSQL. Upon successful authentication, you will have access to your databases as shown in the following screen:
I'm 99% sure I have never used a password when downloaded HEM because have never gone into this postgrs program. Please can you tell me if there is a default password that is used?
