I have 2 HM (notebook and home) . I have the same dbs. I made a backup throught PGAdminIII in pc1 and a restore in pc2 but in this pc end with 155 errors and hence less hh imported ( about 1000 players less)

I tried two times with same result . Previous backups were exactly. Im running 1.07 in both pcs .

Any idea ?

If you backed up and restored your postgreSQL database w/pgAdmin, then it's not a HoldemManager problem. I had a similar problem, and it was fixed when I used the EXACT same version of postgreSQL and the EXACT same name for the database. (Moral of the story: Make a backup of your postgreSQL install file with your pgAdmin backup. )

I wouldn't think the version differences would be such a big deal, but they have been for me.

How do i filter for times when i called a check raise on flop and turn?
Any time i set the filters i get 0 hands. ty

1. When will the updates load automatically or can I at least get an email to let me know a new update is available?
2. Is there a stat for how often a player limps, then folds to a preflop raise?
3. What was changed in the 1.08 beta version? I have 1.07.01 and don't know if I should update.

As far as the 1.08 beta, it has FULL tourney and SnG integration. If your cash only then it's not to much, but if you play MTTs or SnGs then it's pure gold.

I just created my own custom stat (this can be copied and pasted onto CustomStats.txt file in reports-folder), it is the total blinds paid. I think I got it right, just basically looked into some other custom stats and used logic, customised a bit.

My question is, what "language" is this - xml or sumething else?

Its unlikely youll have a hand where you check raised the flop and the turn, you can filter them seperateley where you just c/r the flop or just c/r the turn and you should get more results then

This has probably been addressed several times but the search function has failed me.

Is the EV calculation going to be altered so it accounts for street by street equity like pokerEV? just calculating all in ev gives a very incorrect picture of what the actual ev was unless the person is only shoving in PF.

Here is a look at my last ~160k hands using pokerEV and HEM. According to pokerEV I ran ~$1300 below ev (gap between red and blue). However, according to HEM I ran ~$400 below ev (gap between light green and dark green). This is a pretty big difference and it is clearly a result of HEM not taking into a account street by street equity calculations.




Please consider fixing this. I do not like having to import my hands into both PT2 and HEM just to see how bad i ran.

Works good for me, just set it up to run as Admin, similarly for the sites themselves and all should be fine.

I also posted a while back asking for street by street Equity calcs as the way all in EV works is not really very good as far as i understand it. I think it means that if i have a $200 stack and get $175 in on the flop then the last $25 on the turn and get sucked out by a 2 outer it looks like i played it bad EV wise. eg 55 with a set on the flop Vs KK which hits a set on the turn. I think knowing this type of thing is very useful in seeing if you are really running or playing bad you may feel you are running bad but really are paying bad and vice versa.

i played a few tournaments away from home yesterday on my laptop. i flew home today and updated HEM with the new update with tourney support beta on my DESKtop. it contains the results of my tournaments yesterday! how is this possible? awesome, but how?

also ironically the tournaments i played yesterday were imported corretly but the onesi played today all had errors

Since the FTP update today, my hud does not show up on the tables. Also, the table manager doesn't find the tables either. BUT, it still imports the tournies into the database. Do I need to reset something in the manager to get it to read the tables and display the stats?

Import stopped working after FTP update

This isnt possible unless you exported the HH or the archive. The hands are contained within the postgreSQL folder on your PC so only you can transfer them, I would contact Ghostbusters if it contiues to happen

I just opened a table again after a few hour break, and now it works.

I'm getting this error that crashes both HEM and PokerStars every time I start up a session now where I get a can't write posprefs.text or something. Really, really annoying at this point.

I closed it and restarted and it worked fine

wondering if in HM, we can see how well we perform against short stacks? i'm pretty sure i'm losing money to short stacks and would like to know if i should be folding a lot more.

i know that i can do an analysis based on stack size, but that's on My Own stack size. i'd like to see how i do against villains with stack size of 15bb to 25bb.

I've been using HEM with iPoker sites and it works fine. I tried using it with Pokerstars today and the HUD stats do not display next to the correct player names like they do on iPoker sites. On top of that I tend to get at least one HUD stat on a player that isn't even sitting at that table. When I move stats around using right click drag from one table it moves the stats on the other table. I realize this and it would be fine if it moved the stats to the correct positions on each table but such is not the case.

I have no idea how to fix this. I've spent hours now reading the FAQ and posts about HEM related PS issues.

I've tried setting up my preferred seating in HEM and in PS but that doesn't change anything. I've tried using "Force Ontop" in HEM table preferences but that doesn't do anything. I've tried setting "fix my stats position" and configuring my hero name in HEM but that doesn't fix the HUD problems for Stars.

Any ideas? I'm getting very frustrated. ;D
