Currently, even with this set to 1 it often leaves some files behind in the Party HH folder (until the next time you run the auto-import) and it's a nuisance when you want to zip up your archive and find these are missed (BTW: I don't use the auto-import while playing - just at the end of each session as a way of importing and moving the hands like I used to in PT2).

I don't think you can set it to 0, but I have never tried or asked Roy. That uses minutes by default.

At the end of your session do you close Party (and FreePHG), and wait at least 2 minutes, before you use the auto-import? I would also recommend you then Stop the Auto Import and close HM before you go to zip up your archive. Hopefully that will insure that the Party client doesn't have a hold on them when importing/archiving.

The other option would be to use a Import From Folder after each session and then zip up the hands directly from the \party\HH folder and move it to your archive manually.

I'm usually in a rush to get it started, but the import nearly always takes longer than 2 minutes.

It won't let you set it to zero (I've tried), but it would just be handy if you could.

HM never deletes hand histories, it just moves them to an archive folder. Disabling archiving would stop HM moving them

Correct. We have to develop a completely new method for pre-fetching.

Ive been using HEM for around a month now to track all my sessions in cash games.

It seems to have been working perfectly until 5 minutes ago, when after finishing a small session i hit refresh but its missing the largest hand of the session where i doubled through. Its got all other hands except this one for some reason its not there...

is this a common problem that the odd hand here and there go missing???

thanks for any help

No, this is not currently an available feature.

You can suggest it, or vote for it, here - http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/p...er-suggestions

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB

What site and what version of HM? Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...inderToShowHUD

If that doesn't help, start a new thread on our forums and please answer these questions - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...oesn'tWork

Please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen...screenshot.htm

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder.

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

Are you sure all filters are cleared? Is HM and your poker site running as administrator? What site and what version of HM?

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If you still don't see the hand, try importing just todays hands from your archive to a new DB to test. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

What version of HM? Have you not used it recently?

We had a rash of false-positive reports last November due to our old obfuscation software.

Close HEM and your anti-virus and delete any \xenocode\appliance cache folders and any other possible false positive files.

1. Enable "Show hidden files and folders" under Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View
2. Go to C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Xenocode\Appl iance Cache and delete every folder you can find in there

If you are on XP, that location is C:\Documents and Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Local\Application Data\xenocode\appliance cache

Empty your recycle bin.

reboot

Please update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you have Kaspersky try this:

http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...2&postcount=10

or this:

* Go into the KAV settings window.
* Navigate to the Service node.
* Here, turn on the Compatibility mode for programs using self-protection option.

If that does not work then find the "Heuristic Scanning" option in Kaspersky and disable that.

Are people able to use HEM HUD for Rush while playing 4-6 tables? I close it after 2 mins when popups don't popup and when its way behind. Just wondering if this is standard and it seems like every other thing I read is works fine and then not at all?

1.10.03b

http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

* Removed unnecessary message boxes shown during database schema changes
* Fixed a problem where changes to auto import folders were not automatically picked up by the importer
* Modified the Rush file detection to better handle when FTP modifies the table structure (ie taking a table that was using ante's previously and removing that)
* Session tab now allows you to specify the currency to use for Amount Won, EV and Rake (previously it had been set to $USD)
* Update to deal with older Prima Euro hands that used a different currency hash in the hand history causing them not to be recognized
* HUD fixes for Rush

Hi there,

here's my problem:
Whenever I start playing the next day or so, I start from the beginning hands-wise. For example, the record for my hero says 100 hands on monday, 200 hands on wednesday and 100 hand on friday, but when I play on saturday I don't get 400 hands imported and displayed on the HUD, but just 0.

Now, I read somewhere - I beleive - that this is perfectly normal, since it's the hero.

But,
Is this the same for other players? Can't be, cause it would destroy all HM is about. So, provided I set up my import folder correctly, when I encounter a guy I have 500 hands on, will the HUD display all 500 hands, or will it start from 0, too???

thanks for the response fozzy...

unfortunately i cant seem to solve this problem.

ive updated to the latest version of HEM, and then went looking through the archive folder as you instructed but the hand itself isnt in there at all for some reason which confuses me. There is all of the hands i played yesterday but the largest hand of the session isnt even in there? does this mean the full tilt software didnt save the hand to my hand history and thus HEM cannot find what doesnt exist!

thanks

Posted this in HEM forums also but figured might get faster response here, just upgraded to newest version of HEM and when I launch HUD/Table Manager, my AHK hotkeys stop working

for example, I have a script that moves tables to different quadrants of the screen by pushing certain keys, whenlaunch then it stops working for Stars or HEM but works fine with other programs. Is there anyway to fix this? My table moving script doesn't work with HEM at all but it does work fine on my roomates comp

Thanks

It should display all hands on the villains, filtered by game type, depending on how you have the Additional HUD Filters configured. Make sure they are all set from 2-10 so it doesnt matter how many people are dealt in to the hand. If you are playing NLHE cash games you won't see any Omaha or Tourney hands in the HUD stats. To see someones table/session stats you can double-click the not icon on their HUD. To be sure the villain has more hands than are being displayed in the HUD, you can search their name on the Reports tab or you can open the HUD Options > Launch Active Player Details Window to see their detailed stats/hands.

Did you possibly close/leave the table before the hand finished? Have you made a new DB and imported the hands there as a test? You can email support and ask for your hands from that day or for ALL your old hands and tourney summaries. They also have a new beta utility for requesting hands, but not everyone has access to it yet. Cashier > My Promotions > Hand History Beta

Which version were you using before you updated? Everything worked fine with that version? Which Operating System? Is HM and HMHUD running as admin? Is autohotkey.exe set to run as admin?

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Do the same for \program files\autohotkey\autohotkey.exe

If you close the HUD does it work properly? If you stop auto import? If you close HM?

You mean if HM is open your script wont move the stars tables? What OS does your room mate have? Can you post the script that you use that is having the conflict so I can try to duplicate it? Have you asked the script developer if he knows of the conflict and how to cure it?

You have a .backup file of your DB? Do you have a copy of your old \Holdem Manager or \Holdem Manager\Config folder?

Quote:

TY
If you have a .backup file you can try to restore your DB but you must use the same version of postgresql to restore the .backup. If you have any problems restoring it or missing data after restoration, I suggest a new DB and import all your original/archived hands. If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney summaries.

To get your HUDs and various settings back, you need the \config folder. The most important files are the prefs.xml and holdemmanager.config files, along with any custom stats, .POP or Report files.

If you have the old \config folder you can install HM, and then copy/paste those files into place in your new installation. I would then run the latest update, to be sure none of your old config files weren't in need of updating.

You should still check all of the basic settings like auto import and archive folders to make sure nothing has changed. I also suggest you export any custom HUDs to their own individual XML files as a backup. If your prefs.xml file is ever damaged or lost you will need to import your custom HUD configs to a new prefs.xml file.
