What site is this for? Have you tried creating a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=146 and rimporting the hands from the archive folder to see if it picks up the missed ones?

Read the HM Releases forum for the latest news, imo.

This is rough since it is hard to gauge how long some of these things will take but here is an idea of what we are planning for the next couple of months as far as major features go. Note that as usual beta's will be available prior to official release of each build.

1.08 Release Feb 15 (we are currently on beta 6 of this build and are now focusing on fixing bugs and adding the remaining sites for tourney support)
* Tourney support for all sites
* Entraction Support
* Hand Range Analyzer in Replayer
* SNG Luck Factor

1.09 Release Mar 15
* Auto Rate
* Multi Currency
* Omaha Beta
* Table Scanner Beta

Either the "Won Hand = False" filter doesn't work correctly, or I'm thinking it does something it shouldn't. I assumed this filtered will show hands where "hero didn't win the pot (either by folding at some stage or losing at showdown)"

However I've found hands where you fold preflop are removed from "Won Hand = False" listing. I.e. it seems this filter will only show "red" hands (those with negative profit) and not "grey" hands (hands where you lose 0 or just the blind you posted).

imo "Won Hand = False" should be mutually exclusive to "Won Hand = True"

Is anyone running HEM on a FAT filesystem?

I am running windows on an iMAC under BootCamp which is
partitioned as FAT. When I ran the postgres sql install program
it said I need to run a program initdb.exe to install postgres sql on a
FAT filesystem. But I can´t find this program in the original .zip
download.

Has anyone tried this and know where I can find the initdb.exe program?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Anyway I can talk to someone from HEM on the PLO beta stuff?

I'd really like to help and I have a good list of solid PLO players that grind a ton that would love to get into a private beta if that could be worked out? If someone from HEM could PM me for any more info on this, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

inside of your SQL installation directory, likely to be c:\program files\postgresql\bin\

There is no sql installation directory.
Not from the .zip file I downloaded from rvg.
Perhaps the installation directory is not created until
the installation is complete. And since the installation was
aborted (since the file system is FAT) the installation directory
was not created (? speculation on my part).

Perhaps I can find some more info on this on the postgres sql site.

FAT works fine.

I downloaded the latest installation package from postgresql.org
and this installation worked without a hiccup and without even
mentioning a word about FAT vs NTFS. Then I installed and ran
HEM. Everything works as expected with a small database. If I will
run into stability and or performance issues down the road, only time
will tell.

But postgresql does install on FAT file systems and HEM seems to work OK.

I have an odd problem - A buddy of mine went pretty deep (well, into the money anyway) in the big Stars tourney on Sunday. He wanted to review his his hands with a re-player. He is as technically adroit as a brick, so he requested his tournament hands in the lobby, then forwarded the email to me. I tried it in the Popopop replayer, but it seems out of date, and they did not import. Then I thought heck, HEM should be able to replay the tourney if I import the hands, and that will help me sell my buddy on HEM (he is using PT2 still).

Problem - The hands don't import.

Hands Imported: 0 Hands/s: 0.0/s
Import Errors: 390

Any ideas?

LOL

I'm 39.

My first PC was in maybe 1980 a TI 99-4A with 16K ram and a casette drive. I wrote games in BASIC for it. Bigtime junior high school geek.

Atari 400 later.

First truly useful computer was a Macintosh LC with 40 MB HDD in college. Man I was the **** when I broke down and got a 28k(?) modem to connect to USENET boards (that's where rec.gambling.poker calls home). The online porn was truly sad in those days, kids today don't know how good they have it.

I had a very similar setup as yours in 97 and paid over two grand for it. That was back when I was getting hooked on poker.

I said my first 'modern pc'. I am 37 yrs old. My first computer was an atari in the early 80's. I remember wishing I could afford to get a commodore 64.

Well I guess "modern PC" is relative and debatable. Sounds like you mean a Wintel-type machine? Commodore 64 was sure nice, although I always had more love for the Amigo or Pet.

To figure your rakeback can you use filter "won hand" and then just look at rake and then take whatever % rakeback you have?

Is anyone else having issues launching holdem manager this morning. It won't launch and asks for my serial number. I looked it up and reentered it. However, it fails to connect and activate.

Is there any way to limit stats to "the last X hands"? Often when I'm playing long HU matches I find myself looking for a way to get a better feel for the current flow of the match and what adjustments my opponents are making. For example, I'll get the feeling my opponent is 3betting a lot more lately and I'd like to get a confirmation from the HUD.

Double click the note icon (*) and it will set their stats to current table session stats only. Or you can use the HUD Options > Additional HUD Filters > Include hands newer than X months old.
