how do I find my MT ratio, and consequently my hands/hr? Also, is there no way to just make it such that it shows HU as 1 limit and 6max as the other limit. I know you can go to # of players, but I just want hu and 6max (regardless of # of players at table.) Want this so I can figure out hands/hr that I'm getting.

I didn't have the time, or motivation to do them. My mother had just passed away when Mike/Roy asked me to do them. I also thought the job was a bit more suited towards Mr Q. He should have just used the images he made for PEV, considering that appears to be vaporware.

Couldn't find this in the FAQ:

How to have stats pop up on observed tables on AP. Similar to Stars where HEM will grab one hand for table selection purposes in order to display stats.

MT ratio is on the to do list, Not possible to filter exclusively by type as HM assumes based on the No of players.

Youll need to do it manually, you could setup a folder for summaries add this to the auto import folder and then save all your summaries there, this would work unless you have a huge amount of them

Also, this isnt nearly as big of a problem, but when I was importing hands, it got stuck for about the last 20 minutes or so, said the estimated finish time was ~9 minutes, didnt import a single hand, so I shut it off. It had been importing hands for about six hours prior to that. I doubt this is related to the above problem.

Any plans for an auto import? This sux. PT2 you just click a button, it grabs the summary from the site, jumps on your email and imports them. So we'll have to manual choose from Stars the correct tourneys to import, grab the email and save to text, then import right?

It's a beta that has been out for about 1 week, auto importing summaries will be done. For now, if you want to use the beta, then you will need to import the summaries manually. Easiest way right now is to just select the last 50 or 100 tourneys in a summary and then save and import the entire file.

Roy

I'm sorry Roy, I came off wrong at the wrong moment. I love the software and everything you've done with it. Everything (except the auto import ) is perfect IMO and we all appreciate the hard work. HEM is light years beyond PT and a much better product overall!

Thank you

BTW I don't know why people insist that you need UAC disabled in order to make PostgreSQL work with HEM. I figured it out in like 5 seconds.

The main trick to installing and making things work with UAC is to not install them in a system protected location. That means, don't install to c:\program files\. Install them to your user folder, which you will always have rights over.

Here's what I did under Vista 64.

1) Disable UAC and reboot.
2) Make a directory called Poker under your user profile. In that directory, make a directory for postgreSQL.
3) Install postgreSQL to the directory you created; get the version off of their site -- it's newer. Create the postgres user as normal per the installation and give it a secure password. You don't have to use 'postgrespw' or whatever the default is; you should give it a real password and store it somewhere.

Installation will complete but you'll get an error. When you get this error, it basically means that it can't start the service. Why? Because the postgres user doesn't have rights over the installation directory. When you get the error box, go to your postgresql directory and edit the permissions on that folder. Add the postgres user and give it full control. Then go to your services menu and start the service manually. It will start fine. Then click OK or continue on the postgresql installation box. Installation will finish.

4) Install HEM inside your Poker directory structure eg %user%\Poker\Holdem Manager. Give postgres user modify rights to this directory as well. I'm not sure if this is needed but it can't hurt.

5) Re-enable UAC and reboot.

Under this I have no problem at all. Auto-import works fine (which I understood to be the chief problem with UAC) and everything else is just hunky dory.

You can adjust this by going to HUD options & selecting additional hud filters.

You can open the C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config\HoldemManager.config

<setting name="LastArchiveFolder">D:\HHF - Processed HM</setting>

http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=173 you can choose what to export although that is on the list although you can purge all observed HH by following that FAQ http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=152 and just make sure to choose Do not delete HH from "Hero"

Recently tried to import a big bunch of ft NL25 hands.
HEM is telling me that about 10% of the hands are erroneous.
Can I see a more detailed report somewhere?
I need to get used to HEM.
I probably miss where it's hidden?

When I look at my cash game report I've played 17609, but watching at the hands-tab I've only played 17521, how can this be different? Also the profit is different on these tabs. I've no filters on, and not marked only show marked hands or show know holecards.

Has anyone tried what Bogglor suggested regarding UAC control? I'm not computer friendly enough to give this a bash and have it fail, I'd never be able to fix it. If it stops my bloody machine shouting at me about security threats because UAC is turned off I might just give it a go...

It dosent tell you whats wrong with them just that there were errors. Cna you try creating a new database and reimport them and see if theres still errors: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=146

Ill give this a try and see how it works, not because i want to see if it works with UAC because the amount of prompts you get when its on is far more than when its off, like a 2 year following me around asking me stupid questions everytime i do anything but id like to see if it causes less issues with postgreSQL where Vista sometimes blocks access to HM, ill report back on how it goes.
