My HUD stopped working today right after I updated to the new version 1.11.06b. Not coincidentally, Norton 360 keeps alerting me that SONAR detected a problem. The weird thing is that I specifically have the HMHud.exe file (along w/ all the main HEM exe files) in the exceptions list.

I copied the Norton error message details to the clipboard, and here's what it says. Help!

Hi Foz, hope you are well!

I recently requested my entire tournament history from FTP. It's mainly SNGs and these are all I'm interested in really.

They sent me an excel file which has the tournament summaries in...

They also sent me a text file which contains every single hand history from every tournament I've played.

How do I correctly import the tournaments? HEM only recognises the text file as a file type that can be imported and when I tried to export only the SNGs after importing every hand history in the text file HEM failed to correctly calculate EV ROI stats (I think due to losing some hand histories or something).

Any of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work with holdem manager. Some customers can manage to get them working if they add exceptions for all the HM executables, and for all auto import folders. Most people can not get HM to work with those bundles, including N360.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel.
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Other good free options are AVG Free Antivirus or Avira Free Antivirus, but not their security suite bundles. If you want to pay for security I can recommend Kaspersky or ESET.

I have never seen them send such a file. Please zip and email the hand histories and that summary file, with a link to this thread, to fozzy@holdemmanager.net.

Email support@fulltiltpoker.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to multiple partial RAR files of your hand histories. Download all the files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of the lowest numbered partial file extension (.R000 or .R001) or the .RAR file itself. It will extract all of the small .R00x files to a single large text file containing hands and summaries both. HM > Import From File.

The cards missing are the cards that I was dealt during that hand. Even if I erase them from those boxes, they still haunt there.

Yes, 9 and 4 were hero's cards. I tried to remove them, but sometimes (usually) the Recalculate-button is gray.

That HandRange-tool is so great I would like very much to apply it. Maybe if I could access it from somewhere else than the Hand Replayer it would disregard what my holding was and would include every 52 card in the deck to the top 80%.

I downloaded this for the free trial and installed it fine. When I go to open the HEM it gives me this error message.

NET Framework Initialization Error
"To run this application, you must first install one of the following versions of the Net Framework: v2.050727
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the Net Framework."

Do I have to download something else for this to work? I don't know what to do.

Hi I'm having a few problems with my HEM (small stakes hold em version),

Basically, I have no HUD on Stars, it starts to import and the table manager opens, eventually a couple of tables might get HUD's (yesterday 2 of 8, today 7 of 8) but having opened, they didn't update. Relaunching HUD does nothing either.

It's also not recording all my games, yesterday for instance it's saying 18 sng's played (possibly correct I lost count), 14 finished, 4 unfinished, today 26 played, 22 completed and again 4 unfinished. It's much much slower than it used to be, it's taken a good 30 minutes to get to displaying 26 played.

I have the latest version of HEM afaik (1.11.06b) and haven't altered anything within HEM (well, not prior to it going wrong at least). I have tried to vacuum the database having never done this before (didn't know I needed to, oops) but I'm even having trouble with that: I have tuned Postgres and have tried to optimize using the full setting and it will optimize for say 10 minutes and then give me an error message pop up of "error 57014. cancelling due to user request" without my doing anything. It seems to have completed the process using the 'standard' setting however

Possibly worth mentioning is that every time I press start auto import it always says "importing large file please wait" and then "1 of 6 parts of large file have been processed..." and takes a long time to get going- it's been doing this as long as I can remember, I think since I downloaded a load of hands from Full Tilt when they introduced the Hand History (beta) feature through the "My Promotions" page ages ago- but it's been a lot slower lately. I can't stop the import either without closing HEM entirely.

Any advice would be great, apologies for my complete lack of knowledge on these matters!

I had to go into Norton's quarantine list, and add the specific problem it had w/ hmhud.exe and approve it as a safe program. It's different doing it this way than simply adding the file to the firewall exceptions list. That seems to have taken care of the problem for me. Happily I didn't have to uninstall and do the steps you suggested. Hope it holds up.

Actually, as far as I know they don't send rar files. I have the hands downloaded from their hand history tool (which you have to use via the FTP software) and I too have only gotten the excel spreadsheet w/ tournament results/summaries. It's easy on the eyes in this format, but apparently not recognizable by HEM.

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Make sure your poker client and hand histories are both in English.

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client and add the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...er+Stars+Setup

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

This sounds like you may have a corrupt database.

Export your Hand Histories
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

Export Your Notes
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

We do not support their hand history beta tool because they do not write the hands in the original format as the poker client.

Move the files in the handhistory folder to your \hmarchive folder and import them via import file or import from folder.

Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.

What sites do you play? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest release - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

Thank you for the details. I will try and remember to give that a try the next time I encounter N360 or NIS. I have also seen people add the various auto import folders to the list of exceptions in norton to try and get around the conflicts.

I was also just made aware of this conflict with norton sonar - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_...090903182949EN

We do not support their hand history tool they added to the poker client. If you want old hands from full tilt support to import to HM, and get accurate results, you must email their support personally and ask them to send them attached to an email.

Do you know if they will send tournament summaries as well? I believe I have all of the hands at this point, but not having the actual summaries is what makes it impossible to get accurate results in HEM ... unless you change each one, and that's obviously not feasible.

I am switching from PokerTracker 3 to HEM, but I can't get HEM to import hands from RPM poker (other sites are fine). First I tried the import PT3 database feature and that didn't work. Then I manually exported my RPM hh from PT3 and manually imported the .txt files in HEM. It says import successful, 0 of 0 imported.

Is there something special I have to do for RPM poker? I'm using the newest beta HEM.
