Quick question:

I'm using the latest version of HEM and I can no longer datamine on Gnuf (prima), the HUD works when I sit down at a table though. Is this a deliberate feature (like with Stars & Party) or is HEM not working properly?

Edit: Also, where has the EVbb/100 stat gone in the reports section?

(I play HU) I am trying to filter hands where I have called from the BB a raise from my opponent. I get to filter the hands no pb but if I try to filter by his raise size too (min raise or 3x) I can't do it...

Any help would be apreciated.

They are stored within the postgresql database and can be exported from your old DB to be imported to the new DB. Options > Notes > Export/Import

filter > edit > more filters

Try using the:

BBs Called Preflop is Bigger Than or Less than filters. There are a couple other similar filters in the same area of the More Filters list.

I have without success. Are those express in BBs?

Yes. I set it Bigger than 2 AND Less than 4 and all of the hands I watched were hands where I was in the BB and someone raised +3 big blinds on top of the call.

sorry to bother u again Fozzy but how do u change the color of the graph lines? I couldn't import my HUD configuration where would that be?

Was playing 6 tables of RUSH earlier. At one point I changed limits on 2 of the tables and lost HUD stats on 2 of the tables that remained the same?!?

Thank you fozzy for answering my dumb questions, but now I have a few more. =)

So I played my first couple SnGs on Stars and the HUD's were under the wrong people. I would try to move them on the right people, but then the ones at the other table would be wrong. Not sure if this is because I recently choose a preferred seat on Stars, but it worked fine on FTP.

Also because of this, I ended up reseting my HEM during the game and now my tournament results are wrong. Show for the tournament I only played for a few minutes and it also doesn't show me placing second. But all the hands were imported fine. How can I correct this? And if I were to prevent this should I just be "relaunching hud" or "stopping import and starting imports" instead of just turning the entire HEM off?

Close HEM and your anti-virus and delete any \xenocode\appliance cache folders and any other possible false positive files.

1. Enable "Show hidden files and folders" under Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View
2. Go to C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Xenocode\Appl iance Cache and delete every folder you can find in there

If you are on XP, that location is C:\Documents and Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Local\Application Data\xenocode\appliance cache

Empty your recycle bin.

reboot

* Go into the KAV settings window.
* Navigate to the Service node.
* Here, turn on the Compatibility mode for programs using self-protection option.

If that does not work then find the "Heuristic Scanning" option in Kaspersky and disable that.


You closed 2 tables and opened 2 new ones? The new tables showed the HUD but 2 of the old tables lost their HUD?

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt.
4) configure your poker client preferred seating and seating preferences in HM accordingly
5) Setup HUD pre-fetch: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=29 (if on stars or ftp)
6) open one cash Table and adjust the HUD while observing. Move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions.
7) Then sit and play at least one hand so you can make sure the hero hud is positioned properly.
8) Table manager -> File -> Save positions
9) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

What do you mean? 'reset my HEM'? What exactly did you do? Create a new database?


It sounds like you should probably start 1 new DB and get all your archived hands and hands/results from the other DB's.


*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB


You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Summaries.


Then later, you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:


Pokerstars > Lobby > Requests > Tournament History .. > 200

Then you have to create a text file, from the email, to import to HM.

You closed HEM with the X button? Did you stop the auto import first? Yes, relaunch HUD is probably what you wanted to try.

I just got the same thing. HEM is running but every time I try to launch the HUD I get another error message. When I'm done with my session I'll try and follow Fozzy's instructions. Anyone had any success getting rid of the virus warnings?

One of them graphs the results in dollars won. The other graphs the number of big blinds or big bets won. So if you play nl10 (5c/10c No Limit, with $10 buyin) each big blind is 10 cents. A big bet is 2 big blinds, in limit poker.

This is a false positive bug that we had last November with our obfuscation software. For some reason it has shown up again for some of the people that didnt have it happen before. The people that it happened to last November cleared their \applicance cache already, so it shouldnt happen to them again now.

i just bought a macbook pro, and i tried installing HEM but it wouldnt work. I emailed holdem manager support and the msg they gave was this:

One graphs in actual dollars and the other graphs in terms of average buyin amount. If you play all $5.50 SNGs then each BuyIn on the graph represents $5.50. If you play half 5.50's and the other half 11's, it would be an average of the 2, somewhere in the middle, near 7.75. Average buyin is listed in the left sidebar menu.

Cant seem to find anything with Google. Is there a way to filter by Opp Holecards? Like to create some filters where the opponent is playing a drawing hand.

I cant get the table scanner working,trying to scan on party and i get a message saying party client must be in english and table themes arent supported, then it seems to scan for a couple of seconds but no results come up, help anyone?

When I updated using the latest beta, there were probably 20 or so errors saying unable to update x file....

It doesnt appear to have fixed the multi currency problem, so im guessing the update was unseuccesful
